The owners are super friendly and personable. The store is packed with great items at reasonable prices that are hard to find elsewhere. The wife and I go there from across town for the self grown garlic alone!

Absolutely amazing place!! They have a wide variety of foods, tea, and some really cute dishes and silverware/chopsticks. There is some great looking produce you cant find at normal grocery stores. And the selection of frozen fish and other meats were fantastic! They had a wonderful and very sweet staff I will definitely be going back and letting as many people know about this place as possible.

Stopped in here over the weekend, the store has a nice selection of Korean food. They carry Kewpie Mayonnaise for anything specifically looking for it, and many types of mochi that are good. The store itself is a little larger than Pleasing Market down the road, but both are great places that carry many of the same things. The kimchi here is also very tasty.

The frozen fish I have gotten there has been excellent. This is one of the only places to get several kinda of whole, raw mackerel. Prices are more reasonable than getting it at Foremost seafood. Produce has been good and fresh too.

Every now and then it is time to expand your culinary skills. Had been buying frozen Trader Joes Scallion Pancakes and went on line and found Korean Pancake Mix. Hanguk Market sells this terrific product and so much more! It is clean, well organized and loaded with Korean food, cooking implements, dishes, frozen fish, unique teas, etc. If you are looking for new to you Korean flavors this is the place to visit in the greater Dayton area. Wow! First time visit exceeded my expectations. It is tucked away and the entrance is on the side of the building facing the parking lot so it may be a little hard to find, but dont give up!If you need ingredients to up your korean cooking game, this is a great place to find them. They have a great selection of frozen seafood, ramyeon, fresh/dried noodles, at least 4 kinds of kimchi in various sizes, and so much more, even kitchenware- like onggi and eating bowls.The owners were so kind and I got a VIP card for my purchase and it definitely adds to my desire to come back and explore more.

Went on a Saturday morning around 1030. Loved the place. Yes its a bit small, but the variety is very good for the size. The woman who was there was very friendly and reminded me very much of the way I was treated in small stores when I was a kid in Europe. Will be going back.

Very nice store, the grandmother there was very nice and helpful. There were some language barrier issues but I used google translator. And she had zero issues after that understanding everything I needed, so dont let the language barrier stop you. They also take credit now.

Ive been shopping at this store for the past 2 years. Its a small store but carries most Korean items, including fresh produce. The owners and their son are all very nice and helpful. Ive never had an issue with the food Ive bought there or the service.

Smallish store with good selection of refrigerated items. Mostly I saw Korean and Japanese items, but some Philippine, Thai and Chinese items. Good selection of red and white miso. If you want bulk soy sauce this is your place. Thrilled to find mochi ice cream and anko ice cream. Also some pots and pans, other cooking and cleaning items, fresh produce such as kabocha, hakusai, daikon, straw mushrooms, ginger. Accept Master Card and Visa.

In response to user:xiaomaos comment about the market lacking anything other than Korean food, well the name of the market is Korean Oriental Food Market. People shouldnt assume that Asian sounding words are on the name of market just to connote its authenticity as being an Asian market. Most of the names are very specific to the type of selection that is in majority, i.e. you wouldnt shop at Sri-G and expect to find sushi.

Ive been shopping at this Korean store for a few years now and I love it! They carry everything you need to make Korean dishes and the family that run the store are very kind!
