How can anyone not like a croissant donut!?! Fresh, soft, sweet, and flaky! So many options to select from we had the Apple Carmel and the Blueberry. We could not decide which was better. The blueberry was slightly sweeter, the apple had a bit of firmness due to the real apples in the glaze. Both were outstanding and scrumptious. Loved the decor and atmosphere, so relaxing and full of conversation pieces.
Honestly the places isnt as amazing as people hype it up to be. The donuts, while mildly tasty, are overpriced. Theyre basically fancy rolls. If theyre not 100% fresh, the flaky outside becomes dried out and the donut drops crumbs everywhere and they get hard to chew. So prepare yourself for a mess. At our last and final visit to Parlor - The staff helping us pick out our selections were very kind at the start... The restaurant could use a good scrub down with some tidying up. Overall - Just not impressive.
It was the best donuts Ive ever tasted. I came to visit from Florida and ofcourse a friend brought me here for some breakfast and coffee. It never disappointed me; it was really good. The bread itself isnt that sweet and they put all the toppings on the top to make it that good. Recommend this local cafe..
Best donuts I’ve ever had! This place has a great atmosphere and great tasting layered donuts that reminded me of a croissant or danish. So much flavor in the dough. We had the fruit tart, maple pecan, cookies and cream, and Reese’s. Every single one was delicious. We can’t wait to come back in and try more flavors. Our total was $10.80 for 4 donuts, however these donuts are worth it. They are so much better than your average Dunkin’ or krispy creme.
At this point in my life I thought I knew what good donuts were, until I went to parlor donuts. They take them to the next level! They are an absolute treat. I wish I never would’ve found out about them. They are layered and flaky just like a croissant, with all of the sweetness that you would expect from a decadent doughnut. If you think you’re interested try to resist. These donuts will haunt your dreams nightly. Well worth the drive from wherever you’re at.
More like a huge crossosant. Very yummy probably twice the size of a normal doughnut. Very good but not sure if I would splurge again. $10 for 4 doughnuts. Unique flavors you wont find anywhere else. Flavors listed on website.
If you want some special great pastries this is the place like no other in the area. You will keep coming back to try something new I have never been disappointed with anything I have purchase there.
This place is amazing!!! We went in to get a cup of coffee and wait for overstock to open. When we got inside it was stepping into another time. All kinds of some might call donuts but, I call sensational excellant pastries, melt in your mouth kind. The coffee was amazing, all kinds to choose from. They bring their own beans And you can see where they do it at. Its a true uptown coffee house in a hometown setting.
These “doughnuts” that aren’t doughnuts are ridiculously tasty’The ingredient mix creative and über delicious ( delightful results ‼️ ). Very prominent ‘drool’ factor!! Ohhhhh my🤩‼️Outstanding in store selection. And.... the selection area staffed by wonderfully polite and patient professionals.Cafe feel to the place. Indoor and outdoor seating. All very nicelydone. And of course, 😋 Über YUM !!
Wonderful food, soso staff... js
Were new fans of these cronuts! We tried this place for the first time last week. My husband loves them so much he wants to keep going back for more! They have a powdered, raspberry filled thats not on the menu and it is my absolute favorite! The strawberry short cake is my 2nd favorite. Kids love the carnival. Its so festive and cute with sprinkles! The maple pecan is good. The only one I didnt like was the churro. I didnt try the other flavors. They are so fun to look at as well a eat! The drive thru makes it super easy. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you love pastries!
I stopped in Evansville looking for a local cup of coffee. And, Holy Cow! I found THIS!! In Evansville!! Yes the coffee is terrific, but the DONUTS? Criminy! They can more than hold their own with Gordoughs in Austin, TX or Portos Bakery in Buena Park, CA. Good Lord, these are PHENOMENAL donuts... Who can say no to a Maple Bacon for Sunday brunch? Well you CANT when it is baked up with a beignet texture straight from World Cafe in New Orleans.Im not kidding - visit Evansville just for the donuts. Tell em Bram sent you. (I shouldve gotten an influencer contract with them before posting this. Ill have to settle for the satisfaction of helping them stay in business.)As for the pic, youre lucky I stopped before my last bite to capture this!
