Love this grocery store. Store is always clean and clam. Definitely more expensive than most grocery store around here but the prices are good for the quality of food. I really like the meat and seafood counter. Similar to Fresh Market and Whole Foods. Meats are at rear of the store. Buffet and dining area are at right side.. The parking is a hassle at this location but worth the drive for me!
I shopped at Earth Fare for the first time today. Wow. Great selection of organic produce. Better than Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. And wow, the prices! The quality matches the cost however, just be prepared for some sticker shock. I was especially glad to find a good selection of sprouts as well as sprouted breads and even tortillas. They also have a great selection of bulk foods that are also organic. Truly an excellent place for vegans and raw vegans to shop.
Ive been to the earth fare in Greensboro,NC and Cleveland OH. I go here when I dont want to deal with whole foods and their crowds. Hopefully this earth fare stays in business. For the past several months, The crowds here are small which isnt good for business. This store doesnt have the coffee supply like Greensboro has. The Fairview Park OH location had a big personal care section that I liked. This location is missing alot of that and the missing merchandise may be due to the lack of crowds . The salad bar isnt as maintained as it is in whole foods. The food is often dry due to heat lamps and people not eating the salad bar food. Anyway hope this location can last
Love this store. Staff not only helpful, friendly, but very knowledgeable. Patrick who is that the Juice bar is always willing to share his knowledge. The deli area--I love the food and always get the Tuscan Bean Salad, Carolina Cole Slaw and Orzo Pasta Salad...yummy. Love that the food is clean and I dont have to read labels for various things like trans fats. So nice to have so many healthy choices.
Good store. One of the few that carries homestead creamery buttermilk so extra points for that. However grocery prices are higher than even Whole Foods so docking a star for that.
Worst grocer in the area. The fresh foods section always looks like the food has been there all day and is dry and old including the pizza. Staffing? Where are the people? There is never anyone to ask for help and when you do 🤣. Its like going to the circus. Either they dont kjow or dont speak the language or dont care. Not returning to waste my time
I like this store, great selection and decent pricing for a natural foods store, especially if you join their healthy rewards program (frequent shopper-like program). I have to give three stars here though because of customer service. Ive visited several times and unfortunately my interactions with the employees just havent left me with a good feeling. The person working the meat counter is very cold, and seems almost disgruntled, although from a simple work perspective he seems to do a great job; he just doesnt seem suited for interacting with customers. Ive also encountered similar strange experiences at the deli and checkout. Up the vibe on customer service and this place would definitely have more stars.
Great sales, always fresh produce and friendly staff. Appreciate the loyalty program as well. My new neighborhood grocery store.
Excellent natural foods store with a good selection of produce, seafood, and meats, as well as frozen and packaged foods for special diets such as dairy-free and gluten free. Overall emphasis on food that is good for you though not to the exclusion of red meat, ice cream, and other popular foods. Reasonable prices, competitive with most regular grocery stores. Large parking lot - in small shopping center at major intersection.
The produce here is wonderful! Fresh, ripe, and looks great. Although they dont have much of a huge selection on things, like a regular supermarket, its just as good because the stuff they do have its very good
Prices are better than most non-healthy food stores in many things! Its like the Aldie of organic/healthy foods. The store brands are cheapest, just check labels for what youre looking for. Definately worth the drive for us for the food. Other items can be more expensive so pick and choose. Quality is also good. In terms of feels this place is more of a middle ground experience rather than an upscale pampered type shopping experience, and I am so okay with that. Clean, good products, affordable prices, and the workers are friendly. It all works for us. :-)UPDATE: Weve been noticing a few of the products are less than fresh. A couple things have even been mouldy and on the shelf in the cold section.... WATCH for that. Lost a star...
I was thinking of giving them a 4 but really they deserve a 5. They have everything you can ever be looking for from a grocery store: prices, convenience, and customer service. They are topnotch on all of that.
Dear Earth Fare,I frequently shop your store on a regular basis. I like your mission, product selection, employees... And your pricing is okay. However, tonight is my 3rd or 4th occasion driving over, only to find all the seafood put away too early. I totally understand you close at 10 and want to go home. But, tonight its 8:15 and everything has been removed. Im sorry, but I cant risk driving over there for fresh seafood only to find it all packed away. Moreover, I gotta believe your COGs for pizza made in-house is relatively low, yet there have been several times where none are available to-go, and I cant track down a employee to make one, or just dont have time. I would love to see these improvements made. Let me know if any of my assumptions are incorrect.Sincerely,P. S - I attempted to purchase a 4 thick rib eye today, and when I asked to have it sliced in half, to a more reasonable thickness, I was told its already cut. What does that even mean?
They have a good health food selection but the whole store looked completely wiped out. Nothing was faced and they only had about one of every product.
As of January 12, 2020 the Fairfax location is closed for good. 😩😟
I love this store! I hope they keep up the great deals and customer service Ive become accustom to.
I used to love them a whole 5 worth. The last two times weve come for something from their email, the same day as receiving the email, they were out of said thing. The employees used to be excellent, now they just mostly seem like unhappy retail workers.
