Pharmacy is thw slowest Ive ever experienced. Store is too small,.there are never carts available, and their stock is always low. Need to hire more people and build a new bigger store to handle to amount of people who shop there. Id rather drive 20 minutes to another store than shop at the this one 2 mins away. Horrible.
Still the worst suburban Kroger. It was poorly stocked when I lived in Fairfield 1984-91, new store larger but no better. High prices. NO cashiers! Have to do it youself! East Hamilton store is much better. Route 4 at Grand. Jungle Jims 1000% better. Only reason to go to the poorly run, poorly stocked Wessel store is convenience. But if they don’t have what you came for.... not very convenient. Also often NO carts in the store so be sure and bring one in from the parking lot.
I’m changing stores. You no longer have Oxi Clean LAUNDRY detergent. You never have Diet Rite Soda at your Wessel Dr. store anymore. Ever since you opened your new Fairfield Twp. stores you are carrying more and more of your own Kroger brands and less name brands at the Wessel store. The Wessel Dr. store is going down hill. I don’t like shopping different stores. I like a one stop store. Even though the Wessel Dr. store is closest, I’ll drive a little farther to Meijer’s.
Store itself isnt bad but its to small for the traffic it gets. I am not kidding that it is busy 24/7 no matter the time of day. And the pharmacy is literally at least 10 people all the time inside and out. Just avoid it. Better off to drive further then deal with that mess.
NOT Fresher than Fresh at all. Get rid of your annoying bragging commercial. Strawberries purchased Tuesday after being inspected had to mostly be pitched on Thursday. A pick up order had bad oranges & another bad produce item.No Lima beans in the store. Green bean Shelly beans, only two cans, tip top shelf. Long lines as usual. Then when another finally opens up, NEW shoppers are allowed to enter while those waiting are ignored. Rude, and poor customer service. Kroger thinks because its the biggest chain in America, it can behave as badly as it wants with no consequences. Wake up! People WILL shop elsewhere concluding ME!
I like shopping at Krogers for groceries other than the lines are longer nowadays cuz it seem like theyre getting all the grocery business but the pharmacy I mean to tell you please listen to me the Kroger pharmacy if you go there and outside you got 10 15 cars most of the time then if you go inside you got 10 15 20 people in line waiting forever dont have enough help if you call him on the phone you get put on hold and then get the automated and the automated doesnt give you the right information it contradicts itself so then you hang up and you call back and you wait and you wait and you wait and then you find out oh its 8:00 now the stores closed isnt that wonderful they got to get more help and Im telling you right now one more problem and Im gone and Im going to start telling everybody on Facebook and everywhere else to same thing.
I love shopping at any Krogers stores as long as they keep on having sells on their food and all I will keep on coming back and long as the employees their stance are always friendly and willing to help out thats what keeps the customer coming back and happy
I have been shopping at this location for a few years now and Ive never had a problem until this year everytime I come the produce has flies and is rotting! So I stopped coming to this location but yesterday I did not have a choice I was in a hurry and once again most of the things I needed were rotten so I tried to get what I could but today I go to make dinner and my potatoes are rotten its so frustrating Ive tried to give the benefit of the doubt that they are probably short staffed and I understand what that feels like but selling rotten food is unacceptable
Restroom is terrible... one toilet doesnt flush, no soap in the dispenser. Its a serious health and safety risk, especially when you consider that employees use the same toilet and could be handling your prescriptions or groceries.
Based on my experience, It isnt recommended to go to kroger fairfield on Mondays. A lot of thing out of stock and no bags to pack your fruit or vegetables and two registers to serve a long lines of customers trying to check our. This kroger has been changing to the worst for some reason. Im thinking of changing it for another store or probably for another brand if things didnt start to get better.