We bought 7 different donuts and shared, so fresh, light and airy...and the flavors were magnificent...also had the pineapple mint lemon juice and oatmeal was exquisite....we will be back!!!!
My daughter went through their drive a couple of days ago and ordered a cold brew with milk and vanilla. When she pulled up to the window, the girl responded at drink hand off...just so you know, depending on whos working, not everyone will do this to the cold brew...so dont expect it every time.Obviously it embarrassed her...so she took the drink and pulled away. Its just a good thing I wasnt there. Ive since told her, to absolutely refuse to accept the order and require her money back. This is absolutely not the way to earn business and retain your customers. Im in the customer service industry...and nothing irritates me more than an employee being disrespectful to a paying customer willing to pay for a product you serve. Personally, I dont care how you typically serve it....If a PAYING customer wants to add something to their drink...and you charge the premium your charging for it...you need to follow through with the request. Or at least be nice and kind about it...and remember your not the only coffee and donut shop in town. Ive personally been in their on a couple of occasions and you just dont get that Were glad your here feeling from the people behind the counter.
Surprisingly they have gluten-free stuff and according to my wife it was delicious!
EDIT: They deleted their reply, that’s shadyI asked if they had dairy alternatives for their coffees and the employee told me they do so I requested a carmel latte with oat milk. I cannot digest milk without medication and I don’t want to take it arbitrarily, they made my drink with straight milk so I had to call off of work because of how much I was vomiting. If they didn’t have a milk alternative they should’ve just told me so I could go somewhere else. I will never visit this establishment again and I will strongly discourage anyone else from going here.
Beautifully crafted doughnuts & great coffee. They look over the top sweet but the crescent roll dough adds a buttery flavor which compliments the toppings creating scrumptious doughnut that both sweet & savory lovers can enjoy. Dont see your favorite flavor on display? They can quickly whip you up one!
I had heard about it for awhile. Finally stopped and checked it out. Big mistake!! Just kidding! Really good stuff! So many flavors to choose from. My daughter lives in Denver and didnt know there was one there. She will definitely try it out now.
The only reason why Im giving it a five-star is the donut were great but when you walk in it was not a welcome feeling with all the employees either on their cell phones or talking about their plans for the night or looking like theyre working and wiping the same area when youve never been there they didnt tell you where to order or how it works it was like they really didnt want to even be bothered by people walking in the door but we tried it instead of them sitting and being on the phone or pretending like theyre working they could have been really cleaning the lobby with the dirty floor sticky tables and their clothes look like they have not been washed in a long time cleaner staff parent needs to be pulled back or put in a bun or in hair nets
Doughnuts are amazing and the service is good. The music is always too loud and have to tell them to turn in down. Also noticed the floor and tables are not cleaned often, a lot of sticky spots.
Amazing Gourmet donuts probably the best I have ever had.
Poasibly the best donuts in the world!!! Place is cool, staff is great, full selection is always available - just ask. Stop here EVERY time we are in Evansville!
Would like to know how to order your milkshakes. One person told me only in the 3 flavors listed. Another any flavor your doughnuts come in. Also the espresso shake only comes in espresso but Ive been getting espresso shakes in your doughnut flavors for the past month. I guess it depends on who waits on you? Confusing
These are definitely not your fathers doughnuts. They are awesome. They are sort of a cross between a doughnut ad a croissant. Not to sweet but just the right combination of pastry and glaze. There a bit more expensive then regular doughnuts. Depending on your quantity, they go from $2 -$2.75 each. The more you buy the cheaper they are. There website needs improvement, it would be nice if they explained the flavors a bit better, this would cut back on people asking, what each doughnut is. Very tasty.
Staff was friendly and the vibes were fantastic. The donuts were out of this world. This place deserves to succeed.
Very unique donuts. Have tried most of them and havent been disappointed yet. Hard to pick a favorite. The cold brew coffee is also excellent on a warm day.
Let me tell you this place is amazing! You have to try it to belive it. Trust me.
These donuts taste great and the staff was so friendly. Dont go past without stopping.
