My husband and I are impressed with the quality of both the service we received and the security door they installed. We live on the third floor and the installers did a great job and never complained about the stairs. The installation was completed quickly and the job was done with pride of workmanship. The door is awesome!

Had a sales rep come and size out my windows, told them what I wanted, and was told they would be getting back to me. 5 weeks later I was still waiting on a call. Called the main office and they apologized and said they would “get on the rep” to call back.. another week passed and still have not heard back from them. Very disappointed in a company that I thought was reputable and I could trust based on the many years they have serviced the area.

In June, 2020, we agreed to have Evergreen Door & Windows replace/install ½ of our windows (total of 13) with a plan to have the other ½ installed this year (2021). We were told by the salesperson, that the windows were a replacement job and not a complete tear out. We signed an agreement for $11,155.00. Evergreen sent out one of their installers to take final measurements and he told us the windows could not be replaced using the existing inside trim because the windows had a rabbeted window trim. We were then told the windows would cost $14,232.00 instead of $11,155.00. We believed what we were told. We trusted them. When we were ready for the second phase this year, we had Evergreen and another company give us an estimate. We found out when we went with the other company that the windows are not rabbeted window trim. We believe Evergreen defrauded us and feel they owe us the difference in price of $3,077. When I contacted Kevin in the office his response was, you paid for a job that was completed.” I disagree, I consider this fraud. Although we are happy with the windows, we paid for a service that was not needed and deserve a refund.

I had (2) storm doors installed by Evergreen Door & Window, and I couldn’t be more happy with the doors. They first told me it would be about 12 week wait time to have more doors made, but I received a call in about a month to have them installed! Installation went very well, and the doors came out flawlessly. They even repaired a part of my door that was not related to the storm door installation just so it could look nice and presentable. Highly recommend these guys for your door needs.

Evergreen Door was a great company to work with. As soon as we met with Tony Seminetta we just felt comfortable with them handling our project. This is our 1st house and the first time we ever did any upgrades. You hear all the horror stories from others that have worked with Contractors so we were very skittish. Tony gave us great advice that applied to our personal project. Due to the size of the project we had, following his advice actually helped our budget in the process and are blown away with the results. We own a Tudor style brick home. It has all the classic features INCLUDING round top doors. It is VERY difficult to replace a round top storm door but Evergreen did it! We were able to replace our vary dated storm door with a sleek, modern, energy efficient door and could not be happier.

Worst experience with a company.... EVER. Tony came to my house and treated my 80 year old mother with disrespect. Talked down to her and constantly used foul language. Love my storm doors! A friend recommended Evergreen Door & Window to replace 2 storm doors. Everyone was extremely professional and the installer did an excellent job. I was referred to Evergreen Door and Window by a friend of mine. Her doors looked amazing so I decided to give them a try. I was very impressed by the patience extended during our initial visit by the salesperson. He stepped us through the various options available ( a TON) and made recommendations on colors which would match the exterior of our home. We decided to order two exterior doors. Now enter the pandemic. Our 6-8wk quote was pushed out to 12 wks, but hey - it’s a pandemic - not the businesses fault. Ergo why they are still receiving a 5 star rating. The follow- up from staff as I called for updates was timely and I was able to speak with the owner during my last update who even went so far as to call me from his cell phones because all the business lines were occupied and he wanted to make sure to get back to me in the time he quoted.Next come installation - absolutely amazing. Both doors are beautiful and our installer gave suggestions as to how to make adjustments to ensure our doors worked best for us. Storm doors - good storm doors - are expensive so make sure you pick a quality company and I highly recommend this one!

My experience was pain free from beginning to end. The sales person was very knowledgeable as was the installer. I was shocked to receive touch up paint for the just in cases. The installer also made sure to tell me what kind of oil to use on the hinges and when to apply it. My experience was great!! The doors are beautiful!!

Some of the sales people definitely try too hard to oversell and push things we didnt need for our house but overall the team sent out to do the job was honest and did the siding/gutter job flawlessly!We will definitely keep coming back to Evergreen D&W!