I stopped in Kroger in Fairfield tonight just for milk and just a couple of other things when I got in line at the ONLY one with a cashier I was told she was not taking anyone else. I went to the TWO self check out s and the lines were nearly all the way to the back of the store I am not able to stand that long. When I askedTo see the manager he did not handle the very well
I have been trying to be patient with this store, and every time I am disappointed with the lack of prompt service at the pharmacy and in the store in general. After a year of this pandemic, one would think Kroger leadership would be better prepared to handle the volume of customers. When I compared this store with the store in Liberty Township the difference is remarkable. As customers we deserve better, the zip code should not determine the quality and quantity of customer service. Kroger please, please put people in the store! and update your antiquated “Qvision” technology, let the managers make that call and stop relying on an algorithm to make common sense decisions.
If someone knows a good time to go to this store when everything isnt picked over, please tell me. There was nothing left of the non-organic Kroger brand chicken. There wa hardly anything left in the beef section. And the shredded cheese was almost completely gone. Also, the Kroger take and bake pizzas were down to these 6. I told a manager and she said, not my department. Well be going somewhere else until the store can improve the stock/restock process.
I went to the pharmacy. They are short staffed, and I knew this going in. I have to say they were working their buttons off to move that line. I appreciated the hussle.
Had script sent to pharmacy and per usual the pick up window was closed. How have they not figured out that people getting scripts are either sick, in pain, or have sick children. Forced to go inside, barely able to walk, saw the line stretched from the pharmacy to the cashiers and not moving. Physically unable to stand for very long at a time and all of their motorized cats either being used or out of order, I was forced to leave and had to find someone able to pick up the scripts.
I am a Kroger shopper for life! I love the fresh produce and the multitude of coupons that are for products that I actually buy
Kroger Employees Are Always Helpful!
Worst Kroger ever. Not sure if this location even has a store manager.
The vilest restrooms of any Kroger that Ive witnessed. This is unacceptable, especially in the middle of a pandemic. The rest of the store was fine, but Jesus Christ, Ive been in cleaner gas station restrooms. Ridiculous.
Overall good location, much better selection and better stocking than the Colerain store, despite being smaller.
Major lines to check out and only 4 cashiers plus self checkout. Lines everywhere.
Waited an hour to pickup our groceries just for them to tell us its not ready and come back in 3 hours. This Kroger sucks.
Kroger at Easter has no ham to buy this store in Fairfield is the worst excuse for a grocery store. And the other locations are no better.
Alot of empty shelfs wast of time Ill never go to this korgers only 4 cashier open
Ive been without my medicine for almost a week because of how incompetent this Kroger is, and when I called again to try and figure my situation out the woman I talked to on the phone was very condescending and rude. Ive only used this pharmacy for as long as I have out of sheer laziness of not wanting to switch, but this will be the last time I deal with Kroger in Fairfield.
I love all Krogers, there always clean, they always are helpful and the prices are amazing. There always friendly. Keep up the good work.
Terrible store. Always out of stuff and get rid of the things you like. Corporate should Reassess Management at this store.
Hay Kroger deli manager! Youre Christmas meal ordering was a disaster. I thought that everything was going to be all together, but nooooooooooo! The gf had to get everything together that we ordered. The sweet potato casserole was just nasty. The scallop potatoes were awful. The cornbread dressing was also not good. The only good item we purchased was the ham.We are really disappointed in Kroger and the deli team. Needless to say next time we order food for the holidays, it wont be ordered from KROGER.
Store is great. Clicklist is great. Only downside is that its typically super busy and, they dont substitute being OOS on kroger brand pepperoni. Not sure why. Ive tried to order it through click list several times and its always out of stock, not substituted.
Only store I shop at is Krogers for food
It’s a fine Kroger. I feel like they’re really bad about getting carts out of the parking lot.
SHOP HERE FOR COVID NOT GROCERIES! I guess the nightshift doesn’t believe in COVID! I went there a few days ago and I saw 6-7 workers there stocking with no mask on! As the overhead message says “mask required”! I’m absolutely disgusted by them touching and breathing all over the food as well as the overall lack of selection at that store. So if you want COVID shop there!
