Im writing this review because of the great support Ive had with this company. After much much research I bought a hot tub from Capital Hot Tubs a few years ago. The purchase costed more than Costco or an online retailer, but Its well worth it.There are a lot of logistics when purchasing a hot tub such as delivery, installation, electrical, setup and so many other factors. And also warranty.These folks did an amazing job from electrical to set up and so many other items thats needed when setting up a hot tub.The best part is they provide amazing service afterwards. Ive had to call for maintenance a few times and capital hot tubs takes care of it. Recently my control display died and Jay came over and took care of everything and was courteous, professional, and he knew his stuff. On top of that Jay also fixed another item under warranty that I wasnt even aware of.If youre looking for a real hot tub please dont buy online. Instead go to these folks and they will make it great and also after.

There were some issues with the first spa. It was damaged after it left the factory. The staff at Capital Hot Tubs made everything work out be expediting an order for a replacement tub. Through their efforts the new tub arrived about one month from the original delivery date.The delivery crew were excellent to work with. Very pleasant and good at their profession.From the sales to the delivery all went great considering they had no control over the damage to the first tub.Thank you,Paul

I have bought two hot tubs from Capital Hot Tubs and Saunas over the past three years. Their sales personnel are very experienced and know their products well. Their support staff are very friendly and kept me posted on my hot tub delivery. The delivery people were able to navigate through tight spaces to please the hot tub in the desired location. The fresh water salt system is very easy to set up and maintain. I use the hot tub several times a day since it has been delivered. They are the first and last place to go, when looking for a quality hot tub.

We purchased the Cool Zone option for our Hot Springs Flair model and we love the hot tub. Im sure we will love the cool zone as well, if we ever find an HVAC company that will install it in Virginia. Jay Topper has been amazing helping us search for a HVAC company to install....fingers crossed! Hold off on the cool zone if youre in VA, otherwise a great Hot Tub and a great experience.

Sandie made us feel as if she was our personal representative in our final purchase of the Vanguard along with the Covana Oasis cover system. Other than the first delivery date given to me being wrong, the delivery and installation of my hot tub went very smoothly. There was a slight leak after I filled up the hot tub and they came right out and fixed it, same day. Bought a Limelight Flair in 2017 from Capital Hot Tubs--get supplies from them each quarter to maintain it. Great service and nice folks. Just had an issue with the control panel that was repaired (still under warranty--hallejuhah!) within a week; we will back in it ready to look for meteors tonight. 5 stars.

I purchased a sauna from Capital Hot Tubs and the experience was underwhelming to say the least. The sauna delivery was delayed because of covid, no big deal, but communication from Capital was poor throughout. I was the one having to call each month to ask about a status, often with multiple email follow-ups. Once it was finally delivered and installed, the install on the heater was wired backwards. Luckily my electrician was able to fix it. I would not purchase from them again.

Capital Hot Tubs really went all out for us and our new tub. The installation crew came out and stayed late on a Friday until the job was completely finished. Our salesman, John Homan spent the time to explain everything to us and made sure we got exactly what we wanted with the Hot Springs SX. Capital even recommended an electrician that was always on time, courteous and affordable. The whole experience was outstanding and if youre looking to get a hot tub, Capital is the place to go!

Over the course of the next week or so, we had additional bells and whistles and Sandie was more than happy to assist or answer any questions or concerns. MIke the service tech explained how the various components worked in the hot tub, and associated maintenance items. Took the time to explain how the tub really works. That helped me understand the reasoning behind maintenance items, particularly the filters.

Capital has a great showroom with an extensive selection that allows you to compare models up and down the range. John is really knowledgeable and patiently answered all our newbie questions. After talking with John and looking at the many options available, we were able to make a decision on the spot. The hot tubs are made to order in California, so be prepared to wait a month after ordering. And youll need to have an electricity junction box installed near the hot tub. Also, after sales support has been great. The delivery team made sure to ask us exactly where we wanted the hot tub, then showed us where the replacement filters go. And you can call John for help when you have questions about treating the water.

