It took exactly 6 months to deliver two chairs, the chairs are awesome but I had to chase the store, and they kept pushing the dates of delivery beyond their promised and written receipt of 4 months.And of course return is no option for them even if they passed the promised 4 months.Again I love the product quality but communication and management deserved to be called Lazy Boys.
The young woman who took care of us at the Fairfax location was outstanding. She and a young designer worked with us, and was very patient with us as my wife has had a stroke and I suffer from hearing loss. A great experience! We will be back.
We re-visited this gallery after about a year. We had looked at purchasing a sleeper sofa but waited to purchase before moving from our rental. Lindi was great and extremely patient with us and made sure we left with a great deal and went above and beyond with great customer service. We came in with one idea and after an hour of walking around and changing our minds on patterns and fabrics multiply times in addition to adding to our order we finally came to a conclusion. Now we are anxiously awaiting our sleeper sofa and round cocktail table. But the upside is my husband does not have buyers remorse, which has been common when purchasing furniture in the past. Some furniture stores sales reps can be a little pushy and although we may need and like the item we are purchasing it’s always a better experience when the sales representatives are knowledgeable but able to give you space and time to decide. This store was great and Lindi gave us the space to browse, and make up our minds. Which usually means we will do more than just browse. There are things even in a COVID environment you need to be able to sample floor models to get an idea of the product since this is an investment families utilize regularly. Also as a shorter person I don’t want a couch were my feet dangle and don’t touch the floor when I sit down. It was nice that the restrictions were only masks and distancing and we were allowed to sit on the couches. I don’t think I will ever be okay with ordering furniture online and this Lazy Boy furniture showroom was much more than just recliners. Not only was our sales associate Lindi great but all the representatives had an excellent and professional way of conducting business.
The sales staff partnered with in-house designer to help me reimagine my living room and pick out new sofas and accent furniture. They made it easy for me and It was a great experience. The furniture was just delivered and looks fantastic! I ordered two sofas, four accent tables and custom pillows. The order arrived exactly as planned. The delivery crew were on time, courteous and professional. We definitely recommend La-Z-Boy and will be a repeat customer.
I have a leather sectional that I purchased several years ago from this store and wanted to replace part of the sectional that had received exceptional wear and tear. The staff at the store, no matter who answered the phone, was always very cordial and helpful, even when I became frustrated at the added time it took to get me the delivery. Without their support I likely would still be waiting. Its a wonderful place with whom to do business.

The furniture gallery is very nice and well laid out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a chair which was supposed to take three months to arrive. We chose not to pick out a chair of our own design, but chose one that was already being built so we wouldn’t have to wait so long.We are now almost 2 months past that original delivery point and it still hasn’t been built. This has been a very disappointing experience.
What a great store with wonderful employees. I was in and out of there many times, coming back and forth getting different samples to take home. The employees were all so patient with my comings and goings and very understanding about my matching issues. The store rep I started with was not always able to help me when I dropped in - the other employees always jumped in to assist me. I was never told they couldnt help me or that I would have to wait for my rep. They just sat down and helped. Lizzy was my representative. Shes great - just so nice and so helpful. Michael A. also helped me one day and he too was great and followed up for he and Lizzy after Id been in one day. Another women helped me one day and I wish I could remember her name. It didnt matter whose customer it was, they just all jumped in an helped. I finally found the fabric I needed and was able to buy a sofa, loveseat and ottoman and then they helped me with fabric for the pillows. Overall, I just cant say enough good about the wonderful customer service exhibited by everyone there. Highly recommend!!!!

