Parking lot is a little crazy in this shopping center (but that is subjective I guess...)This Safeway has a pretty good selection of grocery items, but is on the smaller side (I feel like most grocery stores are a bit smaller here on Island though). I cant always find everything... I cook with a lot of Mexican flavors and sometimes I cant find certain things like that, but for a smaller store, they truly do have a good assortment of items. Also, the lady who was my cashier was probably the nicest person I have ever met. She was awesome.

We travel from Mililani to Ewa to visit this Safeway. Pharmacist Marissa is the best! The store is clean and uncrowded. They have the best soups. The deli and bakery have terrific varieties. The staff is beyond helpful and pleasant to boot. Worth a little extra driving for the quality we get. This store deserves an award!

Store is always clean and pretty well stock

Nice and clean place. Very open and a wide variety of local and imported items. Beautiful flower selections for holidays and easy navigation around the store. No bathroom access though so dont expect that while shopping around. Meat and seafood selection is pretty good. Would recommend shopping there and becoming a member especially for their deals, i.e. $5 Fridays

Can always improve on stocking. Has most grocery necessities. Stocking is good, but sometimes items not always stocked

The poke in Safeway is the best, come around 7am to 8 something and get a hold of poke.My go to spot on a daily routine with Starbucks around the corner, with holiday flavors

Safeway in Ewa Beach, Hawaii has excellent customer service. Many of their checkout personnel leave you smiling. It’s one of the better places to purchase produce. Some of their baking goods have supply shortages from time to time, but that could be stretto the COVID pandemic. Food prices are indeed high here in Oahu, but their prices seem fairly consistent. Their bread section could use some help when supplies are low as it tends to look messy and disorganized. Overall, I like shopping there.

Always very clean each time I visit. Organized aisles and clean arrangements of fruits snd vegetables. The food prices are extra high though, especially fruits and vegetables which are what I go there for. Always breaks my budget but a must ... sigh!

The cashiers at this location arent very customer oriented. The Safeway app helps lower prices.

They haven’t had carts to use the past three times I have been here. The bakery never has doughnuts after 9AM. Their poke is levels below other grocery stores on the island. I can get cheaper soda at Target. Sad to say the only thing this place has going for it is the gas prices.

Other than being a very clean and well stocked store, Oh! and lets not forget....their awesome and friendly store associates with their bright smiles and excellent customer service.When i think of Safeway, the first thing that comes to mind is, FRESHNESS. Everything edible at its very best and that is what keeps me coming back to shop.

Its a super clean store. They tend to carry a variety of organic products and hard to find items. Even some brands that you cant find other places. But unfortunately they are super high priced on their products by usually about 10-15% compared to other local competitors in and around the area, not including if plan ahead an order on Amazon or use Amazon subscriptions services for some items. Produce is always one of the freshest I find while shopping around. Prices are higher than those of the Commissary if you have commissary access but when in a pinch and instead of driving to Schofield, Pearl Harbor, or Hickam AFB, it’s good in a hurry.

Standard grocery store. For some reason the bakery seems to use a lot of refined sugar (way to much) for their baked goods, making them taste fake. To also be fair, theyre not the only ones that are like that. On the other hand, the bakery has great breads of various types, cant go wrong with any of them.

They always have everything. There prices have gone up though

Easy to navigate and an extensive liquor collection not to mention THEY HAVE CHILLED BEER! Really is the only place I ever go for pretty much anything and their produce department is very vast and all fresh. I dont have a single negative thing to say about this store.

I went to the Safeway in Ewa Beach; the clerks there display excellent customer service!! I was standing/waiting in this one line, and this one cashier asked me to step to her register; she could help me. Stepping to her register, #8, she greeted me, and asked me how was my day. Her name is Shelly. She asked me if I found everything I needed. I did ask her a couple of questions, and we both laughed. Shelly has a good heart, a wonderful Spirit, and a beautiful smile. Yes, I know we wear mask, but you can tell if someone is smiling!! As I stepped away, I asked for the manager; her name is Gina. She is pleasant, too. I had to tell her about my experience with Shelly!!! And I received a reward! GOD IS Awesome!!We are quick to speak to the manager when we have a complaint, but we could be quicker to speak to the manager when we have a good/great/pleasant experience in an establishment. Mahalo nui loa Shelly and Gina for making my day!!Also, this Safeway still sanitizes their carts...an added plus!!

Quick checkout and good selection on groceries. Safeway never fails to provide exactly what I would expect in a grocery store.

Its Safeway. Has most of what you need. This location is larger and newer than others in Hawaii. It has decently fresh produce and meat. Dairy and frozen aisles are sufficient. Mostly national brands, some regional (I see a lot of products and brands from California, where Safeway is based) and to a lesser extent local Hawaiian brands (which tend to be a little pricier than even WF in town). The beer selection is pretty good for a supermarket in Hawaii. Local and national craft and macro brews always kept ice cold. Wine is also pretty good selection for the island. Make sure you check their weekly ad from Midweek or the safeway app to get some pretty good deals. They also get their freshest meat/produce after Wednesday as thats when the cargo arrives from California.

I have had problems with the bad service at the check out with the cashiers being rude on several occasions. Some of the customers were very rude walk into u & keep walking not one of them says excuse me. If u dont mind rude customers or cashiers then it ok I guess

Very nice store, they have a large selection of groceries and household essentials. Safeway in general is a bit pricey but they have many products and brands that other grocers dont carry.

I don’t normally write reviews but here goes, love this Safeway, the Starbucks girl today was extra superb, I believe her name is Nena. She was awesome, I would’ve given 5 stars but the home girl at floral this morning was extra grumpy.

Went in, got what I needed but today the store was freezing. I ended up leaving without a few things I wanted (yogurt, avocados, and bread because I couldnt handle the cold). Its usually very comfortable. Today was unusual. Overall, great variety but can be pricey if you dont use the app or weekly inserts etc.

They have a good selection of name brand merchandise and the store is kept clean. My biggest concern is that everything is priced much higher compared to many other stores.

I guess for Hawaii the prices are right me coming from the states to price was very expensive a bag of potato chips $5 when theyre normally

Went to pick up a couple of sandwiches from the Deli to take to the beach. Keep in mind the 6 inch sandwiches are $7.99 each. Almost every type of bread I wanted was sold out at 10:15 am and they only had lettuce / tomatoes for the selection of vegetables that was from the day before. Everything else was out. Although the older lady working there had no customer service what so ever, I still got the one sandwich and decided not to get the other sandwich that I needed. I will definitely go to Subway the next time aroumd.
