Just got an amazing deal on a new car there today. Ashley is the absolute best to work with, she helped me find the car perfect for me and in my price range and was super patient with me. I wish I could give her 10 stars. Highly Recommend going to liberty, you wont regret it and Ashley will help you with all of your needs.
Working with Ashley was a outstanding experience. I contacted her on Marketplace on a 73 cougar. She responded immediately. I was able to get a price and she took the time to get a video to me. We briefly discussed a cash price but due to my work schedule and the business being closed on Saturday I had to wait a week to get there. Because of the delay I had to pay $400 bucks more than we discussed due to more interest in the car. Ashley made sure I had the title in hand when I left and the staff helped load the car into my enclosed trailer with no issues. Thanks to Ashley for all the help.
So far so good! Got a new engine here. It was much cheaper than I expected and the car is going strong a month later.
Called to order transmission listed online. Waited a week.accountant called to email me a credit card authorization form. I have dealt with all kinds of parts businesses across the country and never had to complete a form just to use my credit card unless it was a hotel. I did not know the accountant that called and asked to talk to fritz as I had before to voice confirm with him before I did this. Instead of reassuring me and sending me the form like any hotel would have done he called me sketchy and hung up on me. I never refused, only wanted verification from the person I had ordered from. HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS AND A GREAT WAY TO NEVER GAIN NEW CUSTOMERS. They may be doing something sketchy with credit and debit cards here so buyer beware.
Ashley was super helpful in helping us buy a vw beetle for my daughter today. They were so short handed in employees, and they were super busy. She was great and we had several people trying to help us. When they found out that my daughter just got her permit. And this was her first car. They made my daughter feel like she was so special on her special day. Thank you so much Ashley!!!
I was trying to sell Liberty a junk car and I was in the process of negotiation on a fair price and the gentleman on the phone working for Liberty gets frustrated and hangs up on me. I called him back and asked why he hung up on me and he told me that I was wasting his time and costing him money but little did he know the whole time I was going to sell the car to him anyways. Im not selling anything to Liberty now after that experience. I was friendly as I could possibly be and treated him with as much respect as I possibly could and did not matter this guy was probably the rudest guy Ive talked to in a long time. Instead I think Im just going to donate the car to someone else who knows how to treat their customers or give it away to an organization more deserving. Liberty Auto Salvage you have officially lost my business.
Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Tried buying a car through them. HAD to go through Ashlee. If she wasnt there or busy, the others didnt care. Sure, you can get a cheap car there. Maybe as long as you walk in & lay down some cash. They shouldnt even be on FB advertising if they aint gonna work with the ppl trying to buy from em. I couldve had the car I wanted if they did.
I bought a car from them, 2006 Pontiac G6, runs good, looks good, think it going to work just fine, Ashlee, the young lady behind the counter, was really great to work with, she was busy customers and me. One lady had a anger problem, cussing, and crying and whinning, cause they didn,t have her part pulled, she left 90 seconds later they bought it in counter..Thanks Ashlee.
Just got a car from here today, Ashlee was such a joy to work with and very knowledgeable and helpful while completing the process. Thanks again Ashlee.
Bought a van. The van had problems. Called them on it. They were very gracious and sorry. They refunded all our money back. And we humbly thank them.
Bought a truck today from the saleswoman ashlee. She did a great job.
Ashlee sold me my dream jeep, it does need a little TLC, but nothing major that I know of yet! She was super helpful though and honest about what she knew and didn’t know about the keep (which is kinda hard to find nowadays) and if I ever recommend anybody to go somewhere for a used car in Evansville Indiana I will definitely send them to her!
They will infact hang up on you before your done talking
Great customer service, greatest warranty in town!!!! Can order parts from other yards too. Just great people to be around and work with!
Super super great people! I bought a taillight from them and I realized I got the wrong one and called back and STILL helped me out with a great amount of respect! Right when you come in to when you are done they have your back! Thank you!
