I appreciate the customer service of Ms. Julie. She was kind, upbeat patient and cheerful. She listened to my story and understood what I needed for storage. She showed me three different spaces and gave me the best deal for my needs and my budget.

Stacy was very helpful for us. She was able to provide all the information we needed for our storage unit. We were able to get a storage unit and U-Haul truck that day; everything done in less than an hour. Unit is very convenient; area has plenty cameras for safety and is gated. Stacy did an amazing job!!

Staff is helpful and friendly though hard to reach by phone. You should expect rate increases a few months after signing up- even during a national pandemic where people are jobless and homeless. I should have done research on the company instead of choosing it for close proximity to me.

PLEASE DO NOT STORE YOUR THINGS HERE. If you look at more reviews, customers are complaining about the continual price increases. Within the span of 18 months or less I have had three price increases all based on the same thing, demand. When asked what demand and the specifics of how they arrived at the amount I was told that corporate does that. Heather, the office manager refused to give me corporates number. Also, I was in the office and spoke with Heather on June 3rd and there was no mention of an increase. She said she didnt know about it; however, the letter that was sent was dated May 24th for the price increase to be effective June 25th. I would encourage all that have the same experience to contact Austell Corporation, the parent office of Compass Self Storage and contact the Better Business Bureau. Even if Compass doesnt respond it will hinder their rating and more people will be hesitant about renting from them. They are price gouging during a pandemic with no thought of the customers. They rarely answer the phone on site. Most of the time the central office has no information and they send an email that does not get responded to by Heather nor anyone else at the actual rental sites As customers, we arent receiving anything additional for the continual price increases except a letter with no explanation. I didnt even receive the last letter. They try every method of contacting you if you are a day late; however, they send a letter and nothing more to notify you of a price increase that you may or may not receive less than 30 days in advance. We deserve answers! IF YOU HAVENT RENTED HERE, DONT.

Highly professional and very accommodating from the moment I stepped in the door! Stacy went above and beyond to make sure I got a unit that would help make my move as smooth as possible. I got the full rundown on everything I needed to know about the location in terms of security, access and so much more. To top it all off, Stacy did a great job proving that they are truly a “one stop shop” for all things moving. The level of professionalism truly made me happy with every aspect of this place, and my decision to go with them.

The customer service rep, (woman inside behind register) is horrible. She has a bad attitude and is not willing to help or do her job. Had to reach out to her manager to make simple things happen.

My experience with this location has been a pure nightmare, the front desk attendant Stacy started off nice, but after suggesting we exchanged numbers I brushed it off. In the midst of a global pandemic I did not have the luxury of travel to keep an eye on my storage from another state. Needless to say I was shocked when It was finally arrived to gather my items and there was a lock on my unit. The problem with this is that I was not contacted. After moving my things off the property I was charged and this is ludicrous because my belongs had been moved out before any of this. I would not recommend this storage. There is also a strange person sleeping On the property.

Absolutely beautiful business and very well maintained grounds. Convenient, swift rental process. But there stars of the show by far are the staff...Proficient at their jobs, knowledgeable of equipment and supplies, refreshingly pleasant ladies. This must be the friendliest place on earth!... As a new small business owner, I was looking for a storage facility that could house my inventory, offer easy and safe access and be staffed with consumer-friendly people. I found all of that, and more, at Compass Self Storage. Everyone, from the General Manager to the answering service team, was knowledgeable, responsive and friendly, and choosing Compass over any of the surrounding competitors, was not even a contest...and I looked! Awesome!! I walked in for a last minute rental at the end of the day. I was greeted warmly and recieved awesome customer service. On top of that, I was able to get the truck I needed.

I dont have the paperwork in front of me right now. So Im not sure of the ladys name that helped me but I believe her shirt said district manager or maybe just manager??? She gave the most courteous and professional service. You know how you go somewhere a little too close to closing? 1st you hope the place havent counted the last 15mins as a loss and close before you get there. Then you see its open so then you hope the ppl arent upset that you only could make it at the last min, so their rude and give subpar service. No Maam, this was the best customer service Ive had in a long time. I usually wont write a review because my fingers cramp. I will only write a review if I had such awful service that Im upset. I wont even write a review if the business was just bad and I know Ill never go again, chalk it up to the business having a bad day.But I was so impressed that I want to let other ppl know because I read reviews. I had such a wonderful experience at this location. Stacey was so amazing, I was shocked that people like her still exist in the world. I just moved from New York and was returning the Uhaul that I rented and she was so welcoming. I was told about southern hospitality and Stacey give new meaning to that phrase. She was very patient with me will I asked a lot of question. She even allowed me to stay inside out of the cold until my cab arrive. She is second to none. Compass Self Storage is lucky to have her as an employee and is even luckier that they have her at the front desk welcoming all their clients.

The facility and grounds are very nice The staff is very nice and professional . The only disappointment is that your corporate office quotes customers a 50% discount for making donations to a named charity organization but when you get into the office the staff cannot or will not honor that discount. So you go in thinking youre going to pay one price and it ends up being far more than you expect it to be because of this misinformation So in my opinion your corporate office should stop inviting people to get a 50% discount if you are not able to honor that. This makes for VERY poor customer service and can cause customers to get very upset with the staff in the office. If I wasnt pressed for time the day that I set up my storage I would have gone someplace else because I was very very disappointed to find that the staff in the office could not and would not honor this discount.

I’m gonna be moving soon and instead of selling my things I want to store them. I didn’t know much about what unit size I would need so when I went in I spoke to Stacey. She is amazing!! She not only gave me sizes and examples of what I could fit into the unit, but was also very helpful with how to package my belongings. She gave me a tour of the property and was all around helpful. She goes above and beyond and when I rent, it will only be from her!!

Got here at 4:20 on a Saturday. Note on the core said they would be back at 4:45. Waited till 4:50x the note was gone but the door was locked. Tried calling. Would not recommend

Laint:Company isn’t customer friendly also apply extra rates without notice because of competition around their location, I been renting a unit from this location since 2013 and never had a problem until the new owners took over as the months go by I do notice a lot of RV that I have been seeing for years are no longer there . Every time I call to speak to someone it always turns to a argument amongst us I complained about the entry gate is always opened they just tell me the gate has been broken for 2-3 weeks but I live near by and it’s always opened and when I asked for corporate number I only received a call back from a guy with a additude so I just wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone I’m taking my trailer to a better storage location with better additudes just can’t afford for my 8,000 trailer to be stolen are mistreated.

Terrible. Stored my RV here for 2 years. Once compass took over, they parked U haul trucks in front of rv parking. Raised prices twice in less than one year. Access gate was open 2 plus months because waiting on a part. Then to top it off my rv was broken into and was explained by another renter that it was an inside job as the Fairburn police department was investigating. DO NOT USE this facility if you have a choice. They do not take responsibility. I have moved my RV to another storage facility the day after I had to turn it in for repairs. All the other vehicles were also tampered with as well.

Terrible call back service. Since they acquired property rent has went up twice in a year. Rv storage was 130 now they want 187 and they have added nothing.