Fantastic donuts! Im going to have to find a different route to drive. This place is so good its like a magnet drawing me in and I will eat it too often!
I am not a doughnut lover, but these are not normal donuts. They are soooo delicious. You will get addicted to these quick. They are croissant doughnuts with actual fruit toppings. For example, the strawberry shortcake doughnuts has actual sliced strawberries and whipped cream on top. They have a maple bacon with actual real bacon pieces, a dreamcicle that tastes like a dreamcicle. Definitely worth every penny.
Best doughnuts ever. Staff is always patient when you are trying to decide which of the delicious doughnuts you want.
Donuts were delicious, coffee was tasty. Staff has always been friendly and helpful
What a great take on such a popular comfort food. These treats are deep fried croissants topped with your choice of glaze and toppings. The crust is crispy and flaky. The inside is soft gooey. The glaze brings out a great flavor. And the toppings give it that extra burts of flavor. Located downtown between main streets subway and BRU burger. The small shop has much charm. Lines are common to extend past the front door but it does move fast. Most donuts are cooked to order however they do have a few selections ready in the glass counter. Muffins and sandwiches are available as well as many hot and chilled drinks.
Glad you reopened. Great donuts! 🍩🍩🍩 We love to see businesses thrive! ♡♡PS: Hope youre friendly to EVERY customer, not just your regulars or the woke crowd.
These donuts are pure sugar with no flavor. Just like donut bank, these donuts made me sick a short while after eating it and last for about a day. I wont be eating these donuts any time soon.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!!! They have amazing donuts and something for everyone! I love the variety and friendly service!
Best doughnuts in Evansville! The maple bacon cronut was flakey, moist, and the topping packed with maple.
The doughnuts in this place are phenomenal! They are expensive, but worth it. The variety and creative nature of many of their offerings makes you want to try different kinds. I highly recommend this place.
Absolutely divine!! I mean like SUPERB! :DGood price for what you get. The shop itself has a good vibin atmosphere too. The lady who helped me was friendly, patient & helpful. Only wished they had more palette of drink options.Recommend trying, will def return.
Really good!! Surprisingly good. The interior is also very clean and comforting. I was served well and helped through picking out my choices. Was not disappointed at all!
Some of, if not the best coffee in town.Doughnut selection and variance is great.Seating both inside and out. Good decor.
Absolutely delicious! A lot of amazing flavors. 4 stars only because I feel like there is a lot of wasted space inside the cronut that could have been used for filling on a lot of these. We tried 12 different ones and only one had filling. Overall still really good and would recommend
Super good doughnuts. Probably the first time that I ate a doughnut and felt good about it.
The donuts are so flippin good. If youre reading this to see if you wanna go, the answer is yes. Go get a donut. The coffee has always been good and the staff has always been nice as well. We stop every Evansville trip now.
Love their food but the last time I went here the staff just wouldnt talk to me. I had to stare at them for a long time just to get help because I dont know who is supposed to help me. there were more people behind the counter at the time I went there than there was customers. very confusing experience
Good donuts...nice employees
Loved this place! The doughnuts are delicious and the staff was very nice and helpful.
Making donuts that taste this good should be illegal.
Great doughnuts and coffee. Staff was very friendly as well.
Super fresh very tasty and great quality for the money. I will be back again to try something new.
The bacon cheese sandwich is delicious. I thought this was just a Donut Shop, but that sandwich was so good!
Where to start!? Love the decor!! The two guys that was there this morning was super friendly & sweet... This was our first time here & they helped us a lot.. We celebrated National Coffee day here!!! The doughnuts was amazing!!! I tried the Churo doughnut & my husband had the French Toast doughnut. We went back & I got a Reeses doughnut to go!!!
Great tasting doughnuts. Not overly topped with icing.
Friendly employees w smiles n delicious doughnuts
Hands down Parlor donuts are the best tasting donuts I have ever eaten. The employees we had contact with was very kind and courteous. I always liked Donut Bank and thought they were the vest but Parlor is more like a hand made dessert that has a croissant type instead of yeast or cake. The price seems high until you see, smell, and taste, then you realize its worth every penny. If you want a cheap donut this is not for you, but if you have a discerning pallet and enjoy the finer things in life, you will find it here. I have to say thank you parlor donuts for the great service and product.