My chair arrived at 9 o’clock pm on a Saturday the bottom part was ripped and there seems on the armrest it smelled in the material was not the same as the store I called Monday twice the office and customer care and email nothing. I called Tuesday four times left messages for customer care in the store and email nothing. I called Wednesday same thing nothing. finally Thursday I got a call back I told him I don’t want to chair anymore. they tell me your three days is past - too bad. I will never buy Lazyboy again. Terrible customer service

My husband and I had the best experience at La-Z-Boy in Fairfax. We arrived tired and frustrated due to a lousy experience at another prominent furniture center, but once we entered La-Z-Boy it was an immediate reset. The staff are very professional, show interest, but keep a respectful distance. No pressure or eavesdropping! Within an hour we chose our own sectional, and Lindi walked us through the configuration, purchase and delivery processes. She is a stand out salesperson. The designs, styles, and colors are all on point and the prices are what they should be. We highly recommend, and we will be back someday soon. Thanks.
The sales associate, Lindi, skillfully asked questions to determine the exact type of furniture we needed. She walked us through the design and selection process and made fantastic suggestions. The only mildly disappointing factor is the long (4-6 months) delay in receiving our furniture, but we are confident it will be worth the wait!

While ultimately pleased with the couch, the sales associates were not upfront about the delivery estimate for my purchase. When ordered in September 2020, I was told the piece would arrive at the end of January. Not once was I contacted and told that the delivery would be delayed. When the couch did not arrive, I contacted customer service who told me that construction had not even started. After numerous calls and several additional months the couch was finally delivered in May 2021 - 8 months after purchase. While I was told that my delivery fee would be waived and I would receive 5% of the purchase price back as a result of the delay, this is yet to come to fruition. The only reason I give two stars is because the couch does exceed expectations and is very comfortable.
We had a amazing experience at Lazy Boy. A woman named Lindi approached us to help and she was great. She was knowledgeable and listened to my ideas. I was not set on buying anything but a recliner but ended up also making a sofa purchase. Loved her!
Order two leather recliners and a sofa. Leather recliners delivered in less than a week and appeared fine. Not a month passed and we have a problem with one of the recliners in that when you recline it’s difficult and the sound is metal on metal. (Perhaps sum total use-4 times by 6ft.3in 200lb son)Call store-told to deal with service group; takes 5 weeks to get someone here (for a brand new chair-not special order) and another 4 weeks for replacement part. I asked the chair be replaced; nope. Can’t do that-needs to be serviced.Also ordered sofa at the same time as recliners-I get COVID and delays. The delivery timeframe changed 3 times. 5 months from order to delivery.Initial service in store was fine with sales rep. I would not purchase from them again given how this recliners were handled. I called twice over the extended timeframe and asked that the manager call me. Never did. The original sales woman did.
Everyone was friendly and helpful without being pushy. You can roam around the floor and if/ when you have a question they are there to help. I waited until I got home and called back later to put in an order. If was very fast and easy.
We had a FANTASTIC experience here. We had been shopping around at many different stores for a sectional and were so impressed by Gail & Michael. They were so incredibly helpful and patient with the process of selecting pieces and fabric. Michael was quick and prompt with supplying digital mock-ups of the room and helping us make a decision on the best use of the space. We ended up buying a gorgeous coffee table & throw blanket as well. Honestly, when I think La-z-boy I used to think large recliners, but I was STUNNED with their selection of modern & stylish furniture pieces and accessories! I will definitely be shopping here again !!

We’ve own La Z Boy chairs and love them. So, we decided to purchase a recliner couch. We are really looking forward to getting it. Only wish it wasn’t a 4-6 month wait time!

This was the second occasion of purchasing La-Z-Boy furniture from the Fairfax office. We originally purchased a couch and loveseat which lasted approximately 12 years. The love seat is still in excellent condition and we decided to keep it. The couch through years of wear and tear was replaced with another one of similar style and actually better quality. We also purchased an electronic recliner with lumbar support and headrest adjustment. We love both pieces and Im very satisfied with the customer service we received from La-Z-Boy.

Went to this store and saw two to three sales people standing around laughing having fun. We were in the store 45 minutes before someone finally talked to us to see if we needed help, I said no you have ignored long enough you must not need the business.

