Great staff. My local shop relatively small but they have the basics. They can be a little sales-pitchy but I understand for the new riders who need guidance they are a great help

I LOVE this shop!Im a new rider and the staff here at Cycle Gear in Fairfield are ALWAYS helpful and really concentrate on helping me make the correct decisions on gear as a new rider. They took the time to Fit my new helmet to me knowing that it would be super snug at first and will open up later with more riding time. They have the most knowledgeable staff and they always work with me on returns and exchanges with ZERO hassle. They never ever talk down to me because Im a new rider. They actually help me even more because of it. Because of their fantastic customer service, I will continue to be a repeat customer.

Excellent service! John was extremely helpful especially since I’m brand new to riding. He helped measure me for a helmet and showed me various options. He helped sync my phone to the Bluetooth in the helmet. He showed me gloves, jackets, pants, boots—everything needed for safe riding. Sincerely appreciate his patience and expertise. I’ll be back!

Every time I go there always friendly and very knowledgeable about what I’m looking for.. customer service is awesome.. and the great thing about them is that if they don’t have it they will have it shipped to the store or my home in a matter of a few days..

I bought a Shoei helmet. They didnt have it in stock so they had to get the helmet from another store when I receive the helmet it came in a different box from what the helmet was did not come with a helmet bag came dirty and used looking like it might have been the display helmet and the helmet was almost a year old. I asked for a discount or a newer batch of helmet or even a t-shirt or something he told me he would have his boss call me tomorrow that never happened. I also bought a tire from them a few months before this and they installed it backwards. On a good note the customer service is on point and the people that work there are nice I wish they would have got back to me about my helmet being a year old

Jhon was really helpful and professional. Explain every questions I had particularly and did install my new Evo headset/camera in less than 10 min. Highly recommend

Customer service was great. Helped me choose a new helmet by sizing my head and trying on different helmets. Also picked up an online purchase at the store, so there wasnt any shipping fee.

Bought a helmet boots and gloves, even though I found the same products online for less I figured I would try and keep some of the money local.I was urged to become a member to get a small discount, I agreed and paid the $60 dollars.I was charged $149 for the boots, but when I got home I noticed i must have gotten the special price as the price on the box showed boots were actually $129.My first purchase from the store and I had been swindled and pimped.I took it all back as I dont want to worry about getting burned every time I buy something there.When I went to return everything the guy tried to explain it by saying they go by the SKU and not the price posted on the box.I explained that I cant read SKU codes with my eyes and wanted a refund and had I no intention of coming back. I wasnt refunded the $60 membership fee. So they got me there too.Do yourself a favor and buy online, Amazon, wherever but not here, unless you can read sku codes with your eyes and like going over your receipt line by line. I guess Im glad it happened the first time I tried to buy something there, I found out early on what a rip off the place is.

I really like coming here when I am looking for gear for me or my bike. They have stuff for all types of bikes which makes it a good one stop shop. The people that work there are all friendly and helpful. They also occasionally host bike nights for everyone to get together. If you need a good selection be sure to check them out.

Left a set of new tires I had gotten online from Revzilla and wheels to be change on a Saturday morning. When I returned they had found a gash on the new rear tire so the attempted to get a refund for me but couldn’t get through. They sold me the same new tire and matched the online price and offered help with the return. Very professional and knowledgeable and I appreciate that they paid attention and caught the hash on the new tire.

John helped me find the helmet that worked best for me. He even transferred my SENA module over no charge. 10/10 would recommend.

I have been shopping here for years for all of my bike gear. On road and off road, they have it. The great thing here over getting your gear online is being able to try it on and see if it is what you want.

