This is a really cool store! Good vibe, and all the staff were very helpful and helped look up some things I was looking for. Its nice knowing that theres a music store that you can go to and actually buys CDs tapes and records again! These guys are awesome!!! I started collecting vinyl about 2 years ago and they are always my first stop! Great selection of original vinyls, always in great condition! But if for whatever reason you find something that doesnt play perfect they dont hesitate to refund/exchange it for you no questions asked! Great conversation, very knowledgeable, and great selection of music and movies! What more could you ask for?

Such a gem, I wish I lived closer. So few of these vaults of physical music left. Nothing like flipping through the records and benefiting from the owner’s friendly passion for music.

Great place for hard to find vinyl. Youll spend a lot of time, but not an enormous amount of money, to find those gems. A little skinny on the Led Zeppelin but the rest of my misspent youth was captured. A living time capsule.

Great selection, a bit of everything. If you cant find something you want youll find the other thing you wanted without even realizing you wanted it in the first place.

This has to be the rudest store in Everett. At least half the time. Go there when the southern charm guy is working and you will leave thinking it is the most wonderful store. Friendly, appreciative, positive, chatty and all around interested in doing a good job. But go when the other guy is working and just walking into the store is enough to earn you an angry look from him, and a scolding that you have ten minutes left to shop. No customer service skills and not the least bit interested in you. Everett is a pretty chilly place but the attitude I have seen spewed out at this shop is more akin to intentional rudeness and contempt for customers. It isnt worth the trip, or the price.

I cannot understand why you would buy online when places like this exist. Amazing selection and amazing staff. If you buy online you only slightly understand what vinyl is all about. Get out and visit this place you will be glad you did. Found some Doors and Blue Oyster Cult to name a few. The staff is so friendly and inviting I instantly felt like I had shop there for years and it was my first visit. Support local they do it right!

I love this store, always great prices and selection. There is also the guarantee where the records must sound as good as I want to, or a no questions asked refund. The thing is, I don’t see myself using it any time soon. The records I get from here have always sounded as good as new! Much better than thrift stores and other shops I’ve been to.

These folks are very knowledgeable regarding all genera of music and films. What a great place to browse, pick up some new/old stuff and to off-load any that you are done with. Just a great throwback to the neighborhood record or movie shops. Excellent vibe every time.

Love this place! Lots of high quality records. Most of the ones Ive bought here have played great with no warp and few skips and scratches. Ive found some treausres in the 99 cent bin too! My only complaint is that the premium priced vinyls can be a bit spendy; its easy for me to buy 4 LPs for $60, easy. But I understand why they are priced the way they are, and Im willing to pay to keep this Everett gem alive and maintain the stellar customer service and selection Ive come to enjoy.

Unbelievable record selection and great prices. The owner was very friendly and grateful for the business. Gives great deals, and dont look past the 25 and 50 cent bins. Some real jewels in there. If a record skips or wont play for some reason he will take it back no questions asked for life. Highly recommend you go spend an hour or two just browsing. Great way to spend a sunday afternoon.

I have been coming to Gordys store since I was a small child in my dads tow. The best record store I have ever been to, full of true treasures and character. Gordy has a heart of gold and knows how to make each customer feel special. Highly recommend!

Good selection and good rotation, large chunks of the alphabet will come up 1/2 off on a regular basis so if you see something priced higher than you want to pay just keep coming back and if it hasnt sold itll be half off before long. Cool stuff!

Great place for buying records, 1/2 price all vinyl except $0.99 ones. Had a lot of selection and a lot of classic albums. Service was good too, the man who was working was very helpful and nice.Definately will return.

The owners were extremely knowledgeable of all genres and were willing to sell me a poster that I saw up on the wall. The music playing in the store made me use my Shazam app several times to see that these songs Ive heard all my life but never new the name of. I came in with my brother empty-handed and we both left with our arms filled with cherished items.

They have a very wide selection of stuff. Prices are reasonable but you need to pick through stuff. It is all alphabetized but that is it. No artist names so you need to go in with some ideas. The only complaint I would have is there is just too much stuff shoved everywhere. Other than that you can score some good finds there at reasonable prices.

This place is amazing! The prices are insanely good! I could have spent hours and 100s of dollars if only my three kids would have cooperated 🤩😍 the owner was super sweet and he needs traffic so come stop by and pick up a record or cd and support an awesome pillar of the community!

The guy running the shop knew about every single thing he carried in the store. Extremely kind, helpful, knowledgeable and energetic. Incredible selection of music on vinyl and disc, prices were the same or better than Amazon, but without the wait. Also the 100% guarantee on everything is unconditional, being able to bring in discs without a receipt is awesome. Ill be there every week from this day fourth.

Love a good record store. Dont come here looking for bargains though, anything of value is marked up above its value. The gentleman behind the counter was surly and rude and definitely not open for questions.

Great selection of music, whether it be on vinyl, wax, or plastic, you could probably find it here. The prices seemed a bit high, but maybe they have a high overhead. Not so overpriced that I wouldnt patronize this establishment. Its a good place to waste time either way.

This is my favorite record store. Every time I go in Gordon is always very friendly and helpful. He knows his stock more than any other record store I have ever seen. Even if you ask for obscure items he will know if he has it, or be able to find out really quickly. His warranty is also unheard of, he shows that he really wants to keep your business. He will even repair a record that is not playing up to par if you dont want to return it.**To the person who was upset that Gordon tried to mitigate his losses after their own kid stole their music collection and sold it to Gordon, what do you expect? Why not try and shake down your kid and report him to the police for theft to get the money back? You lack some major parenting skills. Gordon was offering a deal anyways, its not his fault you are failures as parents.**

I stopped in here the other day after work. This place is a stereotypical, classic record store- a true diamond in the rough. You walk in and its vinyl from floor to ceiling, wall to wall. Old faded posters on the wall, aisles packed full vinyl crates, then theres awesome old vinyl guru with white hair and a bandanna working behind the counter, you get the idea.Anyways, I stopped by because I just recently got my record player and hi-fi system setup and had some questions for the owner. He was helpful and knowledgeable, and I will definitely be stopping by here more often.