Ordered the Chandler high leg recliner in January 2021 and paid $1200 in full. I was told delivery would be 4 to 6 months. The chair finally arrived right at 6 months with a broken arm and leg and the cloth was very unevenly attached with loose parts and wood showing where it shouldnt be. The chair obviously had not been put through quality control. I asked them how long it would take to get a replacement and they told me I would have to start all over again. I took a refund and asked for a manager to call me but no call 2 weeks later. I will never buy a la-z-boy again

Great color option and great selection of recliners that don’t look like your typical puffy recliner. However don’t expect to get your furniture anytime soon. We were told right off the bat that there would be a 4 to 6 month delay however once six months came and went, no one from the store give us a call. I attempted to call twice and was told that the supervisor would call back and that never happened. Then of course another month goes by and of course I am continuing to call and was finally told that my recliner has left the warehouse however they’re not quite sure when I will actually get it. Very poor customer service.
Great customer experience with Lizzie at the Fairfax location.We went to the Dulles location first and were met with so much resentment and uninteresting sales person. We came to fairfax and lizzie took the time to understand what we were looking for and our color choices and it helped make our decision so much easier. La-z-Boy in Fairfax is where Gale has worked for 18 years. Her knowledge of the La-z-Boy products is phenomenal! She spent over 2 hours with us, encouraging us to sit in each piece we thought we might like. Since one of us is tall, and one of us is short, she wanted to be sure the reclining sofa we would purchase would “fit” both of us. We are anxiously awaiting delivery of our purchase—hopefully in time for Christmas! Were we to purchase any other furniture, we will be sure to return here. The selection is extensive, and our sales person Gale is phenomenal!

Disappointed with the lack of customer service at the Fairfax location. Disappointed with the product itself. Not what we wanted. Not what we understood we ordered. Be sure to carefully review your receipt. Dont assume what you asked for is what they are ordering for you. In our case there was zero flexibility by the manager to make up for a miscommunication by the sales person. Even if were were willing to pay more for an adjustment they were unwavering in their decision to do noting to wright a bad situation and an unhappy customer. Would not recommend. Buyer beware.

I have not received my furniture yet... it will take 14 weeks!!!!!! (It better be worth the wait)But I can comment on the customer service. Lindi was so patient and was very informative with giving me all options. I changed my mind several times and she was there patiently helping me figure it out. Michael the designer gave me several good ideas with coordinating fabrics and colors.
It was one of the easiest decisions we have made in a while. The staff were helpful and attentive while remaining distant and even took care of some design aspects via email for safety and a quicker turnaround time. Michael and Lizzie were great.
The recliners make your home movie experience better than the theaters. Be patient with special orders, the wait is worth. Their quality surpasses all other recliners manufacturers by far in my opinion. I still have a hand me down that is both functional and comfortable.

Gail Freedman was our Sales Associate and she was outstanding in all respects. Gail showed us a sofa and chair that were perfect for our needs and timing preferences for delivery. The quality of the furniture is great but it took almost 6 months to get our custom made furniture delivered to us. We did get some compensation as in free delivery and 5% off but only after we repeatedly questioned what was going on and expressed our disappointment in having no living room furniture for almost half a year. No one reached out to us unless we reached out to them. I emailed several times and finally we we given the reason that the material for the furniture ran out.

This is an review about my experience of buying a couch. It isnt however about the couch itself (which is not due to arrive until another 75-90 days +/-).It was a very positive experience. Id been to the gallery before & had an idea what I wanted; and then backed that understanding up with some online research to the corporate site. I also was interested in the significant sale discounting available during my first trip in early Feb. 2021.After my return to the store (gallery) March 14th, the sale process was quick and painless. The promotional sale discounts had changed, but frankly a little bit for the better! Plus I was offered a military discount on top of the now-current promotional sale, which as a veteran I deeply appreciate.Pros of buying a LaZBoy product: quality, selection, customization of materials, warranty, etc.Cons: the waiting period until delivery + affiliated 30% down payment (although in my case, the projected wait time is about 75-90 days, down from a previously stated 150-180 days). Well see; but at least the quoted delivery time is on my invoicing materials, for whatever it is worth at that point. I am unsure of what the quoted wait time value is & any possible recourse to me, if the quoted delivery time ends up being wildly inaccurate (unless its to my benefit, of course--LOL).

