If you plan on buying a bagel don’t go here, they won’t even be OPEN. I would call before wasting your time and going there. This has happened four times during LUNCH time … why woulda business that serves lunch and breakfast be closed during busy hours? Note to bagel king… correct your store hours online. You are never opened.

I dont usually do this. But I happened to stop by Bagel King today, it caught my eye on a work errand. First I was disappointed with the menu and lack of full breakfast sandwich options. But the strawberry cream cheese looked like it was made there and so I decided to have a cinnamon raisin bagel lightly toasted with the strawberry cream cheese. I got in the car and headed back to work, opening my bag to find the most wrinkly runt of a bagel I have ever seen burnt to a crisp with strawberry jam. What a waste. Close it down and replace it with a bagel man.

Not only is it a tremendous family run business, but they by far are the best bagels in town! The owners of both Bagel King and Josephs bagels are incredible people and love what they do! Definitely get yourself a FLAGEL!

Great bagel. I got a sesame with veggie cc, my go-to when I get a bagel. If you mess that up, theres nothing more you can do for me. The cc was nice and crunchy. It was a good ratio cc to bagel. Tasty. Nothing stale. Ill stop in again if Im ever in area.

I will NEVER give my money to this location ever again!! The two Spanish ladies working there were so RUDE! Horrible customer service. And 90 cents each to toast bagels is mind blowing. The bagel wasn’t even that good it’s was flat and lifeless and really salty! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

Great bagels and pastries. (Pre-pandemic) loved seeing the morning regulars there too! Nice selection of bagels and flavored cream cheeses.

Was in the area so decided to stop in for breakfast. Arrived to an empty store, looked at the menu and placed my order. $3.75 for an egg and cheese on a bagel??? Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too pricey, but I digress.About two minutes after, a woman comes in, orders the same thing (except on a flagel). How is it that she gets to pay before me AND gets her food before I do?!?! 🤔🤔 Now Im not the one to pull the race card but an older woman came in shortly thereafter her, ordered a dozen bagels and received her order at the same time, as well. Im disgusted and will not be visiting this location ever again.P.S. the bagels are sub par, at best, and the eggs were flat and had zero taste. They are an embarrassment to the Bagel King name. Ill be sticking to the Bridgeport-Main Street location. They know how to treat ALL customers, their prices are sensible and their food is top notch!

Who owns this place? If you do, are you not able to see that NOBODY likes the ANNOYING, WEIRD, RUDE woman you have working at the counter? Your bagels are FINE, but I personally do not give you my business because of this awful woman you refuse to get rid of. Someone at least tell her to stop trying to talk to the customers, because we dont want to talk to her... Thanks.

Love this Bagel Shop! I highly recommend trying this Eatery for Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch! Great friendly professional service every time! The tradition of Bagel King holds true in this Deli with a wide variety of bagels and toppings! Plenty of deli meats to choose from for a sandwich as well as salads, breads, pastries and more! The food is always fresh and is served as ordered! The establishment is clean, well kept and the ordering process flows smoothly. It is obviously under professional and customer service driven management. It is reflected in the staff, food and eatery itself. Always a treat when visiting Bagel King of Fairfield! I always look forward to my next visit there! Great job, thank you and keep up the good work!

Bagels okay but really I don’t know how this place stays in business. While I strive to support our small businesses especially during this pandemic, I can’t stand thieves. I ordered a bagel toasted and scooped out. Advertised at $1.10 ok fine. I got charged $2 - 90 cents to toast it! Really GTFOOH. Never again. Bagel King Main Street Bridgeport- better bagels and FAIR prices. It’s WORTH THE TRIP. Shame on these low life business owners. I’m disgusted

Really good bagels, not quite NYC, but very good. Great cream cheeses too.

Bagel King is amazing. Highly recommend getting a plain bagel, toasted with butter. And if you’re feeling adventurous you can try their scallion cream cheese. Lit.

I only ordered a plain bagel with creamcheese. It was fine but it was so small and too crispy. It was also overpriced. Not again.

I wouldn’t give them any business. Rude staff with a bad attitude. Because of one rotten apple I’m not giving them absolutely any business. Rude staff are enough to break a business and owners should care about who they hire. I’d give them negative stars if I could.

Thought it would be a regular bagel spot, you know like a bacon egg hashbrowns and cheese bagel place. But they didnt have that. So my husband ordered a plain Turkey sandwich and a side of macaroni salad with a drink. $11. Lol

The bagels are too crispy and I found them kind of hard. The butter on the side is hard to spread. Never again!

Friendly service however the prices for like kind items here in Fairfield, in comparison to the Bridgeport locations Ive patronized, are considerably higherI expected prices to be uniformEvidently these are franchises, and here, the owner is passing on the overhead cost to the customers through the products

Different than your usual bagel - much smaller. Very good, crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Recommended.

This may have been the worst bagel experience of my life. I got a very simple order, iced coffee and a plain bagel. The girl at the counter asked if I wanted my coffee light and sweet, I said no, dark 1 sugar, I got light and sweet. The iced coffee was week like water and milk week, and tasted burnt.My bagle was stale.Ill never go back here. I highly suggest that you dont waste your money.I want my $3.80 and 5 minutes of my life back!

Service was very quick but the people working were unfriendly. Quality of bagels is not that great; I got an egg bagel with cream cheese and it tasted nothing different than a plain bagel. Not sure I would go back here again.

WAY OVERPRICED FOR MEDIOCRE BAGELS!!! I rarely post reviews but this place was really upsetting. My husband and I love to support small local businesses so we thought we would give this place a try. The bagel prices seemed reasonable...until you ask for cream cheese. They are very sneaky because they advertise $1.75 for a bagel (which is not bad) but then hit you with $2 to put cream cheese on it! I had asked for a small tablespoon-sized container of honey walnut cream cheese and they tried to charge me $5 for the smallest container of flavored cream cheese I have ever seen in my life. Then their flagel (flat bagel with cream cheese) was also $5. For 3 bagels and a few add on items, the bill came out to almost $30! My husband and I will not be patronizing this greedy establishment ever again and I suggest you save your hard-earned dollars for another bagel place!
