I went in there today looking for a very specific idle gear for my bike. They didnt have what I was looking for, as the part was discontinued, but the employee who helped me went out of his way to figure out what part I needed and where I could look to find it. I wish I had gotten his name so I could leave it here, but I really appreciate it. He was incredibly nice and helpful.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. This one star is for Adam in service. He was very kind and helpful. He saw I was frustrated with other staff members and tried to help me in department he wasn’t even a part of. Now EVERYONE else in the store was very rude and unhelpful. I had to ask for help multiple times. They are very stand-off ish, judge-mental sexist. I watched other male customers get greater with smiles and being helped more than I was. Being a African American woman in a male dominated store is a little intimidating and they made it worst. S/O yo Adam tho.

R-U-D-E.... The kid behind the counter was helping me when another customer walked in. He just abandoned me until he was done with the new customer. Then he came back to me! I should have walked out but not sure where another motorcycle shop is in Fairfield.

The sales staff are friendly, helpful and personable. My experience with merchandising was far less than helpful and friendly. The customer service, in my experience, was terrible. The staff on that side are not welcoming, friendly or inviting. This is McDonalds, not Chic-Fil-A for certain!

Ive been riding for a few years now and have always stopped in to cycle specialties to get parts and gear, as of the last year I was on the hunt to purchase a new (to me) motorcycle, and quite honestly every motorcycle Ive purchased has always been cash and always private sellers so buying from a dealer for a motorcycle was a new experience for me, the sales and finance team at cycle specialties made things really easy for me and even managed to get me a Yamaha Extended Service contract on my 2012 R1, Im very happy with my purchase and the staff at cycle specialties and when Im in the market again for another motorcycle I will be making this store my first stop!

The service department did not satisfy me in any fashion. Took my scooter in to have a recall part replaced and a new rear tire. This all took place on March 24th 2021. I was told 3 to 4 weeks. Well when I didnt hear from them. By May 25th I went back to Cycle Specialities. Well nobody could find my work order so they looked the information up in the computer, while standingat the counter underneath papers was my recall part.The manager assured me they would take care of the issue. Well now its 6/29/21 I called the shop spoke with Mike I got the same run around (bs)my scooter still hasnt been serviced. Smh!

Great service. I mean, GREAT SERVICE. I am in a vacation trip (2000 mile trip) and i needed a rear tire. I call several places and they didnt have the tire or the time to serve my bike. (I was not going to be in town much. Because i am on vacation). They managed to get me tires (even with covid-19 restrictions), several choices, they explained them to me and helped me choose the best option for my needs. I ended up getting new shades, boots and other stuff as well because their selection and prices is amazing. (And my boots were ready to give up).

I stopped through with a friend to sell his bike. It took a little bit to get the process going but they offered a fair price and everyone was happy.

Sales staff member not only knew nothing of the bike for sale, but also seemed largely uninterested in working with me in general. This shop will not be gaining my business. My advice is to educate your sales staff or, allow customers to speak to someone more knowledgeable in the building.

Just called to buy a bike I seen online. guy answered phone was rude terrible customer service answered with grumpy voice what department you want.

Horrible service. In vehicle service, if you buy something little and they treat you well, maybe youll buy something bigger later. In this case of this place, the horrific service will make sure I never go back. I would drive an extra hour to avoid giving them business.All I needed was a Ram Mount and the lady on the phone said they had handlebar and fork stem types. Being new to motorcycles, I asked what the fork stem type was. She said those are for sports bikes. I said I had an Aprilia, and she insisted that I needed the handlebar type. Already turned off by her attitude, but in a pinch, I went anyway.Nobody on staff was wearing masks. Same lady up front by the Mounts, I asked again about the fork stem type, and she said those are just for sports bikes, same attitude (last time I checked a Tuono was a sport bike). I bought the $10 overpriced Mount ($65) and she had the nerve to start with the were happy to have you as a customer bit when she started asking for my personal info. Seriously there could not have been less enthusiasm in her voice.Now for the best part- after all this, I go out, the handlebar mount fits, but lo and behold there is a place that the fork stem wouldve fit. No matter, I start installing it and have a size 10 wrench and needed a 12. So I go back in and ask to borrow a wrench to tighten up the bolts. No lie- another sales dude says I dont know...theyre pretty strict about lending out wrenches in the service department. As if I would drive all the way to this trash establishment so I can steal a $3 wrench after getting fleeced on a $50 mount and dealing with the chicks attitude from the moment I called.WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL TELL ANYONE I CAN TO AVOID IT

Good buying experience. Stopped in while traveling to look at a new KTM Adv bike. Had 1 on the showroom floor, they priced it reasonably compared to market, bought it a week later & they went out of their way to offer delivery at cost. Would recommend.