Capital Hot Tubs sent their technician promptly when the issue was shared with them. It did take two visits to remedy the problem, but they were able to pinpoint the reason for the issue and how to take care of it. I have always found them to be responsive and extremely helpful. We have owned our Hot Springs hot tub for 22 years and have relied on Capital Hot Tubs to keep it performing during that time. Their service personnel are knowledgeable and are able to take care of any problem that arises. I highly recommend them.

Ive been a customer of Capital Hot Tubs for about 15 years for an 1992 hot tub - yes, Im been offered a deal to trade-in and buy new, but the original tub is still working with excellent jets and heating operation. Ive needed service several times in the last 10 years, For this last one, the circulating pump had to be replaced. The office personnel are helpful and scheduled the repair visit. Mike/service person, correctly diagnosed and serviced the hot tub. Older tubs like mine weren’t designed for easy repair, takes more time to service. A rule of thumb is that.a hot tub is good for 20 years, mine is at 27. I believe that Capital Hot Tubs is customer-oriented, has trained their people well, and charges fairly. Id like to buy new, but somewhat like owning an older car with many travel miles left in the engine, Im going to try/to continue to get my older Bessie repaired with Capital Hot Tubs and Saunas help.

We had an issue with our hot tub that was under warranty and Landon came out to fix the problem and he went above and beyond to satisfy our hot tub issue. We were very pleased and he made getting back to using our hot tub quick and easy. He even went so far as to fill up the hot tub completely and balance the levels out initially so we didn’t have to worry about doing it correctly after he left. We were super pleased and grateful!

We love hot Springs Hot tubs. A friend turned us on to Hot Springs in the late 80’s and we never looked back. We are a retired military family and moved our first spa 13 times, it was a great have for moving, we knew we could always set it up and have our tub with in a few weeks of moving on base or in a regular neighborhood. Our oldest has her own hot tub and is married to a military member they just moved with their spa to Florida and are happy as can be.This product is the best and we have introduced the product to many friends who in turn made the investment. When you invest you will not be disappointed with the product and they stand behind it 100 percent. Happy Spa happy people.

I enjoy the sauna that I purchased... It wasnt my first choice or even second choice..... But it is still nice. But thats not the reason for the 2 stars. After the initial interaction at the store and I decided to purchase a sauna, it went completely down. Terrible customer service, as I was being spoken to in a very disrespectful way, from the president of the company. We came to an agreement by the end of the conversation that I could live with, but the disrespect has left a bad taste with this company. And on top of that I had to say something to the lead installer as he got an attitude with my electrician. The installer hooked up there sauna incorrectly and my electrician had to go in and fix it. After it was fixed the installer did apologize and said that he learned something new. But the attitude initially, once again. Wasnt warranted. Hopefully any further customer service I need in the future goes better. I feel like Im stuck in this bad customer service relationship with them at this point, but fingers crossed I dont need them though the life of the warranty period.Update: needed a follow-up service to adjust something from original installation. Customer Service was exceptionally better and the service techs that came out knew what they were doing. I cant remember your names.... But you saved my opinion of your company. Thank you.

The salespeople were great! Sandie in Fairfax was good with follow up while I was shopping around, and she got me a good deal since I purchased my tub just before the holidays. Delivery and service people who have come out to my house have been friendly and taken the time to show me how things work. I knocked a star because it’s been very frustrating dealing with operations. My tub was delayed from the factory by almost 3 weeks and I had to chase down why because no one was giving me status. Same when it was delivered - a part was back ordered (which I didn’t know until the delivery team told me) and I was the one calling and emailing to get status days later. Whenever I called I got the brush off “you’re in our queue, we’ll be in touch” but there were no follow ups without me sending a frustrated emails. I am under the impression there was some staff turnover in this timeframe, but there is definitely room for improvement with customer service. A few days ago I probably would have knocked off 2 stars but now the tub is completely delivered, up and running, and I’ve been enjoying it, so I’m only knocking off 1 star. I went with Capital Hot Tubs because of the amazing reviews and the salespeople made me feel like I would get really good service. I’m really hoping my experience with operations this winter was a blip and future service is more organized.