Picked up a Click list order. Very unhappy with produce. Ordered iceberg lettuce. Wound up with a pitiful head of organic lettuce. The green pepper we got had a rot spot on top of it. Campbells tomato soup can was dented. I called to complain and they said they would credit me for these items. They never were able to find someone to authorize the credit for me. I just gave up. I should have known better than to not go to Jungle Jims for produce.
I’m not a liquor drinker. Stopped in to buy my fiancé some liquor for his birthday. I didn’t see the bigger bottles of the kind I purchased until I put my card in. Once I noticed the bigger bottles I took my card out and asked can I grab a bigger bottle. The cashier who is always rude when I come there spat back no all sales are final can you read the sign. I was literally standing right in front of him, I can see if I left the store and then came back. But no I was standing right in front of him. I just wanted to get a bigger bottle. I’m done with this location. I will never return.
After your renovations last year you stopped carrying some of my favorite items. Now with COVID your selection is even less, with the parking lot packed everyday I guess it isnt Krogers fault. What is an issue is only having 1 Pharmacy tech trying to deal with a long line of cars at the window. I waited in that long line only to be told they had my incorrect insurance, but if I came back in 10 minutes it would sorted out. I decided return an hour later/after lunch and bravely go inside the store to save time (I havent been inside since March). I saw 2 employees standing by the carts with masks around their chins only a foot apart talking to each other. On the way to the pharmacy I passed 10 shoppers with no masks, AND most of the pharmacy techs werent wearing masks properly either. Do not wear your masks on your chin and do not pull it down to talk to your coworker.
Had Jerrylena for my Cashier and she was rude and nasty to me and to the customer in front of me. Didn’t appreciate that at all.
I was in line and there was this really young kid I think his name was Chris or Christian but he said he was 14 and he was so fast and helpful. One of the best baggers I had in a while he spoke to me and we had a really good conversation he is a good young manHe is definitely a keeper
The blonde lady at the pharmacy with no name tag is incredibly unpleasant. I just saw her Be incredibly rude to an old veteran and refusing to help him with his medication. She’s also parading around without a mask properly on.
I absolutely loved the fresh meat department especially Lonnie the guy that helped me! The fact I told him I’m a beginner-cook He prepped my fish for me and made some suggestions for other items. It was a GREAT EXPERIENCEThe 20 min drive is worth it!Thank youWarrior B
Ordered online. Got confirmation email of order. When I come to pick up the item, my app tells me the order has been cancelled. No email, no call and just a big waste of time. I should not have been taken by surprise, this location has been going down the drain for a long time now and they should not try to provide services that they are incapable of providing.
I just want to say this is a really nice Kroger. One of the best I’ve seen. I love the salad bar. It’s always clean and tastes amazing. Please don’t get rid of that. No complaints here
- Good Prices, Clean Store, Employees Are Helpful!- Through my shopping,I rode a Fully Chargedhandy-cap cart.- I bought 6 Pot Pies, a big bag of crinkled-cut french fries, 1 lb. of butter, 1 bottle of Ketchup, a bottle of mustard, an 18 carton of large eggs, and bag of onions. In total, I spent $17.92, saved $0.30Im happy!
Good food & nice people
Ok
I found some imported noodles on clearance for a sweet deal, but the cashier couldnt ring it up due to a tear in the barcode. Due to shopping with family and a lengthy line behind me, I chose to put the item back instead if holding everyone up to find a replacement. I was still disappointed. The whole situation couldve been handled better.
I always have had good customer service here.
Big thank you to JAKE in the Pharmacy. He took his time twice now to search for a good price on 2 prescriptions, and also showed me how to save money with the Kroger Rx Savings Club! Thanks, Jake!
Lovely manager on duty (De) New employee Brad has a good heart and is trying hard to please customers and do what is in their best interest in meat and fish. All alone. Gracious to the maxx. Even when fuss budgets like me show up
Horrible customer service . 4 registers not open but there were long lines. Other employees around the store but not on register. Started to leave and go somewhere else. Reconsidering if this will remain primary grocer. Going back to Meijer!
Nice clean store. If I owned a Kroger store I would like to own this one. Always seems to be busy. Good parking is hard to find. Besides parking its a good store to go visit.
