Nothing particularly wrong I just liked the vibe of this ShopRite before it was renovated to be more modern.Prices are good and the place is clean. The workers were friendly as well.This isnt one of my favorite Shoprite stores because its smaller and seems more closed in due to not having the windows near the checkout areas but its still fine for a quick grocery trip.Oh the sushi was quite alright too!

It was alright. This is my first time in Fairfield. Wanted to ask manager a question and she ignored us twice. Had to go to one of the customer service reps. Never had this problem at other Shoprites. Normally staff is very courteous. Sure it does not make a difference but will not go there again.

I’ve been coming here for practically all my life. This ShopRite is slightly unclean, but nothing to freak out about. The new renovation looks great! The new self-checkout is a fine edition to this place. Scanning things might be a hassle, so just be on the lookout for that. I totally recommend coming here!

Terrible meat the steaks I purchased looked great but were absolutely the worst .They were tough the one looked great on the side showing but the other side was nothing but fat .Truly disappointed at 18.00 a pound I would hope for something better than the garbage I bought. The next day I bought some meats across the street at Sorrentos importing omg the meats were absolutely Beautiful and Cheaper so fresh do yourself a favor try them you will never buy meat at a shop rite or stop and shop again .

Tonight, I was looking for the fabled Ben & Jerrys Froyo! The customer service manager quickly pointed the way to the legendary treat! Ive never acquired this rare product so fast!!

Actually never had a bad experience there.I like the courtesy of the staff and that they are in uniform.This store looks a little dumpy from the outside, but I have always found it clean and presentable inside. Very comparable to Stop&Shop. Ive gotten great deals on meat over the years, while the meat quality at Stop&Shop had declined.Very nice fresh produce section.

Our local grocery store and the actual store building has had several companies own the building since forever here in Fairfield. Shop Rite of Fairfield is relatively clean, professional, respectful, helpful and kind staff in ALL their departments. Management is on the ball and extremely accommodating. Prices are reasonable and sales prices are an extra bonus to the wallet. Also they play great music over the intercom.

One of my favorite grocery stores. Customer service is excellent, the employees are kind, the prices are reasonable and the only thing I could critique is that their inventory on a few sales items were out of stock. I would go the extra distance to shop here any day.

Very clean and well stocked.Staff were very friendly and they had Extremely fresh and Hearty Seafood.Got these fresh lobster for $5.99 each and they steamed them for free.I even picked up prepackaged Sushi for $6.99 a roll and it was great as well to be prepackaged.

Decent prices and store is clean! Doesn’t get super busy which is nice especially in covid environment. Staff is very friendly and the store seems to hire young students which is great for the community!

I recommend their meat department highly. Its great to actually be able to get advice & guidance from an on-site butcher. They also have a very good variety of prepared foods.

I received somewhat expedited help to get get what I needed and be on my way with a smile from the cashier Aimee...

The store was clean but the stock wasn’t great, also the shopping carts were a bit rusty but at least there was self checkout.

The prices are great, but some of the staff arent really knowledgeable on items. I have had to go to customer service desk after asking an associate on the sales floor, who was completely clueless or gave me wrong information. For the most part though, their staff is pretty friendly and are helpful. They definitely need to update store.

I was able to locate easily the items that I needed.

I prefer Shop Rite over Stop & Shop any day...I will drive by S&S to get to Shop rite and if they dont have what I need THEN I will go to S&S..this is how much I like this store...Clean well lit always stocked and stays open til 10pm for late shoppers late hours store is completely empty for fast shopping. Even on high volume days and time your checkout time is still quick..all registers are almost always open...returns are no issue and mgr counter is right in front of the registers in case you have a price discrepancy..and location is excellent in shopping area of over 30 other stores like CVS..TRADER JOES ..BANKING ..DUNKIN DONUTS.. BOSTON MARKET..DRS AND DENTAL OFFICES..and RESTAURANTS overall thumbs up!!!

Good place to shop

I walked in and I felt out of place not so welcoming very stand offish but the store was clean everything in its place. I feel as though the customer service could be better. The young man who waited on my was very nice he showed that he was not afraid to talk to me. Understanding the pandemic and everything else going on we still need to coincide with each other. I think Ill stay at the one in Stratford.

