I had DC-Camera a really great experience while renting quasar science rainbow lights from here. The reservation was quick and easy online. The staff helped out with the setup of these light and provided the clamps for mounting to the C stands at no extra charge. Highly recommend them for your next shoot

Im very new to photography and had many questions in regards to which lenses best suited the environment I was trying to capture. All of of my questions were always answered. They never made me feel like a novice. They always asked how my shoots went and encouraged me and wished me luck. The staff is super friendly, patient, knowledgeable and will not set you wrong. I needed to pick up a microphone in a pinch for a client. I placed my order and was able to pick up everything the next morning with no problems.I was also trying to connect the microphones to some new equipment and the staff allowed me to make sure everything worked properly before charging my card.Everyone was very helpful and nice and the prices are pretty reasonable on a wide selection of equipment. We use them for nearly all of our rental needs.

This place is awesome! Filming a scene and needed addition booms and recorders. They came through in the clutch! I usually buy all of our company equipment but for things that we dont use all the time, this is my one stop shop for gear.

Im sure their service to 2nd time customers is great but as a first time customer they require a full 24 hour notice for any rental, no exception. I cant for the life of me figure out a logical reason for this. Especially when your local competitor offers rentals same day even to first time customers. If youre in a pinch and you never worked with these people, look elsewhere unless you can afford 24 hours of sitting on your hands.

The registration process was cumbersome and wasted some time, I had to fill two forms of the same information, there is def. room to streamline registration. However, the staff is very helpful, supportive, great waiting area and lots of equipment for rental.

Do not hesitate to rent from DC Cam. My camera needed a repair under a manufacturers extended warranty, but it would take two weeks. DC camera came to my rescue, and for less than $100, I rented a newer, more expensive model, in excellent condition, with additional lenses. The shop is conveniently located in Merrifield (Route 50 and the Beltway in Virginia) close to the new Mosaic Shopping District. I recommend DC Camera without hesitation.

The manager here is extremely rude. I called early in the day to find out full rental details. I did exactly what I was told as far as sending in an email with my info and rental dates. I sent my husband out there to pick up the camera. When he got there, the manager acted like he didnt know what he was talking about. Even though I just spoke to him earlier that day. My hubby was there at 3pm, my hubby called me put me on speaker to speak with manager. I reminded the manger who I was an informed him I sent all the info in. He then tried to act like he didnt receive my email. I then resent the email. I even had my order id number from the first email. To make the long story short. The manager was lazy and didnt want to do his job with running my info and said it would cost me $1400 to rent the camera that day instead of the $60. He then said I could come in on monday and rent it for $60. But I need the camera for tomorrow not MONDAY!!! He was extremely rude, unprofessional and lazy I would never recommend any one to come here!!! go to borrowlens online or service photo in Baltimore!!!!!!