Michael A. was just terrific and we bought two Meyer sofas in the Dove color. Once my husband sat on those gel cushions, there was no turning back! Michael was extremely knowledgeable and provided dimensions, an overview of pricing, and a thorough description of the delivery process once we decided to buy. We were greeted upon arrival but not followed around by the sales team so we could take our sweet time looking around without pressure. Feel good about the Made in America furniture and the companies environmental strides as well—although I read about that after we already bought. We settled on Lay-Z-Boy based on quality and after leaving a local furniture chain where we were expected to haggle for pricing by an incompetent salesmen. No thanks! I prefer to be treated like a like a neighbor and not a con-job. Thanks again Michael!!!

La-Z-boy is a great store in a convenient location for Fairfax residents. Sales staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. Products are superior and excellent reputation is well deserved.My only complaint is with the financial banking partner they work with for customer financing. Synchrony Bank is nothing more then a payday loan shark and that’s an insult to loan sharks. I’m not going into detail about my personal experience with Synchrony Bank but suffice it to say it wasn’t good. I would give La-Z-boy 5 stars if they choose a different financial partner.La-Z-boy did after several months step up and correct the problem even though technically it wasn’t there responsibility so I give them credit for stepping up to resolve an issue that was a result of partnering with a Bank that is less then reputable. Check their reviews.
The staff at this location are very helpful and provide valuable input for styling furniture! They have an expansive set of furniture pieces on the sales floor and list the prices on each piece. I would highly recommend checking out this location and Lindi was particularly helpful for selecting a wonderful set of living room furniture! I would definitely buy from this La-Z-Boy location again.

The worst! I am on month four waiting to get my couch. Yes, I ordered a different color fabric so it’s considered “custom”, but this is ridiculous. I should’ve went somewhere else to buy a reclining sofa. Now they’re telling me they’re expecting a June arrival - six months to wait for a freakin’ Sofa. Ridiculous!!!
The sales associate was awesome. I told her what we were looking for and I had taken a pic of the area in the room. She helped me find a piece that would compliment my existing sofa and fabric for pillows to tie both pieces together with our rug.I also was looking for a sofa table and found a floor model on sale that I liked. I was able to pick it up that evening.My sales associate was extremely professional, great with color choices. I was extremely lucky to have such a gifted sales associate.
We had to wait to shop for furniture till the stores re-opened so we could test the chairs. We were glad that the staff allowed us the time to make our decision before engaging us to complete the design process and ultimately the purchase. Our sales rep was very good helping with all of our questions.
Great experience. We went to 4 different furniture stores and none of them had as many comfortable selections as lazy boy did. If I could give La-Z-Boy negative stars I would give them negative 5 stars! It could have been Labor Day Weekend but it took several days for us to purchase furniture from them. We knew what we wanted but we were turned away because Michael wanted another sales employee to have the commission. Since he wasted our time, we had to come back to purchase the furniture. In addition to that we selected a fabric for a pillow that would have delayed our order until at least next year but werent told that certain fabrics werent in stock! Additionally, we gave a price point within our budget and found a sofa that met the same features as the sofa we were looking for only to be told that we would not be sold the same piece of furniture for the same price as the sofa on the exhibit floor. We ended up buying anyways but that was a mistake - read update below.Update: We called to see if our purchased furniture would be delivered on time as promised. They said the furniture wouldnt be delivered until March, a FULL 7 MONTHS after we had ordered it. One star for lack of communication and customer service. Sorry not sorry La-Z-Boy, you lost a customer for life. I do not recommend shopping here unless you enjoy getting ripped off or overpriced furniture. Advice: go to BELFORT they are 1,000x Better! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Gail was very nice and helpful. We were able to look at many samples of different fabrics. They have lots of pet friendly options! Even with Covid precautions, I felt safe looking at items in the store as they are all sanitized daily. It was a great experience!
The item that was going for $1119 on their OWN website was priced at $1675 in their store. Please make sure you check their website before you shop from this store. Also their discount is much lower than other stores (don’t ask me how!!)They were also trying to get me on a day that was so hard for me to go in the store just because their associate was off and wanted to make sure she gets credit. I ended up going to another location in Columbia MD and got the EXACT same piece of furniture for $600 cheaper.
Cara at the Lee Highway in Fairfax, VA did an outstanding job of helping us select a motorized recliner for my wife. She gave us space to discuss and check out the various options, and she was extremely helpful in helping us make final decisions about which model would work best for us as well as upholstery selection. We couldnt be happier with the wide selection at the store and with Caras knowledge and helpfulness. Now we will see if La-Z-Boy can do an equally good job of building and delivering on schedule.

