Great customer service, but need more than one staff during the weekend. I’m glad I walked in when no one was there. people who walked in after had to wait for a while.

Bought a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses from this location. Tried to return within 30 day “easy return” period but was denied refund b/c store claimed there were “scratches” on the glasses. Shocked Sunglass hut doesn’t have a buffer process to remove a few micro scratches to restore sunglasses for resale. Will never shop at Sunglass hut again. Recommend shop someplace other than Sunglass Hut. Any company that doesn’t honor their refund policy is a scam company IMO.

I recently went to the Sunglass Hut in Fair Oaks mall (11752U Fair Oaks Mall, Fairfax, VA 22033) and was assisted by an individual named Elias. Elias’ knowledge of customer service skills were beyond my expectations. His spent time helping me find the perfect frame and made me feel like he genuinely wanted to assist me and not just make me another sale. His professionalism was highly appreciated. He was also able to resolve a purchasing issue from another Sunglass Hut in Macy’s and I couldn’t thank him enough for it. Thank you so much Elias, you’re the best!

✍️Sunglass Hut selection has wide variety of brands and styles in each brand is excellent in my opinion. Prices seem fair considering high overhead of being brick-and-mortar operation and large portion of sales revenue pays the rent, utilities and employees wages. Benefit of shopping in store is customer can try on sunglasses. Pre pandemic that is. I have been a customer for many years. Though I like convenience I do not particularly care for high pressure salesmanship of their sales force. My sense is sales staff is trained to press customers. I also sense training includes to compliment customer on each selection customer tries on. I note that employee turnover is exceptionally high.

Staff is super friendly and they will help you find whatever you are lookin for in the store with great patience .

Stopped at the location in Fair Oaks Malls in search of some Costas. The particular pair I wanted was not in stock but the rep took my number down and said she would keep in touch. She did, and she remembered me well. Long story short, I arrived maybe a month later, she still remembered me being the Costa guy, and suggested a pair I instantly fell in love with. Great customer service.

I had bought a couple pairs of Ray Ban glasses from the Macy’s location after waiting a long time for service and was told I could exchange the glasses at any location. When I went into this location (11752 U Fair Oaks Mall) I was VERY pleased with the service quality I received from a young man named Elias working there.He facilitated the purchase of two different pair of glasses that I had originally wanted and honored the discount I received from the other location inside the Macy’s. He was professional, helpful, and kind. Elias’s customer service skills are top notch, he had meaningful conversations with everyone in the store making them feel valued and welcome while working alone and being very efficient. I could not have been more pleased with the service Elias provided. I learned he is currently a college student from talking with him and it was very obvious he has received a high level of training and education in customer relations and has experience dealing with people. I was so pleased with his service I had to take the time to write this review. I am a loyal customer and I always have been well treated by Sunglasses Hut.Today 11/10/2019 I bought a new pair from Tyson’s corner as they didn’t have the color I want, I went to fair oaks mall store. They do carry the same brand shape in black, I requested an exchange, the lady in the afternoon shift was very mean and she said I have to go back to Tyson’s corner mallI drove back to Tyson’s corner mall, they said she has to exchange it, so they did the transaction in the store and they asked me to go pick up the pair from fair oaks mallCan you imagine in three hours I had to drive between the two malls 4 times because of the lady working at Fair Oaks Mall.If you want to buy go Tyson’s they are the best never Fair oaksSunglasses Hut management please train your associate in Fair Oaks MallEva

Wonderful experience here, great staff. I have been searching far and wide for a pair of sunglasses to fall in love with. Keiona was absolutely wonderful. She was impressively patient with my ever-changing opinions on the look/style I was interested in and was able to find me the perfect pair. She is a matchmaker of sunglasses and I appreciated the pleasant company. Highly recommend this place. Thanks much!

Went here yesterday 10/11/2020 to get some help returning sunglasses that we purchased from SGH Myrtle beach when on vacation, we had them shipped home to VA and they arrived totally wrong. They were not what we’d purchased to be shipped home and after going to SGH in Tysons (friendly customer service there but they said they’d talk to their manager and call us later but they never did) we decided to go to SGH in fair oaks mall. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted by two women, the store manager (fair skinned, dark haired woman) was mean and not helpful at all, she definitely played the “I don’t want to deal with this” attitude and went as far as to say that it was our fault as customers for not double checking and that she knows customers who returned on the basis that they changed their mind when nothing was wrong. I though that insinuating that of us was extremely unprofessional and she told us to go back to SGH in Myrtle beach to deal with the problem if we really believe it was their mistake and not ours. Her associate was much nicer and relatable and apologised for us not receiving help but the manager said that the glasses were still “wearable” we didn’t have to get them fixed or exchanged. We paid a lot of money for these glasses to be exactly what we wanted and she told us to basically eat it, she couldn’t do anything as store manager to help even if she wanted to and that we can still wear these glasses. NEVER go to this store, I called SGH in Myrtle beach and they were appalled at the fact fair oaks mall location would reject helping us at all. Don’t waste your time here.

