This company is trying to force their people to wear a new type of welding hood that is not mandated by OSHA standards. This equipment is known to cause bruising, difficulty breathing, difficulty in performing duties, etc. The company threatened to fire anyone that refused or even complained about it. While many employees have their complaints about the equipment, they do not say anything out of Fear of losing their jobs as a few have already been fired for voicing their complaints. This company exhibits poor management and treatment of their employees and shows a complete disregard for their safety and ability to perform their jobs as this equipment clearly has its issues and the company refuses to act PROPERLY on those issues. I recommend taking your business to a company that treats their people better than a pack of rats.

My company ordered parts from Howden American Fan as a credit card customer in October of 2014. Our company credit card was charged for over $1300 in merchandise we did not order. I have been calling and emailing Howden since then trying to recover the funds, it is now July 2015 and we still have not received the payment. In all my years of working in the accounting department I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company. I have emailed, never got a response, left voice mails that never resulted in a return call and even asked to speak to a manager. I was put through to Kevin who claimed he needed the credit card number in order to issue the refund but that was in May and as of our June statement there has been no such credit. The least I could do at this point is to let other consumers know the kind of company they are dealing with when ordering from Howden.Update : 12/07/15 Still have not received payment. I was contacted by Howden after I wrote the above review.I was again promised the credit card would be refunded. To date we have not received payment.Update: 06/14/18 Still have not received payment. The email contacts that I have are undeliverable. Please do not ever give this company your credit card info!!