I was so happy with my previous experience at La-Z-Boy, I returned to check out a media unit I had seen online. I made an appointment and brought a friend who was looking for a sofa. Lindi helped us out, showing me the unit on the floor and my friend the available fabrics for the sofas she liked. Lindi priced out options for both of us. We were not pressured to buy and allowed to browse and “sit test” the sofas. I did order the media unit and my friend was able to borrow fabric swatches to see how they would look in her home. Two thumbs up for Lindi and La-Z-Boy.
The showroom is open and everyone is keeping socially distant. They were quick to help with my purchase, especially Lindi.

As a “thoughtful” shopper, which also equates to a shopper who is slow to make decisions, I very much appreciated La-Z-Boy’s courteous, professional, and non-pressured approach to helping me find just the right furniture to meet my needs! They were able to use their technology to visually help me see possibilities and were patient and helpful each time that I came back for more information. If any questions came up that a sales associate was not sure of, they did not hesitate to ask another associate or get further clarification from the store manager. Their service was top/notch and I would not hesitate to refer friends and family to this store!

The best La-Z-Boy gallery showroom in Northern Virginia. As soon as I walked in the store, I was artistically inspired and felt confident I will find a sofa that fits my style. Michael, the in-house interior designer took my experience to the next level with coordinating color of the couch with my design style and bringing out colors in the rug. I would recommend this store for anyone who needs inspiration.
We recently bought a power reclining sofa. We werent given a manual with it. The reclining mechanism recently stopped working, and we thought it was broken and were pretty upset. La-Z-Boy sent someone out in 48 hours and he showed us that a safety feature had been triggered and he showed us how to fix it. It all could have been avoided had they given us a booklet with the sofa. But the repair man was super awesome. Very nice. very professional. What started as a bad experience turned into something positive. Weve always had good luck with our La-Z-Boy. So Im glad to know that our brand new sofa is working well. Ive been buying La-Z-Boy for over a decade, and that trend will continue. I love their furniture. Well worth the price.
Salesperson was very patient while I samples every recliner in the place and choose from an enormous pile of swatches! The store was clean and well-organized. A wonderful furniture shopping experience!
We were greeted as we walked into the store. The Saleslady was most welcoming and knowledgeable. We were looking for a comfortable sofa bed for our new place. The lady showed us at least eight possibilities. She even opened up the one we really liked, blew up the mattress and then let us lie on it to be sure it was what we required.Although we had only planned to look today, we were convinced and so bought the sofa and will have it delivered in a couple of weeks to our new home.We are very satisfied with the sofa and especially by the kind, helpful and courteous way were treated. This is not the first time that we have bought furniture from La-Z-boy.As we figure out what else we need, you will see us again.
Very friendly staff. Dorothy and Titi where great. There is no pressure and you can take your time looking. Prices are very goog. Would recommend this store.
