Clean, secure, great rates and even better customer service:I checked out several places before choosing Extra Space storage. Most places are outside and not climate controlled and took forever to respond back. Everyone at Extra Space storage has been awesome! Super friendly, polite and always helpful. When I called I worked with Anna was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to show me the various units and helped me chose one that would best suite my needs. I received an excellent introduction to Extra Space storage and was able to navigate on my own through all the places where my passcode was required. I have just moved and attempted to downsize beforehand. However, I can see that some non-essential items will eventually join my Christmas decorations in my newly acquired storage space. They should be comfortable there.

She immediately took note of my needs and assessed my situation perfectly. She listened and gave me the best unit for me and my family. I really appreciate her attentiveness and her efficiency. This storage facility is amazingly clean, safe and well managed. Most of it is below ground and completely dust free. OUTSTANDING!!!

Climate controlled units, but sort of a hassle... light switch situation for outside units is weird and the manager parks in a very inconvenient spot for loading into some of the units when theres tons of space to park thats not inches away from a unit. But you likely wont get stuck with those units because theyre occupied.

Gave us a bad gate code. Other customers were nice enough to let us in and out. When I called the number, nobody answered after hours but did tell me what my next payment was gonna be which is more than what they quoted me over the phone. So better check that tomorrow when they open. Also online prices way cheaper than when you call so kinda feel robbed now

Recently stumbled upon this facility for business purposes my boss and I love the fact we are paying so low compared to where we were before, Andrew was amazing And got us next to the elevator for easy access! I wish the parking was more accessible but other than that it’s great.

Staff is very friendly and informative. We were able to acquire a unit the same day. No contract needed this is a month to month service which is great! First impression: very clean inside and out of the building. I notice plenty of cameras throughout the hallways and on the entrances. The price will pay off for the safety of our items we are storing here.I would recommend if you want to have peace in mind.

Have used ES in two cities, and both were excellent. This is the second time we have rented space in the Fair Oaks location. Both times, the staff has been extremely helpful in selecting the right space, and giving us a great deal. The units are all well maintained, clean and the site security is excellent. It’s an indoor facility as well, with some climate controlled units. Great place

We are using the one of off fai oaks and sunrise.Everything is great. The only concern would be the parking. For loading and uploading purposes. It could get a little congested with the cars.

I had a great experience using Extra Space Storage, from start to finish! I initially came to this storage facility because I was referred by a friend. I received excellent customer service the day that I went in to get a storage unit. The process of renting a unit was easy & Jenny was very kind. I really like that the storage units are indoors, temperature controlled & video monitored. This gave me peace of mind as my belongings were stored here. I ended up using this facility for 9 months & never had a single problem. Every interaction that I had with the front desk was positive & Jenny was always helpful. The entire property was always clean each time I went there & they even have air fresheners in the hallway to keep the place smelling fresh. They also provide carts to help you move your things which made moving in & out so easy! This is by far the best experience that Ive had using a storage facility. I definitely recommend this place!

So, the morning of July 25th, I witnessed the employees of this Extra Space Storage bring out a we tow vehicles parked in this spot kind of sign from inside the office, prop it up in front of a car parked in front of their building, take pictures of the car with the sign in the background, have the car towed, and move the sign again.I took pictures of everything, the whole process. I called the non-emergency police line to complain about the employees, and they said they would send a sheriff out to interview me.In the meantime, the owners of the car came back for it. Apparently it had broken down a couple hours earlier, and they came back to jump it. They were understandably upset.Want to guess what the outcome of the whole thing was?First, the business employees lied and told the police that the car was parked there for several days (which it wasnt). Then they changed their story to saying the car was parked in two spaces (which, again, it wasnt, I had pictures). Unfortunately, though, the police stated it ultimately came down to the business being able to tow cars for whatever reason as they are parked on private property. So, despite photographic evidence of them being sneaky, and despite them outright lying to the police, they still came out on top. I honestly feel bad for the owners of the car that was towed.Anyway, long story short, the employees here lie and are sneaky. Take your business elsewhere.