I live in a friendly diverse neighborhood, and I called this company to get an estimate on a storm door. The person I talked to told me that his company doesnt serve people like me in my community due to a fear of violence. My family has lived in the Hyde park/ Woodlawn community for decades and are well known for our public service, and for a company to show such prejudice to me and the peaceful, family oriented neighborhood I live in is appalling.

Asked for a window quote and received nothing detailed - only received one price for all six windows. When I requested Specs and details on the window quality I received an email stating that the price would be only if they installed all 6 windows and they needed to be done together, NO specs.Is it too much to ask for some details on what you are buying? Like Wood, Vinyl, Alum. Etc?Giving up on this company, 60 years is long enough, too bitter, let it go.Mike K, You are really bad at sales, maybe you should work in the shop sweeping the floor making minimum wage!

The installer was focused and very professional. It was a cold day, however his work was exceptional and looks good. He inspected his work and had me inspect also. He asked if I had questions with what was done. He would definitely be the person I would ask for to handle all of my repair and or installations. Evergreen Door & Window did not disappoint me. I would use them again.

When I had received some misinformation from my condo board about a permit issue, a representative from Evergreen actually called the village and corrected the error. The installers when efficient and neat. Was a really good experience from start to finish.

Unfortunately, I have to give this place 3 stars. I was very excited to work with a local company with good reviews but I had issues with installation. Still trying to get a definition of all new construction regarding new doors. Sales rep, who was great, gave the impression that rotting wood from exposure to rain would be replaced hence new construction. It wasnt, the door jamb was just capped over. Wood on the outside of the door jamb, that was rotting at the base, was not replaced. This means I would have to replace it, by undoing the work they just did. They agreed to replace it without much hassel in a few days but I did have to call back after not hearing from anyone for over a week. The wood was not replaced, it was capped but it was done. There is a lot of caulk involved when it comes to capping. Im interested to see how it holds up over time.

Im extremely excited about ordering new doors with Evergreen Doors & Windows. The salesman, Adam, was very professional and offered several discounts that brought down the costs of my project. I made a final decision to go with this company based on the fact that he invited me to the store to see various styles and colors of what I wanted to buy. Other door companies were overpriced and couldnt provide the full door only a sample held inside a door bag. At the end of the presentations a couple door companies made me feel as though I was being taken advantage of ($10,000) was a ridiculous price for 2 doors & frame but Evergreen made me feel comfortable with their prices.

I received a quote and a layout of a door plan from the salesperson, Dan. I agreed to move forward and then I never heard from him again. Ever. I called the office and left messages, called his cell, sent texts ... nothing. I requested another salesperson so that the job could move forward. Nothing. Very disappointing.12/1/2020: Response to the company’s response - I am located in Chicago. I find it disheartening that you would respond to a Google review and clearly you haven’t checked with Dan to see if he followed up with his leads. I left messages with people in office and I still haven’t received a call. Just admit that you didn’t want to do the job.I’m in CHICAGO!!!!!!!! Born and raised. Follow up with any unresolved quotes. Give me a call back and I’ll consider rewriting the review.

The quality of work by the installers was excellent. They were professional and fast, plus respectful. They were conscious of my cats not running out the door and placed a carton as a barrier. Im at awe with the final result. I had four doors installed, and Im completely satisfied. I will definitely contract them again. I already been recommending them to my family.

I had several other estimates but with apprehension (I was not door buying savvy) I chose Evergreen.Ive had my doors (exterior entry door and full view storm door) for a few months and I am quite pleased. They seems structurally sound. The installation was very well done. My installer was thoroughly, friendly and neat. He cleaned up very well after himself as he went along.I really love how eye-catching the doors are. They have really improved my curb appeal. Still, the best part for me was the customer service. I had a salesman come out and give me an estimate but I didnt receive the hand holding I needed. As a door buying novice, I needed lots of details and info. So I popped in the store on 95th one Saturday and Mike was VERY thorough. He asked me more questions and I had more choices to make but Mike helped me every step of the way. He even came buy for my final measurement and color selections. While only long term will tell the complete story, for now I am very pleased and feel very confident that if a problem comes up, Evergreen will be quick to address and correct whatever comes.

