I dont know where to start. I am sending a huge shout out to Nicole and Crystal at Exeter Paint. We bought a 1950 style cape last January. We have spent the last 8 months renovating the first floor on our own. We opened up the dining/kitchen area which were closed off. Between, paint, wallpaper and tile, Exeter Paint was my go to place for advise on how to bring the renovations I had in my mind to a reality. They have great contractors for tile and wallpaper and we were extremely happy with the end result. Could not recommend them more. It was an amazing experience every step of the way. I have done business with this company for many years. I just completed a kitchen remodel that I am thrilled about! I have always felt that the communication was excellent and the prices I was charged for labor and materials was very fair. The subs do excellent work and they were careful with their surroundings at my cottage. I got many quotes and the other contractors were higher. The owner cares deeply about her customers! Forget the bad review I see, it seems personal. Many other 5 star reviews to read!

I highly recommend Exeter Paint Transform & Design! They walked me through the entire process, step by step, were extremely communicative and responsive during my recent kitchen re-do. This store is so much more than a paint store, the woman here have helped me from start to finish on a remodel I was doing, the knowledge alone is worth the trip they didn’t just try to sell me everything, even when I put something on the counter they explained to me why it was a great tool or not the trust I have for them is key it feels like a family there. They are always doing so much for the town, raising money for kids to eat at lunch, collecting personal supplies for the homeless shelter in town. No matter what budget you have they will work with you I can’t wait to work on our next project I’m bringing in my screens to be worked on tomorrow . Thank you Exeter Paint

The exeter paint team is amazing. Ive had the pleasure of not only shopping there for years but working with them too. Theyre kind, fun and super knowledgeable about their trade. The window treatments, the flooring, the countertop, the tile, the LVT, the paint, the stain, the color matching and color consults...the list keeps going. They do it all and They KNOW their stuff. They do their best to take care of their customers but also their employees and make sure everyone is happy.You wont find the kind of service and personal touch they provide at any boxstore with a million employees. They are amazing people and are a hardworking small business.

A terrible experience working with this company/owner ultimately ending in unfinished work and damages to many parts of our home, property, and belongings. Watch out for hidden costs, high mark ups to materials and some of the sketchy subcontractors. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Nicole, who has owned Exeter Paint for 20 years, is the MOST HELPFUL business owner. She always strives to satisfy and exceed her customers expectations. The store itself is well organized and very clean. I have been in other area paint stores and the condition of the store was dismal. The best thing is that her expertise goes beyond color consults and providing paint, as she also offers all types of tile, carpeting, and flooring, needed for remodeling your home as well. Her team is super helpful and knowledgeable as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!

Nicole, the owner, is the rudest, most disrespectful small business owner that Ive ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Interrupted me every single time I tried to say something, whilst in a condescending tone. Horrid business practice, horrid customer service (although employees were absolutely amazing).We were given samples of paint that were a particular color. Liked one of them, so we ordered 2 gallons of paint and were given the wrong color. Exeter paint, for some reason, entered two different paints as the same exact color. Why? Couldnt tell you because Nicole didnt take any responsibility for it. She said herself, the only paint color identifier that has two paints the same name. So we picked the paint up, gave it to the painter, and hours later came to find out it was a different color.Painter was great, charged us a more because of the work he did (understandable!). When I discussed this with Nicole, she blamed the painter. Even when I stated multiple times (maybe she didnt hear me because she kept interrupting me) that we were responsible for giving our painter the paint. I asked even for a marginal store credit, and it was shot down we put a disclaimer at the bottom of our receipt etc etc. Even when we got a sample, REQUESTED THE SAME PAINT, and were given a DIFFERENT COLOR. The time, hassle, I live 40 mins away, etc etc., nothing mattered to Nicole. Didnt ask, apologize, my hassle was of no concern to her. And for that reason, I will never be purchasing paint from Exeter paint again.Im so unhappy with the customer service, this is the first review Ive ever written online too for anyone wondering.

This is probably the most helpful paint store Ive walked into. Every time Ive had questions about a finish, a color, or application the people at Exeter paint have been more then helpful. Besides, the service the prices on their private label paint not only beats the big box prices but it is also a much higher quality paint.

I cannot say enough about this store. We are in the process of huge changes to our home. Kinda making myself crazy with wall color and carpet selection. Then throw in changing my kitchen counter tops. Nicole, Emma and Crystal have been SO helpful and patient. I would recommend Exeter Paint Shop hands down to anyone!

Our kitchen just turned 20 years old, the maple cabinets were actually still in excellent shape, but they were in need of a fresh look.I went into Exeter Paint Store before I started the somewhat daunting project of refinishing all of the cabinets and repainting the walls. The staff is very personable and helpful! I was given a lot of good advice and positive direction from them about the refinishing of the cabinets, and the products they recommended were excellent! It took me about 2 weeks from start to finish, and we are all now very happy with our new kitchen.I can highly recommend Exeter Paint Stores after this project!