Made a late call in the day on a Saturday. I called around 3:30 pm, asking if Krogers deli if they could have an order of 100 pieces of chicken ready for dinner for our church. They were amazing and had the order ready when I got there at 6:30 pm. Praise God.Yes, Krogers & their employees rock. Krogers tries really hard to help people and accommodate orders. It was our first Saturday night service and praise since Ive been attending. The chicken was great and a big hit for church members. Their was enough to bless members to take home for themselves and for loved ones.
Shelves were well stocked and had the organic milk I was looking for...
Not the best
Five stars for Jennifer in the floral department. She did an excellent job on my wedding flowers. The price was amazing and the bouquets looked fabulous!
This is my second favorite Kroger. West Chester being my first, sorry. Only bc anytime I go they are usually out of a lot of stuff. Maybe I go on the wrong day?I really like the click list option when Im not feeling like going into the store. I would suggest doing the no substitute option on things you really really want in case they dont have them (like if you want hazelnut creamer and they dont have another brand of hazelnut and give you French vanilla and you hate French vanilla). But otherwise they usually upgrade if you are getting the off brand for the same price as the off brand. If someone is out of town paying for your groceries this is a good option too.The employees here are really nice and Ive never caught attitude from any of them. Even when they are backed up everyone is nice.
Store was all torn up today from aisle resets. Also super crowded as always. Love Krogers meat, chicken, seafood and cheese as well as their bakery. They are priced a little higher than Meijer on most items but their weekend deals are amazing. 24 pack of Coke for $4.49!!!
One of the nicer stores they have. Large selection. I frequent the meat counter and they are incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Never had an issue with anyone not being helpful
Good store. I do grocery shopping regularly here and have for years. Nice variety of products and helpful employees. Prices are usually competitive, and even better if you have their free membership card. I really like that theyve been expanding their health food and vegetarian selections. Weekends are crazy crowded. Try to avoid Sat and Sun.
Shopping here has turned into a nightmare. Ive had several moldy experiences with their produce. There are never enough checkout lanes open so you end up bagging your own groceries when you have a full cart. Which is miserable enough, but when you bring your own bags its even more difficult. There are always Click List carts blocking the aisles. On the rare occasion Im able to go through a regular checkout I end up bagging my own groceries anyway. Shouldnt we be getting a discount for checking out ourselves??
My mother ordered from them . Didnt want to pay the 10.00 charge but given the current situation with health crisis felt it would be worth her time and money. Due to the shortage, Im hoping, 90% of her order was refunded. I would think a phone call to see if she wanted the handful of items that probably didnt even come to the delivery charge would have been nice. It is the last time she will be ordering..
Since the remodel the isles are smaller and harder to maneuver past other shoppers (especially the cereal isle) They are frequently out of items I need and it’s impossible to find some one to check the back stock. So many clicklisters and their huge carts block isles. Check out lines are always way to long! The pharmacy here is wonderful though!
I ordered a photo cake for my daughters birthday and it was horribly decorated. The image strip going around the cake, was crooked and falling off and it didnt have her picture on it. I called the day my husband picked the cake up ( which he should have never got), was placed on hold for 20 minutes. Finally, I hung up. Called the next day, exact same thing happened. Yesterday I went there because I want my picture back. A lady in the bakery told me, Id have to come back tomorrow to speak to someone else. Next time, Im going straight to the manager. If they could not make the cake I ordered, they should have at least called me. I could have ordered it from someplace else. I use to like this Kroger the most, but within the past few months, the wait time at the Bakery, Deli and at Checkout, is way too long.
A clean Kroger with good selection. The Click List is an online option, and the employees for Click List are quick and helpful at this location. The pharmacy has a two lane drive thru. The one downer is the parking lot entrances were not well thought out.
Big fan of the meat here always fresh. And everyone is always very helpful. Thank you Krogers.