The last 2 times I’ve been there the workers were not helpful whatsoever, borderline rude. For the amount of time and money I spend there I expect more. You all need to figure out a way to get Yasmine to come back, she was the best thing that ever happened to that place.

The #1 thing that creates problems in life is communication. Chris was honest, transparent and a great in communicating timeline for service and then taking the time to provide a great review of the service results. This is the way proper service should be handled and Chris @ Cycle Specialties has it covered! I would not think twice about recommending Chris and the team for any motorcycle service/repairs!

Was in looking for handle bar ends for my fz6 and the store did not have what i was looking for was about to leave when billy in parts found a solution to the problem I was facing. He went above and beyond and would be glad to continue doing business with them.

My morning commute was postponed when my chain suddenly gave up and sprawled across the road like a dead snake.I was able to glide to a side road and pull in to a parking lot. I feared a pool of oil would shortly form below my bike, but I got lucky.AAA towed me to Cycle Specialties just as they were opening.Everyone was pleasant and greated me when I came in.Chris at the service counter picked out a chain, had the guys look the bike over for any secondary damage, and soon had me on my way. I feared getting shafted on price, but I got a very reasonable deal.While I waited I drooled over some new bikes that also appeared to have decent prices.They buttoned up my bike and I was able to get to work in time for lunch.A big thanks to Chris and the mechanic who got me going again.

The customer service was amazing! I had never bought or rode a motorcycle before. Matt helped me find the best starter bike for my needs and was very patient explaining the terminology, other gear needed, and explaining every step of the buying process. Being a young woman I find it very hard to be taken seriously when asking for help concerning larger purchases. I did not feel that was the case here. Everyone who helped me was intelligent, informed, friendly, and helpful.

Most of us have stopped in all kinds of motorcycle shops. Some experiences have been less than desirable. The staff at this shop have been great. It doesn’t matter if I’m spending $5.00 or $500.00. I get the same level of respect.

I bought a used bike at the Western Hills location last fall, generally a good experience. Today, there is a pandemic with no end in sight. I am parked at the Fairfield location, watching customers go in and out without restriction or masks. I had come here to buy tune-up parts for my bike, but I guess I will buy them online instead.

Im a smaller than average rider so finding gear for starting out riding was a challenge. The sales staff were so patient when I tried on pretty much every pair of gloves in the store, even checking in the back for other sizes, until I found pair that fit perfectly. I also bought my helmet and pants there, as well as stuff for oil changes, and when I bought a new tinted visor the staff offered to show me how to put it on. Shout out to Zach and Nick who helped order me parts for my Ninja recently so I can get back on the road! The staff here is amazing and I havent considered shopping anywhere else for my motorcycle needs!

I called about a 2019 xsr900 and they had several in stock. The gentleman I talk to was polite and helpful, but he told me they do not allow test rides. Im not going to buy any vehicle car/truck/bike/boat without testing it first for comfort, power, handling, to make sure its a good fit. I dont know if this is common practice for small dealerships but this is the first time I have been told that. Never had a problem showing up in my rising gear and test riding before.

I was looking for a set of ktm logo tie downs that I didnt have to order. I emailed cycle specialties and asked of they had any in stock. They said they could order them if wanted to come in and pick something. I really just wanted to pick them up locally. But they went ahead and ordered a pair and emailed me back to let me know they would be there in a couple of days if I wanted to come look at them. I thought that was really cool but they were go ahead and order a pair even though I didnt want them. So I went up and it was exactly what I needed. I really appreciate the extra effort they put in for their customers

Friendly knowledgeable service personnel. Went way above their way to help me get my bike battery jumped and gave me a shot of gas and fuel conditioner. My bike was serviced for recall but was not cranked up for a while. Made it home safe. And miss fire went away after riding awhile. Give them a try.

I had my stock Raider wheels swapped out for chromed versions and new tires mounted. I wouldve preferred to have the time and equipment to do it myself, but these guys did it quickly, at a fair price, and took very good care of both sets of wheels. Very much appreciated. Ill be back!

I have been to the shop a few times lately and ordered an air filter bought a helmet and priced a few things including tires intake and exhaust. The service department seemed like he could care less but the floor staff was great. The sales associate Joe was very helpful with everything i needed.

Ive been using Cycle Specialties for years. Bought in my Harley to have a new tire installed last week. Great price on tire and installation. They have the best service department around. Chris in service is always a pleasure to work with.

Helmet shopping can be a real big pain but the guy who helped me was extremely patient, made some great recommendations based on my needs and head shape (not just top down selling). Everyone in there is great from the service team to the sales team everytime Ive been. Kudos guys for such a great buying experience.