Had a wonderful experience ordering catering for a baby shower from Shoprite Fairfield! Ordering was very simple through the Shoprite website and the team was communicative when there was the need for a substitution (they texted me which was helpful in my busy schedule!) Picking up was lovely, a manager helped me wrangle both my deli and bakery orders and the staff helped me cash out and load the food in my car! The food and nicely plated and wrapped making it easy to set up and display. All the food was fresh and very good. I especially liked the fruit rainbow which was adorable. The cheese boards were a nice mix of different cheeses and were a big hit! The only thing I wish I had done prior to leaving the store was have the deli staff label the cheeses so I could label them at home (the cheeses required some substitution, which is understandable). Overall a great catering success! I would highly recommend Shoprite catering and will probably order from them again if the need arises. Please excuse my tight photo of the catering on the table!

Prices were average, store appeared clean and deli counter staff were friendly. The parking lot can be hazardous with distracted drivers and pedestrians the closer you get to the store so. I recommend parking 4+ rows back from the store entrance.

Wide selection of plant based milk, cheese etc. Decent fruits n veggies and a growing selection of hard to find and different gluten free items ..even when compared to larger stores in the general area.

Very well set up! Help bagging your food! Pleasant workers! Could not ask for much more!!!

I generally love Shoprite but this one is very unwelcoming. First they sectioned off the left hand entrance for COVID purposes - which is fine. But this was my first time going there and didnt see the sign until I was close on it and as soon as I noticed the sign one of the employees walking out screamed at me NOT AN ENTRANCE. Very rude. Against better judgement I continued to go into this Shoprite -through the correct door. Just the whole flow of this shoprite seems all over the place. I asked for help on Granola and they were rude and sent me to the wrong isle. At check out they gave us a hard time about the bags, Which I didnt understand why because we were paying for them anyway. This is on my DONOT go to list!!

I think the workers here a the most helpful and courteous. Prices are good and so is the quality of their produce. Their seafood prices are also good and the last time we had scallops they were great.

Always excellent. Very clean. Joe and Jim in Deli and especially Alex in Butcher shop outstanding. Front managers and service desk work hard to help customers. I love that the store philosophy is to hire local kids and people with disabilities. In my book it cant get better than that-- big operation, well run and yet tuned in to our local community. Kudos to ShopRite Owners.

Living so close its beneficial for me if I need something quick on the go. Their sandwiches are extremely overpriced...almost $8 for two pieces of bread and tuna fish? No thanks. I have had some unfortunate negative experiences with some of their employees. Management is alright for the most part. As a manager you should not be berating an employee in the parking lot for letting someone park with their bike in a non-parking spot. Her name was either Deborah or something like that. UNPROFESSIONAL.Customer service desk people are so nice and patient! The store could use some more cleaning and I have had to tell managers of messes involving cardboard and other material in the aisles. I wish their cat food selection was better but $1.66 for altoids? Yes please! The Kettle Brand chips are only $2.66 here which I am so grateful I discovered that!! Some employees could use a maturity boost.

I asked him for a vegetable platter, no only did this lovely tasting piece of art exceed my expectations, I was also taken back by his customer service towards me. Byron Lopez I applaud you, you give me faith in the human race I honestly did not think friendly people even existed anymore but the day I walk into Fairfield Black Rock Turnpike my mind was completely blown by the beautiful service I received, and how friendly everyone was. Byron Lopez should be head of the Produce department for all of ShopRite.

Night and day from Stop and Stop! Much better remarkably less expensive and always 5 star service, wide isles, someone usually (happily) packs your bags and the employees have always been charming and polite! Other than the horrible parking lot, its truly a pleasure to shop here!

Love their staff and price for most parts but only ONE employees that I don’t like .She just don’t like to smile and I don’t know how they keep her over they .i Think she may be have problem with me or something but I see her with other costumers same exact way like me .It’s like something bothering her inside while she is working at ShopRite lol...she look good and clean at work but she JUST DONT LIKE HER TO SMILE.one day I will just tell her to smile.

I really like ShopRite Fairfield, in fact it was one of the many good reasons we chose the town of Fairfield to live. Now, ShopRite is a great supermarket in my opinion much better than average + good prices and great selection. Fine meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, etc.

Love the store the prices are great especially when times are tough staff so helpful Bob the bakery there isnt anything that I dont like about the place I would not shop anywhere up and I love when they have these little things when you spend so much can get a turkey and stuff like that when you spend a certain amount of money I usually give it to someone who is in need of it so it doesnt go to waste nothing would go to waste in our house

I love the fact that its located not even five minutes away from my job so its easy for me to do some grocery shopping before heading home since most grocery stores by my house are usually closed by time I get home from work. I just strongly dislike how unfriendly some of the workers are. As much as I love the variety this shop rite have, Im better off doing my grocery shopping at the stores by my house where the workers are more friendly.