I bought a car from Ashlee it was a very great experience!!
Very friendly, they have what you need, or they will find it. Very good pricing.
Prompt action on help I needed with my car issue and friendly service. Ill definitely be back for all my auto needs.
Great service, pulled the part and had it waiting for a very reasonable price.
They didnt have what I needed and they didnt give me a straight answer with any of my questions
Had exactly what I needed for a great price. Quick and easy
One of the best places to buy used parts in our area. Very helpful and friendly people.
Called, got my parts ready, goin to pick them up tomorrow... I would recommend this place.
Best place in town for all used parts. Often I order misc. parts that I am unable to get aftermarket or oem and never have a problem. Coming from someone in the automotive repair industry, this is the place to go if you are seeking after used parts. The guys are professional and have never failed me!
I spoke with the same salesman over the phone about a door for a truck three different times. I explained to him how I was coming from 1.5 hours away to get the door, and that I’d be there first thing Friday morning. He said he would put in the order and have the door ready for me when I got there. When we arrived a little under an hour after they opened, we walked around the empty lobby looking for a worker. For a minute, I thought we were in the wrong building because there was no way to alert someone you were there. We noticed someone in one of the back offices so I knocked on the glass a few times and he didn’t hear us. Luckily, as I was standing there knocking on the glass, one of the guys outside in the lot saw me. I think he was another salesman. I have him my name and phone number that was on my order so he could find out here it was. He then explained that they didn’t have the door that I spoke on the phone about THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. The guy who was helping me was not the same guy who placed my order. The guy helping me was doing his best to help, and I do appreciate his help, but that is the only spec of this encounter that was appreciated. The explanation for the missing door was basically that the door or maybe entire truck vanished of the lot... all they said was the guy in the lot couldn’t find it. To make matters worse, they told me that my salesman was alerted about the situation before 3pm the previous day. He had 2.5 hours of the business day he was supposed to call me and save me the drive, but m didn’t. He had my name and number! They pulled up some other available doors, that were both damaged and the wrong color. The guy did feel bad and offered to knock $50 off those compared to what I was going to pay for the less damaged, correct color door. When he also mentioned that it would probably be cheaper than the original door before he offered the $50 off. So I honestly don’t know if it would have only been $200 from the start. So because we were in such a pinch, I was willing to take the door, and find somewhere to paint it. But they told me I’d have to wait in Evansville for 4+ hours for the door. I understand that there is an order to business. But I do not understand why if MY ORDER WAS SUPPOSED TO BE READY when I arrived, why they could not make me being willing to buy a crappier door wasn’t made a priority. There were many guys walking around the lot, I do not understand why someone couldn’t go pull the door in under 4 hours.
The guy I talked to when I called (Witty) was nice. I arrived there and he wasn’t there. Dark haired guy was nice, the one that pulled a part for me. The man at the counter wasn’t nice at all, he was sarcastic and quit talking to me after I wasn’t interested in the wheel and started waiting on someone that just walked in. I found one for a cheaper price at another location in Evansville. Very nice man that was patient and helpful. I will remember that. ;)
Prices is to high. You can go to Glissons and get it cheap and u can go on there yard and look your self.
When I needed an alternator for my Cadillac I was able to get in an out Best customer service great product Ill be back.
Always helpful
I love this place! I always have trouble with my car and instead of paying my mortgage on replacement parts, I can just come here and have it done way cheaper. I recommend to anyone who needs car parts because they will do you right!
I bought a used wheel from Liberty recently and it worked great. I had first price the wheel from my local dealership and they told me it was going to cost $284.00. I called Liberty and they had a used wheel for $75.00. I saved over $200.00 dollars. Will definitely purchase from again.