When calling they are always pleasant, answer all questions and give me accurate quotes. My home service has been wonderful. They are courteous and informative. I recently purchased a new cover and was delighted when it was delivered and installed before the promised date. At this point I have nothing negative I could possibly report about this company. Capital Hot Tubs Is a great place to buy your hot tub and have peace of mind that it will be serviced well. Mike is a great technician. I’ve been very happy with my tub over the past three years. I would really recommend the salt system to avoid heavy chorine smell and feel. It costs more upfront and to maintain but the quality of the tub experience is so much better.

I have to say the whole process of getting our new hot tub installed and up and going has been great. I want to make a special point of thanking the amazing crew who came out and did the installation. They have to make some adjustments to the hole in our deck to accommodate the new hot tub, and they were here working on it for several hours - even after dark. Then just today I called the Fairfax store because we had a problem with bubbles forming on the surface of our hot tub when we were enjoying it last night. I talked to Sandie who provided amazing customer service - helping me understand what had caused the problem and literally held my hand by phone as I did the testing and adjustments. She suggested that I call back after the first step of that process and, again, helped me as I read the readings and started the hot tub jets again - and reminded me to clean the filters this evening. Bottom line, this guy was freaking out, and Sandie calmed me down and got things right. Just know I am very grateful for the great service we get from Capital Hot Tubs.

Quality product (Beam model hot tub). Experienced, pleasant, helpful staff both in store and at installation. Delivery and installation was smooth and efficient. The salt system delivers excellent water quality and, although I was skeptical, the complimentary Bose system adds to the whole experience.

The service technician, Mike, was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. He replaced the control unit quickly and had the tub running again. And thankfully, the warranty took care of the replacement cost of the Control Unit, so I only had to pay for the service call which was very reasonable. Thanks guys for quickly fixing my spa!!!

Recently had my first service call on my 15-year old CASPIAN hot tub that I bought from Capital Hot Tubs! Service Technician was Mike Davis and he was outstanding. He was very willing to engage in conversation about my hot tub and the possible causes of my problem (heater high limit thermostat kept tripping). He acknowledged that the cause is often tricky to diagnose but he felt very confident that I needed a new thermostat, which he replaced. That was a couple of days ago and the tub seems to be working fine - so I think he nailed it!! Buying a salt water hot tub has helped my medial condition extensively--not sure where I would be without it at this point. It is a fabulous product, easy to maintain and you dont feel like you just stepped out of a swimming pool when you exit. I also love my infrared sauna that I purchased here. When I went in for the first time last year, I told the salesman (John) that I was just looking at the moment and was planning to purchase one a year later. Instead of pressuring me to purchase one then, he explained all the options, answered all of my questions, and told me hed look forward to hearing from me in the future.When I was finally in a position to purchase one, I went back and John remembered me from the year prior. He set me up with a wet test, helped me pick out the options that were right for me, set up financing, and made the whole process painless.A few weeks later, my tub was delivered and the crew was exceptional. Even though it was a tight squeeze getting the tub where I wanted it under my deck, they were cheerful and expedient and got it all set up for me.The thing that really stands out to me is the customer service. I elected to hook up the electrical myself since I am fairly handy. When I couldnt get it to work, I sent an email out at 8:30 PM on a Friday night, hoping for a response the next morning. Instead, I got a phone call within 10 minutes from Patty asking how she could help. I was able to text her some pictures and they told me I had mistakenly hooked the neutral line to the neutral bar instead of to the breaker. She and her crew went the extra mile to make sure I had it up and running for the weekend. If youre looking for a new hot tub, this is definitely the place to go!!

Service call - We recently had to call Capital Hot Tubs because our tub just quit working. They were able to come out very quickly and the service tech, Mike, was very professional and courteous. He fixed the problem in no time and was helpful with other maintenance tips. We were very pleased with the response and service we received.

I have been with Capital Hot tubs since 2003. We have a Hot springs Vanguard hot tub and have been very happy with its performance, maintenance, and cost to operate. The sales staff is always helpful and informative. They hold VIP nights every sixth months which gives a good discount on supplies. I also have silk balance, a product we really like, delivered by mail.