I’ve been with this place for a few years now and never had a problem. Maybe it’s because a problem has never occurred until now. Sometimes you have to experience a problem in order to evaluate the performance of a company when an issue occurs, which I’m about to explain now.This morning I was going to my unit to donate more items to goodwill, but when I turned my key, the key broke off when it completely turned. I’ve broken toothpicks easier than this supposedly metal key.This lock is Extra Space Storages premium lock. Maybe it’s too strong for the key? Either way I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you DO NOT BUY this LOCK if you still decide to go with this company after my review.So usually storage facilities have emergency lines for managers right? Supposedly they do and I tried every single emergency line. All lines were directed to the manager that did not answer. I even tried the emergency line for if your trap in the gate. Imagine if that were the case. I would have been trapped until they were open!The worst part about this is I saw the employee (probably manager) drive away in their black car off the premises. So obviously they are here without answering their emergency line, which rang multiple times and left a voicemail.If your a person like me that wants a company that can handle emergency situations when they occur, this place is NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. This experience was not professional at all. Been here for an hour. Time is money and you’ve taken already an hour out of my day...Good thing I finally decided to use my carry handcuffs to lock the unit so I didn’t loose anymore time from work, which is money $$$.UPDATE: changed my star rating from one to a two. Went in when store was opened. Employee was nice to me and seemed to be shocked that she didn’t get a call or message. So it could be the companies phone system? Also, they gave me a good laugh calling me “handcuff guy”. Four stars for the employees I spoke to, one stars for the business. May need to change infrastructure for emergencies. If you don’t care about those type of things like I do, then go ahead with this company.

The customer service has been excellent. The facility is clean, well maintained, and the abilty to have a large truck make deliveries intoour storage conveniently for our interior design projects is a huge benefit.

Kristina was a pleasure to work with and got us situated in a great spot immediately!

I was looking for a storage place nearby and this was the first place to pop up in google. I read the reviews and made my decision based off that. I called to get a quote and the male who answered was very helpful and kind. The prices are very reasonable. I decided to go in the following day to check out the place. Jenny, the site supervisor came to greet me and showed me around. She was very friendly and kind. The facility is very clean well maintained. Would definitely recommend this place!

Im so glad I chose Extra Space over the other places I was considering!

I love this place. We were evacuated in the Paradise camp-fire, so we drove to sac to stay with a friend and stored our stuff here. The staff is really helpful, and the facility is super secure. Our things were safe, which was the peace of mind we needed, since everything else that we owned had burned up in that fire.

This is a big location. Its always clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

I have used this facility for the last 9 years. My unit was always very clean and the staff has always been helpful. Jenny, the manager has been particularly helpful and accommodating over the last couple of years. There were other extra space storage facilities closer to me, but I chose to go the extra distance because I felt like this one was better!

Zoom assisted me,,,, what a nice helpful lady.She explained every thing during the application process and gave me a tour and made sure I was familiar with the process with accessing my unit and made the security codes work. You might pay a bit more for space, but they go the extra mile to make sure you get what you paid for. the facility is completely secure, always meticulously clean, and after almost 6 years i have yet to see a single spider, bug or rodent. jenny is unbelievably friendly and always willing to help. she really brings it all together and i hope to see her for the next 6 years.

This storage facility is very nice. It is inside climate controlled and has elevators and hand carts. All of their equipment is in good repair. The facility is clean and the operators are professional. It is a little costly and the rent gets increased often. But it is really easy to grab a couple boxes or add stuff.

The facility is immaculate! It is by far the best customer service Ive received! Very attentive, efficient and pleasant. De Vaughn gave us a wonderful tour and several options of space to choose from. Everyone is so nice. Added bonus Is the dollies to help with your pick ups or drop offs.