Love this place !...they are a poor mans lkq ...they are hooked up with PRP and Midwest runner .. that means they are hooked up with 300+ yards all over the Midwest ... They can get parts from Chicago in a day and get it to you in two .. they drive to Louisville everyday to go to a hub to get parts fast.. they have amazing warranties no fault warranty great parts and good people they come off a like rude but they will help you anyway they can anything and everything you need from head lights to engines all the way to a front in complete car to doors and glass
Worse place ever to buy parts from they sold me a transmission that had problems I paid a shop $500 dollars to put in a bad transmission waste of money then the salesman Witt told me if I could get my truck to them they would fix it for free he did not stand on his word I paid another $125 to have towed there and another $125 to have it towed home I wouldnt recommend anyone to shop there..
Needing a replacement tail light for my Nissan, I went straight to Liberty. Speaking with the men there, they really helped put me at ease, even as a first time car owner. Thanks so much for your help.
I love going to Liberty. I can usually find what I am looking for. So you can imagine my surprise and disappointment when I pulled a part that was the wrong part for my car and had to make a second trip for the right part. Only to get there and have the sales guy tell me that they no longer do returns. Their new policy, as it was explained to me, was that you now pull at your own risk. Meaning if you pull a part that does not work its just your lost. I always thought that the whole point to their operations was to sell you parts that you salvage off of the cars that work. I never questioned the longevity of the part because it was coming from a salvage yard, but in times past they would allow an exchange or return if the part did not work once it was installed. Every time I need a pat I always second guess myself when it comes to Liberty because I have no way of knowing if the part I pull will work, and I dont want to buy a part that doesnt work. Who does? So there are some thing I just wont buy from Liberty. Id rather suffer going through the rubbish at Glissions. At least I know that if the part doesnt work they will allow me to return the faulty parts. Change isnt always good. I dont know who thought that the new policy of selling customers parts that dont work without the ability to return them was a good idea but it wasnt. What your doing is taking an advantage of people and you should be closed down for doing business in such a manner.
I bought a used tire from Liberty past week. It is working fine. If I would have bought that tire from local dealer then it would cost me around two hundred dollar. One friend suggested me Liberty Auto Salvage and they had it in stock. It costed me sixty dollar. I have managed to save over two hundred dollars. If you are in a tight budget and want good quality used product then look no further, they are here for you.
My husband was extremely well pleased with the service and price of the wheel. He didnt even have to go on a search for the wheel, they already had it pulled. Very fast and they even gave us 2 calendars.
Liberty has a great staff. All of the phone staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We have done business with them for years and they have never let me down.
This place used to be awesome, but now they wont let you pull your own part. I want to walk through the yard myself so I can see the quality of the parts Im looking for. I dont want to rely on some guy I dont know to take care of a part he doesnt care about. Ill be going to Glissons until they get rid of this nonsense policy.
I needed a new headlight for my corolla. I went down to Liberty, and they helped me grab the right one in a half hour. Real easy & great guys.
Guy at front desk was not professional and threw a tantrum because another employee made him sell a center cap off of a rim instead of the full rim. Universal Salvage was super helpful and called over getting us a much better price.
They have what appear as new facility. After negotiating and finding what i was looking for and made sure of their products. Tow doors and a finder. I drove ~ FOUR (4) hours, I found the front door was damaged and interior trim was off. The salesman (mike Emory) did not come out to talk to me. I am stuck drove 4 hours and young receptionist said Mr. Emory is busy. That door was physically damage as well as the regulator. Three days later on, I called and talked to a manager. I started saying I do not need a credit just want you to know about my experience. he was short from professional and friendly. He said Ha Ha, I told him again what is need just to listen. I was upset and stressed to point what I want. to be fait at the end he said to let him if I needed some in the future to talk to him,. He did not even say his name. Bottom line be CAREFUL dealing with this company nonsense. I know what do not live in a perfect world but these people I dealt with are Far from nice and/or fair. Some of the loading employee were nice and professional but the salesman and the Management were below expectations. My suggestion find some other location before you deal with them
I got into more than a fender bender in my van last week, and I need my entire tail light replaced. I went over to Liberty to see if theyd be able to help, and they had a great deal on the tail light I needed.