I would HIGHLY recommend Evergreen Door & Window. We needed to replace 23 windows, including 2 very large picture windows, in our 1946 home. Our salesman, Mike, came to our home and spent 2 hours guiding us through our options. Next we went to their showroom to look at entry doors and storm doors - he was extremely helpful explaining it all to us. One more home visit for exact measurements and the order was in. Day of installation was amazing-3 workers, fast, quiet, with impeccable cleanup-all in 7 hours for 23 windows. The next week Marion and Marion installed our 2 sets of doors-the time and effort they put into the hanging and trim work was amazing. Even our post installation permit inspector commented on what a good job ED&W did-caulking and trim work was great on windows and doors. We went with Sunrise vinyl windows,Albany entry doors, and ProVia storm doors and are so pleased with both brands.We can already tell the difference in how quiet the new windows make the house, esp since we live on a busy street. He wasnt pushy, explained all of their products and steered us in the right direction. We decided on our windows and storm door. We werent pushed to buy anything we didnt need. This review is based on the work performed by this company for my elderly family member. The springs have come off the framework twice with the last event causing damage to a vehicle. (Simply running a retaining rope through the springs would have prevented these problems). It was later discovered that the framework was apparently bent during the installation of one of the pulleys (or to facilitate the installation of one of the pulleys), which led to the last spring coming off. Based on my interaction with the representative of this company, I would never have hired Evergreen Door & Window.

Evergreen Door and Window did such a great job replacing all of our windows in our house that it made good sense to get our entry doors from them too. When I saw the SALE sign in the window one day as I was driving by I figured that it was a good time check them out again. The same salesman that sold us our windows took care of our doors. The price was right and the guys that installed the doors did an exemplary job. The doors, just like the windows, make our home look so much better.

I only wish I had known these people when I had work done in a previous residence several years ago! In my previous experience, the company I used rushed me through the process, got the door measurements wrong, left a complete mess and never fixed their mistakes. I ended up selling that home as is. So, the idea of getting new windows and doors for my current residence was intimidating, to put it mildly. I visited their showroom first and they made me feel very comfortable. There was no pressure and they let me take my time making sure my questions were answered. In-home estimates are free, so that helps. They do what they say, when they say theyll do it. People of skill and integrity! No unwanted surprises! I would recommend them, especially since they use their own installers.

Started with adoor 6 years, changed out windows and door 3 years ago, and now have had new roofing, siding, awnings and new garage entry way door. I keep coming back to Evergreen because of the quality of work and service This last time was the most coordinated effort required by them. Victor, our salesman, Andy lead guy on the roofing and siding crew, Marion our door installer, and Jim the awning guy, have my highest praise and thanks. Great team! My salesman was very helpful and patient while I was picking out the entry doors. My doors arrived in the timeframe as promised. LOVE MY NEW STORM DOOR AND ENTRY DOOR. Great people to work with until you need help. Spent over 10,000.00 with these people and one of doors has issues. They want to charge 100.00 to come out and look. Guess where my next business need wont be going. Already in contact with the company that made the door. Very disappointed.

We just had all the upstairs windows done in our home. We absolutely love them! The installation was smooth and quick. The installers were fantastic and helpful as well as considerate of our house. The mess was minimal and installers were helpful with any questions we had. Jim our sales guy has been fantastic as well. He always comes to check on the job after it is done and we have ordered our front living room windows now! Looking forward to those. We definitely recommend this company. From sales person Jim to al the installers we have encountered with our front door and back door installation and now our windows we have been more than happy! 5+ stars for sure. Highly recommend.

Salesman was great - not pushy! Installers did a great job on the woodwork. I was concerned about my kitchen window because it was tight quarters with no room for error. They did an amazing job. Installers worked nonstop and cleaned up after themselves. If it hadnt been for the woman in customer service, I would have given a 5 star rating. She clearly does not know how to treat customers and this clearly will be a factor as to whether or not Irefer this company to my neighbors who still have original windows.

I had my windows measured and made a payment of $1,200 to Evergreen Door, on JULY 23rd. Installer came and remeasured...he smelled like smoke and rude.....Just yesterday I received a check from from Evergreen with no explanation. SAll along we have been waiting to hear that our window was being created....well I guess that check means we arent getting our windows? Maybe Ill get a call from Evergreen to hear their explanation.
