I have over twenty years in retail. From minimum wage to GM to sales trainer, sales rep & everything in between. Ive never had a more a more consistently positive experience at a retail shop in any industry Ive been a part of. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and super easy to talk to. I go out of my way to spend money here rather than with online retailers (Tandy offers that too Im pretty sure). What a fantastic resource to have locally. More than leather too... want to repair your favorite bag/garment? Odds are they have something thatll work.

I am new to leather work, and I went into the Fairfield store with very little knowledge of what I needed to get started. The staff was super helpful and patient. They gave me great advice and I left there very impressed. With all this COVID non sense I feel retail customer service has declined, but not here, it was exceptional. I have reached out with questions via email and received quick and thorough responses. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Super cool place and very nice people. We walked in as amatures with no leather knowledge and they helped us out, we even got to dive right in and try it ourselves. If we had questions about anything they could literally demo it for us. They even helped me make a bracelet before we left! Just a bunch of chill people being friendly and doing what they love. It was an awesome experience!

I am completely new to leather working and stopped in for the first time today. I had some beginner questions and both employees were extremely helpful, one of which was not even on the clock but just stopped into pick something up. I will be returning for some hands on instruction and learning that I was invited to join in on. Looking forward to working on some future leather projects.

Went in to buy some screws to put some conchos on my motorcycle saddle bags. Left with the screws...and a new messenger bag that will slide right in my saddlebag, that I made myself, right there, with the help of the staff. I never had any idea I could do that! Going beck next weekend to carve a design on the flap, and finish it. I plan on being a regular visitor. Very cool folks there, with a ton of ideas and assistance. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
