Truly the best moving company in New England. They do a lot of the moving jobs for URI, so they were the first company I thought of when I needed personal moving services. I have met many of their staff over the years. All of the staff (sales, office, managers, drivers, movers, etc.) are polite and professional. They are super efficient too. I hope I dont have to move again, but if I do, I am calling Astro!!!

Josh, Jared and Chris were amazing. They arrived on time and were happy to help my family move. Josh was the lead and he was professional. My move was was set up with Lynne who was very thorough, understanding and gave me a reasonably priced quote that the movers abided by in timing. I highly recommend this company.

My move went very smoothly last Tuesday, 5/28. Anthony, Julian, and Chris showed up on time and were fantastic from start to finish. They made sure everything fit into my storage unit and were very cautious with my things. Also, Astro booked my move very last minute (5 days notice) after Gentle Giant bailed on me.Gentle Giant also quoted me double what Astro ended up charging me. I’m shocked by the other reviews complaining about their prices. They were worth every penny.We will definitely be calling Astro again when it’s time to move into our next house.

Contrary to public sentiment, sometimes its just not good to go local. For our move I went local and called Astro of New England. Seemed like a nice company, good price, and Id prefer to support local business. Moving day came and it took much longer than expected. The time eventually came for me to pick up the kids from school, they were still unloading, and I couldnt maneuver my car around their truck. The mover said he had the same car and would do it for me. He hopped in and proceeded to sideswipe a tree. With a $1,000 deductible and even more damage to my car they not only refused to do the right thing, they sent me a bill for an additional 50% in moving fees. My background is in marketing I would tell any client that people today care about the brands they bring into their lives. Consumers are smart and care about what a company stands for. They are not an admirable organization. Theres a reason theyll be the lowest bid you receive but that doesnt mean it is what youll end up paying... trust me.

The whole team at Astro was incredible! Our movers (Nick, Joe and Joe) were very nice and professional gentlemen. They took special care of all of our belongings and did a tremendous job at moving everything to our new residence. Astro was on the money with their quote and finished the move exactly in the timeframe they said they would.I highly recommend their services to anyone! A+++

Bad experience!

I have recommended Chuck and Astro to many of my clients, They have always been happy with their services and pricing.

How does it cost $1,135.00 to move 4 rooms, 7.9 miles down the road a 20 minute drive with three guys and it takes 8 hours? How does this company stay in business charging prices like that? Do yourself a favor don’t get ripped off shop around!

There is NO other company i would prefer and trust more than astro! All of the workers that i had were phenomenal, they were very professional, on time, friendly, and they all had very wonderful personalities! Very strong young men that go above and beyond for you and your needs, they had positive attitudes the entire time, very funny and laid back men that definetly took some of the stress and anxiety off of my shoulders because the whole moving process is beyond stressful, but they came into my home and showed nothing but respect and made the move seem fun like they do this in their sleep! I will always recommend astro to everyone and anyone!

They came into my home to give an estimate, and wasnt judgemental at all. They we almost right on with the price estimate. In fact, we overpaid a little and will receive a small refund back! I had them send a couple of guys to help pack up some things before the loading the next day. They were awesome! On Sunday, the loading team arrived and every single one was professional and extremely helpful. Great attitudes, and made loading up a 3000 Sq ft home plus a garage and attic much less stressful! They worked well together and worked hard. My house was loaded up in no time! I even called Astros and asked about tipping, if it was a normal practice. They helped by figuring out a good range to tip. The guys at my house were very grateful for the pizzas I ordered for lunch, and for the tips I handed out. I would 100% go through them again to move. I have no regrets on who I chose to help us. There was another company with a lower estimate, but I just had a good feeling about using Astros.