This store seems to be under different management. I was at this location last summer (2018) and I was barely greeted. What a difference from a year ago to now. I went in just to see what’s new. And the 2 ladies there were amazing! (Corina & Keana)They made me feel very comfortable and were very knowledgeable about the product. The energy in the store was incredible. It completely changed my mood! I went in just to “look” ended up buying 2 pairs. They really were wonderful! I’ll be coming back to this particular store for sure!

I went in to the store with a damaged pair of sunglasses, sad and disappointed that despite my best efforts, I was unable to keep the glasses safe from the gale force winds that whipped them off my face and sent them flying 50 yards across the parking lot. I went in asking about sales and showed them the glasses in the event that they had some kind of recycling program. The ladies in the store happily told me about their accident protection program, looked up my information in the system, and saved me $100. That is true integrity - they could’ve upped their sales numbers, but chose to do what was right by the customer. Kudos, ladies! I will be returning for all future sunglasses needs.

Was a bit hesitant at visiting this location after seeing the ratings on Google, but I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service I received from two very helpful associates. I felt that the associates were honest in their recommendations and they were so sweet. This was my first pair of sunglasses I purchased at Sunglass Hut and quite frankly, I will surely be back for my next pair. (PS Im obsessed with my new sunnies and cant get enough:)

No customer service! I purchased glasses yesterday from Tyson’s Va store but realized after the fact that to use by Amex discount I needed to order the raybans online. So I went to a sunglasses close to my house (fair oaks mall in fairfax va)today to return the glasses I purchased at sunglass hut. I had never touched the glasses, they were still in the bag from the day before. I was told that they had a scratch and that I couldn’t return the glasses there and that I needed to drive to the store that I purchased them at which was 30 minutes away. I couldn’t even find the scratch he insisted they had. I was very upset as I knew I had done nothing to the glasses, I couldn’t see anything wrong with the glasses and that I was going to have to drive another 30 minutes away to get these returned with my 3 year old in tow. I asked to speak to the manager which was on the phone, he was of no help and really didn’t have any interest in rectifying this for me. So I took the glasses and drove to the other store, when I got there they knew I was coming as the other store called to warn them. The man in the Tyson’s store was very nice and returned the glasses and told me he didn’t see any scratches on the glasses. He could not find any scratch! I told him I didn’t see any either. A complete waste of my time! Never again will I use sunglass hut, absolutely NO customer service. The fair oaks store just did not want to process a return!

Poor customer service on the part of the manager, Rachel Anthony, led to a miserable experience resulting in the loss of my time and money. I was told I could not exchange a pair of sunglasses I received as a gift due to a visible scratch on the surface of the lens. Instead, I would have to locate a receipt and exchange it for a credit equaling half the glasses sales price. I completely understood and even apologized for wasting their time. Once I left however, I realized that I could possibly get the lens scratch cleaned at a jeweler, I decided to pursue that option. Thankfully, the jeweler was able to remove the scratch COMPLETELY. I returned, only to be rudely turned away by a manager persistent in her unwillingness to help me. This sickening customer service led me to not want to deal with this retailer again.

Absolutely the BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced!

At first, I read the reviews and was hesitant to even go to the Sunglass Hut in Fair Oaks because of the poor customer service mentioned in reviews. However, I did have a great experience and the sales associates took great care of me. Ive never wrote a review before, but Zahraa, an employee of Sunglass Hut, was so great I felt like she deserved a 5 star rating. I went in there and bought a pair of Versace sunglasses that were a bit crooked. She allowed me to return or exchange, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Since the shades had a complex frame, it was difficult to straighten. Zahraa called multiple locations and called Macys to ensure I received my shades on the same day. She actually found a pair for me at Macys and went and brought them to me. I really appreciated the time she took! :)

Loved the staff...exceptional and friendly service

This store has gone down in customer service.I bought a $400 pair Tom Ford Sunglasses less than 3 months ago. One of the leg broke & I took it back for them to repair or return to Tom Ford since it is under 1 year warranty.The manager was trying to talk me into applying $200 towards a new pair & did not even want to service this.Dont go THERE!It is under a bad management!!!!!