I called the store and purchased a tire over the phone they were going to mount and balance it for $139. I had my son-in-law take my tire down the next day and they mount and balance it when he picked it up they charged him $260 him not knowing the circumstances he paid it when I called them and confronted him on it they told I was told that they put a different tire on and that tire was $214, and even with that being said they still build me $339 lied to me on the phone and now they have my tire down in their shop that is a malfunction tire that they reinstalled on my rim and they’re closed and have no remedy for this.My advice to anybody that is dealing with the shady shop is to stay clear of it there’s a reason there’s not that many people going in there

This place has the best staff ever. When it gets busy it is sometimes hard to get help but they are always working their butt off here. Always wanting to help figure stuff out and if they dont have it they will help you get it delivered to your house. super honest great people.

My rims were damaged during the tire install. A chunk of metal was removed from the interface of tire and rim. The manager is off for the next 4 days and no one else will take care of issue.

Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This is a smaller store than Roseville, so if you want to try on a wider selection of gear, it may make sense to go there or another of the bigger Cycle Gear stores. However, they have most of the core inventory and are conveniently right off of I-80.

Came in to the store yesterday looking to purchase a helmet and John was really informative and patient with me as I was so indecisive. Helped me get a blue tooth helmet under $300 since I like listening to music. Great customer service.

As with all shopping, Buyer Beware. Being inexperienced in motorcycle repairs I thought my battery was dying based on my experience of automobile batteries. It would crank over and die. Id re-charge it only to have it dead a short time later...So, going to this store I mentioned this to the sales clerk. Being the great employee he is, he promptly sold me a new $172.00 battery... all is good!I put it in... bike started right up! Great, I did well and will not need a new battery for a long time.Only to have this battery die... OK, I must have a ground somewhere... Ill bring it to a shop.Shop: what seems to be the problem?me: battery keeps dying, I put a new one at it died...Shop: do you keep it on a trickle charger?Me: huh?Shop: these batteries dont hold a cold cranking charge and need to be kept on a trickle charger.Me: oh... Ill try that.Harbor Freight is down the road... Ill get a charger there.Battery has been great since...So, my gripe? The Bike employee could have mentioned the cold cranking issue and sold me a charger...

Knowledgable folks, good selection. I go there because dealerships try to get me to buy what they want me to get. The guy today got me into what was best for me being an oddly shaped adult.

I took my helmet back after using it for two weeks and cutting slots for two speakers inside it. They took it back and let me pick another helmet with out any questions. Customer service was very good.

Cycle gear is the harbor freight of motorcycle stuff plus more. They have the expensive name brand stuff but for a fraction of the price they have their own brand that goes by the name Bilt. Bilt is the equivalent of Costcos brand of Kirkland products a mid level for a good price. Having been in an accident wearing Bilt helmet and armored jacket after I got done sliding like a luge racer the helmet and jacket protected me, mind you I was doing 35 mph when it happened but if I was doing 65 mph still have faith it would have held up. And to boot at this location they perform motorcycle repair services. I will update IF I use them for tires, repairs etc. . All in all all 5 stars for product quality and price and service.

The guys here are so helpful and nice! I found a coupon online that he checked out and said they dont usually do online coupons for the brand of jacket I was buying but he gave me the 20% off anyway! Makes me want to keep coming back to cycle gear!

A medium sized store, with good selection of about 5 major moto brands. Happened to visit during a sale event, and they have GREAT sale prices compared to some of the Branded-Only stores.

I just bought my first motorcycle today and I was so excited to go try on helmets!! I Walk into Cycle Gear and they were pretty busy with other customers. I tried on at least 6 helmets, the busyness died down and still not 1 salesman approached me. Ive never bought a helmet before not sure what would be a comfortable fit for me. Not sure about all the styles and truthfully feeling a little intimidated. I really just needed some help and guidance and I didnt even get an well be right with you or thanks for waiting. Dissapointed.

Went there cause I was in a hurry to get gear to go riding the next day, a female was helping me but she just sorta spit rude remarks the whole time was attempting to rush me while I was the only customer in the store then forgot to ring up my gloves which is an honest mistake but then I get home and my jersey isnt in my bag she didnt charge me but what an inconvenience. Idk what she was doing with the stuff from the time she took it from me to the counter but it never made it. Overall just bad vibes from the store Ill be ordering my gear from online shops from now on.
