They dont even deserve the 1 star review. Would not let me in unless I left my purse at the front counter with them while I shopped.

Great locally owned outfitters and hardware store. Better than the Sportsmans Warehouse in town.

Love that store, has anything and everything that is big boy toys :-) gear guns fishing and right underneath is century hardware where you can get all sorts of different tools and accessories

Great place to buy your hunting, fishing, out door equipment and provisions. My son and grandkids favorite outfiter!

They were so quick to help and it was easy to get around. The front desk lady didnt know much but was very polite.

Lots to see great place

Dont buy your waders here. I bought some Hoogman Makenzie style waders, which were junk, and the manager would not give me a refund. Instead, he gave me an exchange--twice for the same junk waders. When I brought the second pair back, he essentially accused me of lying when I told him what happened with both pairs of waders. They were leaking within 3-4 hours. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. After taking the exchange twice, Im not bothering going back a third time since Ill just end up with an exchange for a junk product.

Great help, there employees are very knowledgeable on anything that they sell. Store has everything you need and a bunch of more things you want. I have honestly never had a bad experience once in the 5 years I been going there. Much nicer and better pricing then sportsman warehouse.

Not encouraging social distancing nor wearing masks.I would like to see more environmental friendly products and less harmful ways to kill animals.The floor in the lower level was soaking wet and slippery.

Great store. Lots of selection and has many items not carried by other Box stores around Fairbanks. Staff is helpful and personable, prices reasonably competitive. As far as Federally provided Food Stamps entitling you to a State discounted low-Income hunting license, they are completely separate criteria, and it is not up to an individual retailer to make exceptions when it comes to licensing fees. Give Frontier and try and you will be back. Support your local businesses.

My husband loves this place and I honestly dont mind coming here every weekend either. Heh.Frontier Outfitters has a very wide variety of goods - fishing, hunting, camping, clothes, knives, guns, canning, lodge cast iron goods, and so much more. My favorite thing here is all of the Lodge cast iron skillets and cook books and pans. My husband loves looking at the guns and knives. They have good boots and shoes here and a wide variety of womens and mens clothing to choose from too.The staff here are funny, helpful, and friendly. They have pretty good prices and so many things to look at. I swear I find something new every time we come here - believe me, its at least once every single weekend. And Im still loving it.

Not a big box retailer. I enjoy shopping here when Im looking for a more approachable staff. They give you the time to show and explain what ever you have questions on. Prices are reasonable and they carry all of the big brands you want to buy
