Friendly staff deli was quick to help. Meat was fresh. Nice that if you vaccinated your not forced to wear the mask which is useless. People need to quit crying over that! Keep up the awesome work guys!!

There is a stark difference between this location and the one closest to it in Kearney, MO. Why is that? I went in yesterday to buy ground beef where all of it was kept in coolers with doors and almost most all of it was turning grayish green. You would never see that in the Kearmey location. Also, all the food is scarce looking, they have no deli that serves all kinds of hot gourmet food like the one in Kearney. Price chopper is twice as expensive as Walmart and it should be twice as nice. It should be a more high end experience like the one in Kearney 8 miles away.

Visiting town as my mother died and I stayed at her house which is in Excelsior Springs; the store was a mess as they are under much needed construction. The store employees are very, very friendly !!!

I havent been here in years, but I love the layout and the small town grocery store vibe here. They have an excellent selection of just about everything considering they are a smaller store. I would really recommend they update their checkouts to have more than 8 lanes though--even when all 8 are open, lines can build up when they have sales going on (the reason I was there), and there is enough room to add at least 2 or 3 more checkouts if they were to modernize them.

Ive been going there for quite some time several employees know my name and theyre very friendly in there. When I just got out of the hospital the staff knew about it, they even carried my groceries out to my car and put it in my car for me and they wouldnt take a tip from me. So thank you Stephen for taking care of me its very much appreciated

Layout of the store makes shopping easy and convenient. Most of the staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. Theres a couple staff that work behind the counter that I think are very rude. But overall I like shopping at Price Chopper.

Most grocery stores are grocery stores. This review focuses on the deli and salad bar: Excellent, fresh salad bar. Fancier, Whole Foods-type grocery stores have BIGGER salad bars, but not *better*... The sliced bell peppers were crunchy enough to snap, not bend. Yay! And wonderful sliced Rotisserie turkey breast available from the deli counter.. . An easy, healthy option for a quick meal--which is exactly what I was looking for.

I am an avid coffee drinker. I got into to drinking instant coffee when my wife threw out my coffee machine to clear up space .. so a good friend of mine gave me some instant coffee from England. From what I was told that’s a very common way to make coffee over there. And I found that it was a great way to make coffee bc of the convenience aspect. Unfortunately tho after awhile regular instant coffee wasn’t strong enough. Thankfully this Price Chopper sells instant espresso. Love it. Spoon full of espresso a small cup of milk and two spoons of sugar and you’ve got Starbucks right at home. And it’s only $4 for a container that will last you two weeks. Way cheaper than Starbucks.. Please never get rid of the instant espresso. I hope somehow it is able to catch on a lot more. (StarBucks is great but this is a great for someone on a much smaller budget. Hey, We’re all trying to live the dream!)

Best meat and produce in town. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Love the lowest price guarantee, and the deli is awesome on those nights I dont want to cook. My son prefers their fried chicken to anyones!

This is a nice clean store with lots of items in it. I was able to find everything on my list as well as some extra things.

Being a vendor and having our product on their shelves is one thing, but going out of their way is another. Craig in specialty foods did just that today. The girls in pricing did an outstanding job as well. If this is any indication of how this store is run then i am glad that our company is part of it. I would really love for someone to see this, I don’t normally write reviews but this was terrible service in the deli. A guy that was moving like a sloth would not communicate with me at all. I asked if he could help me and he said he can’t. I said why not he never responded, he would not talk at all or look at me and looked like he hated his life. Sorry but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had

Used to work here. But I still shop at price chopper. Not a fan of the corporate office. Dont appreciate the workers very well. They are grossly under paid. So dont give them a hard time, they do their best with the situation. You be nice and they will treat you right

My favorite thing to get at Price Chopper is Shatto Milk! They have a great selection of food. Its a plus they have a deli. They also have an area that you can sit down and eat.

Its a decent grocery store pretty standard the hot food section is medicore. The women working there that served us food was happy to be quitting soon.

This Price Chopper in Excelsior Springs is the dirtiest store I have been in! I noticed the dairy products go bad fast! Before the exp date. At Christmas time I had to take back bad cream cheese. The frozen meat has been freezer burnt on 2 occasions. Last summer, there were so many Pnats in the produce section you couldnt stand to be there! High prices too! I go to Liberty to do my shopping now. This store needs a TOTAL REVAMP!

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THEIR FLORAL DEPARTMENT! We went to pickup a corsage we had ordered for my son on Friday Feburary 8th. The corsage was for the Tim Tebow foundation event Night to Shine. The floral manager had canceled the order just because school had been canceled. My son is 19 and NOT in school. We never said this was for a school event, she just assumed, and you know what they say about ASSuming. She said there was no phone number listed when I asked why no one called before canceling the order. She said one wasnt listed but my son said he filled out the order with his number. So they lied about that. I WILL NEVER GET FLOWERS FROM THEM EVER AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE NOT TO! Since we had to wait for them to make the corsage he was Late for his dinner date!

Sometimes has really decent deals that may be cheaper than Wal-Mart. Otherwise prices are generally higher. They do generally have various brands that Wal-Mart may not have. Never enough checkers though.

I only stopped in briefly to grab a bite from the salad bar. I dont know how you screw up a salad bar but it was pretty middling. The soup tasted like it was 2016 vintage. I paid $6.50 a pound for leftover quality.
