I have purchased around a dozen Persian rugs from Serapi on Chicago Ave on Evanston over the years. They are all collectors pieces and I paid a very fair price for quality pieces that are in terrific conditions (much less than other places for high quality pieces). When my dog chewed the corner of my 20 foot handwoven camel hair runner. Jahan had his guy fix it at cost. The owner is a delightful guy who has been in Chicago for over thirty years and received his college degree in Illinois in engineering. He seems to buy and sell rugs all over the country and can identify the qualities and year of any rug...I have tried many and he has always been correct!
