Ordered and waited fifteen minutes while being the only present customer for this sandwich called Rockys Wedge. Fitting name, the bread was rock solid. The beef was dry and salty, and the cheese was overflowing. I somehow finished the first half because I was extremely hungry, but couldnt even touch the second. This was possibly the worst $10 Ive ever spent.

Im not a reviewer of restaurants, frankly, Im kind of tired of Italian cuisine in Fairfield County as there is an Italian restaurant on every corner. That is until I had the incredible pleasure of eating here at the Italian Kitchen. I walked in with no real expectations, cmon, were eating at a deli, in between the soda cooler and the salad counter. Im very sorry I didnt get the owners name but he did an excellent job starting with the pace of the meal, serving dishes small enough to pass, yet large enough to add to your plate and satiate appetites. Now, the food - each plate was something Ive seen in every restaurant but the marriage of flavors that I experienced in this place was vastly different. From the homemade soppressata - perfectly seasoned, to the fresh mozzarella, the pasta course deliciously balanced and the main - chicken cutlet and eggplant rollatini. A spectacular experience! We were there for just under 5 hours and I left very full and oh, so satisfied. It left feeling like I just attended an Italian wedding, in Italy. Thank you!

OMG good. 40 yrs in business. They forgot the chicken for my fettuccine they took my plate gave me a refill and then the owner made us a hot dessert to make up for their mistake. Great guy, very friendly. Could only give 5 stars deserve more. A++++++++++

Placed an order over the phone at 11:30 for a 12:00 pickup of a single calzone. Arrive at 12:05 with only one person in line and wait for another 20 minutes before its finally finished, giving me 5 minutes to get back to work and eat this extremely hot and fresh calzone. Thank you for making me not be able to eat lunch today.

I made sure I made time to write this review. Myself, my wife, and my grandparents all stopped into the Italian Kitchen for dinner before our long drive to Georgia. The owner, his son, and the rest of his family were absolutely amazing. We felt like part of the family by the way they treat their customers. Of course, the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken wrap (I’m drooling just thinking about it lol). Thank you all!! Next time I’m in CT I’ll be back.

Incredible. Super friendly and the food is some of the best Italian around. A little difficult to see from the street and dont expect white table dining. But it wont matter; youll go home satisfied and yearning to return. Fyi, its BYOB.

Dominic and Dom Jr do everything right for their customers. We have used Italian Kitchen to cater many family events in many different styles, and it has always been perfect for the occasion. This place is also great for a nice takeout Italian meal. Chicken parmigiana is our favorite in Fairfield county.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in 41 years of existence for pizza! The pizza showed up late, they were too busy to call us back and the pizza looked like it was punted through a field goal when it showed up! I never write reviews but this one was worth writing, DO NOT ORDER from here. Ive never seen a pizza place deliver pizza like this ever ! Or say they were too busy to talk on the phone and hang up . If I could give them negative 50 stars I would!

I have yet to go inside the business, but we ordered catering from this place for a meeting and everything was very good. Garlic Knots, A-MAZING! Meatballs were very good, not dry and not mushy, they were perfect; The chicken wings were on the money. I will order here myself in the future.

The guys here love the food that they make...and for good reason, its pretty great. Lots of pride goes into everything. Theyll make you whatever you want but everything is made fresh (and in house) and they have all the old school Italian trimmings. Highlights are the chicken cutlet and roast pork sandwiches (get hot peppers and broccoli rabe on them). Also, great Italian cookies and biscotti.

Sandwich was edible. 2 stars.Ordered a Godson via eat24.Took an hour to deliver from a quarter mile away!Bread was untoasted, cheap grocery bleached-white bread sub.Requested sauce on side, NOT delivered, despite accepting that it would cost me more. Was not charged - simply ignored my request for sauce. The sauce was ordered in case the sandwich was bland, which it was.Cheese was not fresh mozzarella as advertised. Balsamic tastes cheap, overall moderately boring flavor. sandwich kinda small for 9 bucks. See Dibellas for a comparable 9 dollar sub, which comes with everything you can ask for.No pickle, cole slaw or really anything included that generally comes with an expensive sub. For that matter, there didnt even include napkins, silverware, or even a menu.Receipt attributed items to the wrong people. Apparently I ordered a rice ball. Why do they even sell a rice ball? Why is it 5 dollars?!Seriously, an hour?Fairfield has too many nice restaurants for this level of food and service.