Keep your money dont buy anything from here
Worst ever I called 3 times they hung up every time. 3rd time I heard a man swearing before hanging up. Terrible!!!
Wow! Is all I can say, please dont waist your time with these lying, dishonest ppl. I drove 1hr30 min to pick up a door for my van that they told me was in very good shape and they said they already took the door off and it would be ready for pick up. I get there and the door is all beat up and it was still on the van. Unbelievable!!!!!! Cant believe I waisted my time with them!
Ok
The electrical component responsible for raising and lowering the windows of my car broke down. I came here and purchased the part I needed for a good price. Thank you guys.
My husband was skeptical at first about getting replacement parts from a salvage but my car is running smooth and I am not facing any problem. This is a much better and cheaper solution.
Do you have to pull your own parts at this location?
After many years of usage, my vans door handle broke off in my hand last week. I took it down to Liberty, and they were immediately able to pull the right one for me.
Terrible customer service...Im a mechanic and they try to tell me whats gonna work and not work when i specifically asked the year veichle they have in. They kept asking the year of my car. Not the info i wanted to recieve. All that had to do is give me the year of the cars i asked for. Very terrible.
My pick up needed a new gear shift, and I was not gonna go pay full price for something I could get myself. I drove down to Liberty, and met up with one of the guys there who led me right to my shifter. That extra step was enough to keep me coming back.
This is what was sold who checked it out before they sold it
Friendly, great service & excellent prices!
I bought an engine at liberity, they said core value was $100.00, when I delivered the core, liberty said no core on engine and would not refund my $100.00. They are a rip off. Do not trust them.
I looked everywhere for an annoyingly hard to find hinge for my dads old car. Found their website and called them up... bippity boppity boo they had it!
I will tell you guys what really happened with this ashole old guy who i assume hes the manager.two weeks ago i went there to buy a used tire then when got to tire place the guy told that i got the wrong size,i said man thats sucks so i decided to go back to liberty and i explain that i got wrong size he replied me saying thats your problem.i said for real and he was telling me that they dont give you credit on tires..im sorry to make this review to long but is jus to let you know that becarefull with this people they just want your money but went it cames to please the clients the just ignore you..
Bought a taillight, a door, and 4 hubcaps from this place years ago. I dont think you can still pull a part yourself anymore though.
With an older car like mine, its sometimes a struggle to find parts. I went into Liberty with quite a list, they had the majoity I needed, and their dedication to their customers really showed in our transaction.
They havent had a self serve yard for a year and yet their website still shows their yard inventory. when i question the guy on the phone about it he gets all pissed and basically hangs up on me
With an old car such as mine, I wasnt prepared for the hail on my windshield earlier this winter, a large piece cracked my mirror, and Liberty was willing and able to help me pull the right mirror.
They have a whole lot of old and even new vehicle parts, anything I need, they got it.
Didnt have the part I needed but at least the guy on the phone was nice. Called 3 other places and most of them would barely speak to me.
I found a cheap rear bumper for my Honda Accord and saved a ton of money.
It is always a pleasure to purchase from liberty
Went there to get an absolute control module and they had one on the shelf and it was the wrong one and they told me that they couldnt keep pulling parts of to show me and the dam thing was on a shelf already and told me to go home and bring mine in and I live and hr away and told them that and they didnt care wont go back there again went to glisson and they was a lot better
Always helpful and knowledgeable!
Has a directory That tells you to press 1 for parts. Told you to hold. Then transfers you. And Goes to voicemail? How does a place like this stay in business?
Had what I needed. A little high on price for used parts.
Just talking to a couple of their representatives on the phone. They have smart ass mouths! !!!!
Nice place
Helpful and friendly
I was told they had the engine upon arrival I was given a different one. They swore up and down it had less mileage.Did a Vin check and the car it was pulled from had over 75000 more miles than they said. These people are garbage.
Theyll screw you