I was a little surprised by the unwillingness of a staff person I talked to make a purchase. After looking at an ATV, I looked around for a staff member and found one. I asked him if he was a salesperson and he reluctantly said yes. I thought that was odd that he had to think about the question. I wanted to buy an ATV for my kids and ready to take it with me that evening. Then he started talking about the major restrictions about the government and how it was so important to make sure you dont have young riders on a 90cc ATV. Ok, I get it, but after, what seemed like 5 minutes of the all the rules I was starting to get discouraged. He seemed unwilling to make a sale and I felt like he steering me away (yeah, I take showers, so I know I didnt stink). Im not unwilling to go back someday, but the whole conversation was just odd to me. I must have the grabbed the wrong guy or he was having a bad day. The next day I called up different dealer in Clinton County and ordered my ATV from them and not here. I wish it would have worked out.

I bought my first helmet here for a motorcycle class I am taking later in the month. The sales department was awesome. They pointed me to the right style and properly fit me. Great group of people. Will definitely be returning.

Good selection of riding gear and accessories, and service department did a great job of squeezing me in on short notice when I needed a new rear tire mounted, even though I bought the tire from somewhere else. Only downside was that they quoted me a price over the phone that was lower than what I was actually charged to mount the tire. When I inquired, they told me the quoted price was wrong and wouldnt honor it. On the other hand, my friend had a bike repaired there after he laid it down and they did a great job for slightly less than the quoted estimate.

I brought my 2008 Honda CBR1000RR in for its spring servicing and I was nothing but pleased with the work Chris and hid team did. They did the spring maintenance and installed my slip on exhaust for a great price. And not to mention, they finished my bike in 2 days. Safe to say, I will be bringing my bike to Chris anytime it needs work done.

Great service ordering my tires talking to Chris and all the sales people in the store helping to find the right tires. Yasmine was really helpful in assisting with finding a pair of riding boots and gloves. She wasnt pushy, she was friendly and courteous and provided some good advice on gloves. I do wish the store had more variety in cruiser style boots, at least a little more representative of what can be found on the website.

I took my bike in for its 11,000 mile service and new tires this past week. Due to amount of work to be done, I had to leave it for a couple of days, dropping it off on Wednesday. Brent told me he would have it done by the following Friday, which it was! Everything that needed to be done and everything that I asked to be done was completed in a timely manner and, most importantly, it was done correctly! When I dropped it off Brent told me he would have the bike back to me by Friday and, sure enough, he called me late Friday morning to tell me that the bike was ready. Brent is easy to talk to, and actually listens to the customer -- which is a not too common skill these days! All in all, Brent and his team provided exemplary service, second to none!! Thanks! : )

Bought my FZ8 new in 2012 and have all service done here. Always done right and professionally. Even when I went down and needed $3500 in repairs, the bike came back like new! Also had suspension mods done and never any issues with the work theyve done.

I originally purchased my bike in Columbus before I found this dealer. I went there with my girlfriend and she ended up purchasing a bike from here. Staff was very helpful in assisting us both in purchasing the best gear and answering ALL of questions. The bike was delivered the very next day and the gear ordered arrived the next day as well. When I purchased my bike in Columbus, I had to wait 2 weeks for them to deliver it and the store didnt have nearly as much accessories as Cycle Specialties. Again, staff was very friendly and helpful during this process. Steve was very helpful after delivering the bike and really took the time to explain everything.

My review of the Service Dept: Chris is a rare find, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to work with. The Service Dept has always provided excellent quality work for me. The only ongoing problem seems to be slow turn around times (weeks to months). Since work is somewhat seasonal, maybe the use of some part-time (contractor?) mechanics should be investigated.July 2018 updateChris is my go to person for ALL things at Cycle Specialities. Since he knows my bike and interests, I can ask him who, where and what at CS can help me with my needs, questions, etc.

I bought my first helmet there. After wearing it for about 45 minutes I started getting hot spots. I took it back and got another helmet. This one I didnt really wear much because it didnt really fit well. but after a near death experience that I managed to keep my bike up on I said ya know its time to wear a helmet again. I took it back and even though it was way past the return policy they gave me a store gift card to get myself a good helmet that fits right . Great service and nice people here.

Im sorry I cant remember the employee that took care of me yesterday. He did a very good job and only missed One thing.Buying a helmet is a very personal thing. It must fit properly to serve its purpose. The gentleman that waited on my took me and my son directly to what we were looking for and stayed with us while I tried on all of the Modular Helmets available. He was pretty patient and talked about fit and features of the various helmets. He got a little ahead of the game by asking for the sale a little to early but backed off to give me a little more time.If he had suggested I walk around for a few minutes (maybe 15 or so) to ensure there were no pressure points to cause headaches and such he would have gotten a full 5 (or Excellent)I would have given him a B+ or A- perhaps.Ive been a customer since 08 and still travel the 30 plus miles from Burlington to check out accessories and such. Although Ive bought bikes from you in the past, my last bike (and probably my last) purchase is an Indian Chief Vintage. It was a 70th birthday present to myself.