Great grocery store, as long as they dont get rid of their daily deals! (Ex sushi Wednesday)
I loveeee this place. The best chicken noodle soup ever! Great employees and tons of amazing products. :)
Great staff, great service. Honored to live close to this store.
Lovely store. Excellent customer service and wide variety of products. Eager to go back!
Great deals, great prices and fresh produce.
The store itself is nice, but unfortunately they should have someone monitoring the bulk section.. I was there on Sunday, and in the bulk isle I witnessed a young boy (maybe 4 years old) with both hands in a bulk barrel of something.. tossing it around like he was playing the sand box... and then the most disturbing thing I witnessed was a woman licking her fingers after trying each of the peanut butters by the spout. It turned my stomach so that I had to leave. PEOPLE! all it takes is one to screw something nice up. GAG.
I saw a mouse by the produce department. I told an associate about it- her answer was we have them here wow!
Good for organic produce. Prices are pretty good better than Whole Foods not as good as Moms Organic Market.
I visited this store last Saturday and bought ONLY what they had on sale because the prices are outrageously high. avocados were on sale and i bought 6, all were black inside. Prepared salad was buy one get one free, all rotten which was not visible from outside. chicken sausage was buy one get one free, tasted terrible. will never go back
Bit pricy but if you’re going for natural and organic foods you probably already know that. Staff is extremely friendly and very helpful when trying to find products you need
This place is great, good prices considering everything is organic. The staff was super friendly as well, will be coming back
Good selection although much of the produce is conventional. The prices when not on sale are a little high. Good hours, early morning till 11pm. The women in supplements section are knowledgable. We didnt try meat or fish sections because they close early. Cashier was good. There us a handout at register for free magazine but nobody including customer service knew where it was. CS sent me on a wild goose chase fircit but I didnt find it. Overall we like the location, selection, abd hours, so will be back.Visit #2 was the next evening, one full hour before closing and the fish Dept was already closed. Meat Dept guy offered to get us fish from the back, and brought out the wrong fish twice. Nice guy though. This time customer service had the free magazines. Keeping rating the same.
I a am looking for a grocery store that sells dairy free or lactose free products. I sent an inquiry through the website and recieved a call back. I was really surprised t hat someone would call, esoecially at 9:00 at night. Had a nice chat with the assistant manager of the Williamsburg store. He told me they should have everything I need. Cant wait get there to check it out.
Staff is super friendly and their sales are great! High quality food for a great price!
Nice place to get organic and natural stuff. Good selection but prices are high.
Fresh, clean, great customer service every time I visit.
Never go there.First I was wondered why there is no people and soon found out it is overpriced and no customer service at all. I went there 3 times and every time staff was rud and so slow. At the cashier they put all products in one bag and you need to have a long conversation to make them give you another one. When I came back home I found my bananas that looked like a purée at the bottom of the bag. What’s wrong with them?!
I like the snacks, but everything is still very expensive. The way Earth Fare is marketed, it sounds like they are trying to be a cheaper version of whole foods, but everything is still very expensive.
I completely disagree with one of the previous posters! I found the selection to be overall CHEAPER than Whole Foods by a land slide! The cascade brand of cereal typicall 4 $ at Whole Foods that my kids like was 2 for 5! Kambuchas we 2 for $5. Organic eggs much cheaper thank the Whole Foods brand. Plus the hours can’t be beat! These guys are getting all my business! I do love Wegmans but it’s way too crowded even at 7am. Love love love this place can’t wait to go back!
Staff members are handy to assist. Vegies and fruits are organic and fresh.
Cashiers are slow and groceries are overpriced .Will give you an example:Regular conventional kefir is $5.29, Walmart down the street sells it for $2.79 everyday price.Organic potatoes (they dont have the conventional for some reason) is $2.29 per lb, seriously? Walmart down the street is $.99 per lb, no wonder why there was nobody inside.
Employees are kind and helpful, selection is great, and, most importantly, the prices are lower than Wegmans and Whole Foods.
Good selection, but way too expensive for produce and staple items.
Great organic foods store though a little expensive. I found the nuts, bakery, and the prepared food areas the best
”weve come for something from their email, the same day as receiving the email, they were out of said thing. “ same thing happened to me. what a classical bait and switch. i may switch to whole food next time.
Wonderful place with great organic foods, I like this place.
Cheaper than WF, feels like an Aldi, priced like a Mom’s Organic.
Good selection, a bit pricey.
Many organic items which I found here are only available here, could find in other stores like Wegmens.......
Real organic food, could not find anywhere else. Thanks a lot.
Loved Greer NC location!
Great choices and always friendly, but very expensive for just about anything.
Its a nice place. Pricy.
Very well stocked organic grocery
Very clean and quality products.
They put all the meat away and won’t sell you any after 8 yet stay open until 10 pm
The most expensive store around. I found most things cheaper at Whole Foods and Wegmans. They have similar stuff youd find at Whole Foods and Wegmans, but significantly marked up. Its also a smaller store than I thought it would be.
Fresh organic food.
Great venue
Easy shopping.
Nice selection of products
The worst customer service, I went in many times and each time workers have an attitude and very inattentive.
Unfriendly employees.
If you want to buy healthy food, this is one of those places with dissimilar organic products, even to eat on the spot. Easy access and good parking area