Imagine a crescent roll that has cinnamon sugar on it plus whatever speciality topping you order and that is what Parlor Doughnuts is. My family and I ordered the Carnival, the Turtle Cheesecake, Reeses Cup, and Strawberry Shortcake. Not your traditional doughnut and I couldnt recommend it enough. Delicious! A little pricey, but for a treat its definitely worth it.
Outstanding. I brought some doughnuts back to the office to share and they were a big hit. The texture of these doughnuts is unique and amazing. I really like those French cruellers you sometimes find - the texture reminded me of them. Kind of flaky and crisp on the outside, but soft and moist on the inside. I also thought the size was on the large side - not huge like a giant cinnamon roll, but bigger than your average grocery store doughnut. This is the only place Ive ever heard of that makes your doughnut to order. You can also order them already made if youre in a hurry like I was. Try it! Seriously, you have to respect someone willing to not only open a restaurant, but a doughnut shop, and then to have an amazing product and an equally amazing business model.
Its a good place I was just a little upset to see the the employees wernt wearing their masks, even though they are in the food service industry, and there is a global pandemic. But I guess its ok just. The food is still great, and the employees are so nice! 🙂
Best. Donuts. Ever. These donuts are on a different level than places like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme (both of which I dig) the variety is awesome...anywhere from strawberry shortcake to campfire, raspberry pistachio to bourbon caramel! Whenever I make it to Evansville, Parlor is a must stop! :)
Best place in town! Very chill atmosphere to just have a coffee with a friend or study. Only bad thing is that there is only a couple spots that have an outlet to charge your laptop. Employees are the best! Fun and work hard to make sure your visit is great. By far have the best doughnuts in town.
I have eaten here so many times because of the Chorizo breakfast tacos. I love them. The lattes are great too. I highly recommend!
OMG!! These Donuts!!! Are THE BEST EVER!! I cannot say or type it any better than that. My daughter took me for my birthday since I had been wanting to go there ever since my work brought them in 2 weeks before that!! Love the atmosphere. This mocha coffee I got she made a white heart appear out of froth even!! It was the best taste ever. It definitely was crowded but kept distance respectful. The drive through was 4-5 cars the whole time we were sitting inside. The slab tables give this an upscale urban feel to it. Definitely can for see they have already ran out of space at this location and hopefully will see one on the West side!! Please 🙏 would love to see our West side have more casual shops like this. I prefer these to the chain stores I wont mention names. Anyways, the cost is comparable if not slight more but the one donut size is like 2!! So keep in mind. Just was a great Birthday experience with my daughter. She did well on choosing my birthday cake, aka donut!! LOL
OMG! These cronuts are amazing! A welcome addition to the Evansville breakfast scene. Even going during a soft open ordering was very easy. Then you check out the sparse, but eclectic decor, breathe in the incredible aroma and wait for your order to be freshly made. With your cronuts coming out warm it is well worth the wait. The pricing is great too! My family is looking forward to going again soon!! We tried 8 different creations and all were phenomenal. I can honestly say they were all delicous.
Great place! The keto donuts are the Bomb! 😍 Coffee is SO MUCH better than Starbucks and the people are super friendly! Good service
Amazing doughnuts! We had the turtle cheesecake, after being told how wonderful it was! Even with high expectations, it was incredible! My wife said she’s “ruined for life”. We will NEVER find another doughnut place as good as this one. We are going to have to plan another trip from TN just to get another doughnut! I see why almost everyone that came in got a dozen or more!!
Great staff with great food and drinks.Love the atmosphere
My son surprised me with a visit to this Parlor Doughnut place. All he could say was I will like the place. Well... I LOVED it and could go on and on all day about this place. WOW! I crave these delicious deluctables. Pase go and treat yourself. You are worth it! ❤
I have been twice. Raspberry filled is my favorite. It is the only filled doughnut. The Frech Toast is the most popular. Donut Bank is still my favorite. Over $5.00 for two doughnuts at Parlor. They are huge, however..
So good maple bacon & french toast are my favorites.