Fairfield needs to build a new store. It is way too small for the population and theres never enough room to get around with a cart. Rarely are there enough registers open and employees are rude. The parking lot is too small and the store is old and run down with leaking ceilings and never clean. Please open a new store. I prefer Kroger but since I moved to Fairfield now I only go to Meijers.
All items I needed were in store. Good weekend sale prices. The attendant was very helpful and courteous.
We did a click list order yesterday. we waited almost 30 minutes on the order to come out. When I got v home...less than a 5 minute drive...my frozen items were thawed. I didnt receive my full order. Called the store today. The phone rang probably 20 times before anyone picked up. Then of course the manager on duty was in a meeting🤬🤬
My hometown Kroger. Great people with a welcoming family feel. They are always updating to accommodate our community needs. I have found vegetables VERY fresh and always great prices and sales on seasonal items. I wont buy meat from ANY where else.
They are very well organized. Very friendly and patient with any question you have. When you first pull up, theres a sign tell you to call this number. They do the rest! Just sit and relax!
Fresh Fruits and Vegetables. Great quality meats. Fast and friendly service 👍
I used to enjoy doing my weekly grocery shopping here. About a year ago they rearranged the aisles and the organization has no logic. Common items are hard to find. Try to find a box of Bisquick for example. Im not the only one who feels this way. Spend 5 minutes in the store and watch and listen to the customers. Youll hear the same thing. Unfortunately, Kroger has not heard any of this. The decision to rearrange the store seems to be more for what was in the best interest of Kroger, not Krogers customers. Ive given it a year thinking Id get used to it, but I still have a hard time finding things and it seems the choices have become more limited. I have stopped shopping here for my familys weekly groceries.
This is the first time Ive used the pick up. since my back is out i thought I would give it a try and I love it.Will use again.
Had to wait 10-15 min for a grocery cart, when I finished shopping and left the store, there still were no carts. Store is being re-organized so hard to find things. There were only 3 regular check outs open, I have never seen Kroger like this. Certainly hope this was just a bad day!
Had an amazing experience with Leo in the meat department. Im making beef wellingtons for dinner and he knew exactly what I needed. He cut 4 perfectly sized filet mignons and even saved me beef trimmings to make a sauce. Hes very knowledgeable and Im happy I can ask for his personal tips for meat and fish. Thank you Leo!!!
This is a good Krogers. Clean and bright with decent staff and speedy checkouts. The deli is on the slow side and I wish theyd bring back the terminal for ordering your lunch meat and picking it up at the end of your shopping.
Nice and clean. Found everything I needed. And was thru the checkout line very smoothly.
I had the best experience with a new employee. His name is Michael and he greeted me and offered me help as I entered the store I was lucky enough to have him as my bag boy where he helped me unload the cart and then helped me to my car. He was so polite and had such an amazing personality that I wanted to tip him for going above what was expected. He politley refused but I feel he should get some acknowledgement for the service he provided.
SERIOUSLY THE BEST KROGERS IN THE WORLD. The salad bar is always stocked and the store is always clean and clutter free. Someone is always walking around and willing to help you. Just excellent!
This stores parking lot is tiny for as busy as this store always is. It is always crowded & at times dangerous due to most drivers are very distracted while in this small parking lot. Be careful & watchful at ALL times. As I sat here writing this I am parked in a handicapped spot & the person parked across from me in another handicapped spot backed out without paying attention nearly backing into someone turning into the parking lane. I see this far too often. The best time to shop here is between 6AM & 9AM then after 8:30PM until closing at midnight.
Very nice. Great Customer service. I like shopping at night here because its very quiet.
I go to this Kroger for their small liquor store, particularly their whisky. I have to give a huge shout-out to Tom who works in the liquor store. Fairly knowledgeable on what is in the store, very nice to all customers, and will answer any questions. If he doesnt know about a particular brand he can at the very least tell you how sales are for that item and others like it. Helped me figure out what I want and has always given me the information I need. Aside from that, the selection is good for the size of the store and prices are great. Thank you Tom!
Extremely BUSY! Well stocked and staff was friendly. Difficult to get a parking spot and none available for handicapped.
