These people are awesome! If you dont want to bother with souvenir shops filled with Chinese garbage, come here! Almost everything in there is locally made in the area. I ended up buying a few more things than I had planned. Angel will also assist any out of towners by suggesting local attractions and businesses. I think I ended up talking to her for about an hour. Anyone visiting needs to check this place out!!

Loved the shop. Lots of Alaska themed gifts for those looking for something unique. Knife shop has many tools available to make your own knife. Mark and his wife were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Great people, great shop.

Some unique local items which is exactly what I was looking for. Incredibly friendly and willing to tell you about all the items they have. Very deceiving from the front, there are a lot of things to browse through in there! Got some pretty neat gifts to bring back to Massachusetts!

Great people in an awesome store! The were able to fix a handle on a hatchet that belonged to my father for years. Fantastic place for knife blanks and handle supplies. Its like walking into a museum with so much to see and explore! Highly recommend a visit, just to see the displays, but youll want to buy something. Very high quality materials.

Amazing place with a great selection of more than just knives. Lots of fossils from the area, furs, wood blocks for handles or wood working. Two black labs that greet you at the door with plush toys.🐶 Angel can answer all your questions about anything in the shop. But the obvious draw is Marks knives.

Amazing little store with some really cool artifacts. The knives they make are top notch! Was in awe the entire time. Also they had a ton of DIY stuff for people who want to make thier own knives. It was way cool to see all the specialty woods and blade blanks!

The mans a legend for a reason.

Stopped in to check out their ulu knives and were wowed by the selection of carefully curated local craft work and unique artifacts! From hand carved bone and antler items to fossils, hand crafted soaps, jewelry and more, we found the shop fascinating. Mrs. Knapf, who was incredibly gracious, allowed us to shop and freely touch the many pelts, furs and antlers. There was none of the stuffy look but dont touch that you find in many antique and artifact shops. Instead, she encouraged questions and spent time ensuring we knew the best places around town and what to do on our way to Chena Hot Springs.All in all a great place to shop, visit and chat with friendly locals! Highly recommend!

Can not even begin to say enough positive things about this place. Real people acting like real humans. Friendly, cordial and never did I fell like I was not worthy of being in the store because I was not buying an expensive knife.