Employees were nice and friendly. They were also helpful. Kroger had all the items I wanted to purchase. I recommend Kroger to others.
John did a great job. My whole order was there and it was ready when I pulled up. Love this service.
Terrible experience. Ordered chicken, (fried), from the deli. Paid in advance, and left the duplicate receipt at the deli with the order slip. The next day, my sister and I went to pick up the chicken order from the deli, two large boxes. As we were about to leave, the store security manager, ( ? ), ran up to us and demanded to see the receipt for the chicken! I could not believe this was happening. Rather than draw more attention to the situation, I showed him the receipt and left!I called Krogers corporate office to see if it is their company policy to demand to see receipts of a customers purchases. They said it is!Has this happened to anyone else? It wont happen to me again. Ill be spending a lot more money at WalMart!
Phoned in and asked for long-reach matches, 11 or 12 long. Female who answered said, Matches?, which sounded like she might have not heard, for whatever reason, that I wanted long-reach matches, so I answered her question (Matches?) and said again long-reach matches to clarify, so she possibly didnt go check and returned having confirmed that they do, in fact, sell matches (but not necessarily long-reach matches). She then shot back with THATS WHAT I SAID!...MATCHES! She then quickly got someone else to answer my question, so I didnt get an opportunity to reply to her nasty attitude, and tell her she should possibly get a different job... might make her feel better about her condition. Happy Thursday to all :)
Your store is getting worse. A year ago I rated this location 2.5 stars. Way worse now. Staff are rude and you need more pharmacy techs. The pharmacy drive thru wait is an hour going inside is a 15 minute wait. It takes 2 days to get a prescription filled. You cancel my refill request without notifying me. Now Im going on vacation and I dont have my meds. To late to call the doctor to get a new prescription. I will not come here again!
Good place to shop. Really appreciate the motorized carts! I quit going to meijers due to the fact they dont have them to help customers shop easily. And I think krogers has best fruits and veggies
This place has a good selection of items, at a good price. Plenty of parking with good lighting. Friendly cashiers and a lot of employees.
This location is consistently underwhelming. Aisles are always either full of people and or skids/carts of product. And, when the aisles happen to be clear, the shelves are bare. They moved from a 24hr store to closing at midnight a few years ago and thats when I started noticing the stocking issues. I have tried going on different days and at different times, but its always the same. I have left this same feedback with Kroger directly on multiple occasions. The store is just too small for the number of customers it serves. Today I decided to give it yet another try and I noticed they are now running the deli order kiosk system. I placed my order coming into the store, went over to the deli several minutes after the time specified on my slip and the order was not ready. 1 person working in the deli and 4 customers in line ahead of me. I had high hopes of actually getting fresh deli meat for once but ended up getting pre packaged as usual.
Why am I rating a Kroger? Its a Kroger, you all know what youre getting when you walk in the store. This one does have a liquor store though, so thats pretty tight.
I didnt care for the new floor. Looks like they ripped up th old tile and threw a coating over top.I also noticed they did pare down selections.did away with some sizes and some of my items are no longer available. I do like the the new deli and sushi area. Not really liking the whole layout though.
Two employees not wearing masks and 40% of customers NOT WEARING MASKS. Wont return until its a safe environment.
A well cleaned store with great staff and a amazing selection of produce and meats
Dont like em too much. They have sales, but when you get to the register, the sales never ring up right and then when you tell the cashier, they make a big thing out of it. Flies all over the bakery and donut area which are too expensive anyways, employees always in the way when you shop, bread almost close to being out of date. Produce is good, but pricey at times. I dont understand why it is always crowded.
Store run down, eggs on sale 99¢ they HAD NONE, Kroger Cole slaw, NONE, and I could go on & on, but same story this store is really bad. Look forward to ALDI opening in December.
Found some good deals, also helped that I loaded some coupons into my Kroger card.
If Kroger is going to continue the Click shopping service then they need to do so without inconveniencing their customers who do walk in to shop. Tired of having to maneuver around the oversized carts and staff doing the shopping.
