Stay away. This company is terrible. Do not use them unless you absolutely have to. If your doctor directs you to them, do yourself a favor and ask the doctor for another provider. You can never get anyone on the phone. Now I find out that they have sold a defective product (Phillips Bi-Pap) and are not standing behind it. These guys are very good at separating your from your money - thats about all. Seems like a class action lawsuit in the waiting.

Now I know why this company has such bad reviews. A horrible experience. All of your calls go to a call center and it is impossible to communicate with anyone unless you have 1/2 a day to spend trying. They push equipment on you and then offer no support at all. And when you want/need to return anything...good luck. They are the least accommodating service company Ive ever dealt with. Go elsewhere and save yourself a huge amount of aggravation.

DO NOT USE J AND L!They forget to deliver my oxygen all the time. When I call i am always promised a callback,no one ever does. They leave me without oxygen. You can never talk to a supervisor. They Have it setup that you only talk to an answering service. they are a very dangerous company that DOES NOT CARE about your health. They have caused me harm for not delivering my oxygen. Day 4 still waiting for a return call. Still no oxygen.

I went for a mask and headgear fitting. Parking was a breeze. The entrance is in the front of the building. I was nearly 15 minuntes early. Someone answered the doorbell with 30 seconds. I waited maybe another minute for an associate to bring me to an office. Full solid walls not cubicles awaited me. Lots of natural light. Good start! Apparently I did not need to bring my current headgear to show. She was knowledgeable just with the answers I gave over the phoneto someone else - which means to me that they took actual notes of what I said and didnt have to repeat myself. Looking really good! I ended up leaving with a new headgear and mask, a smile, and no longer going to be wearing an out, outdated set.Im writing this after my first nights sleep. Strange because it was new. Comfortable and was 100% easier to take off/put on my glasses while still wearing my gear!Great ending to my appointment with J & L Medical.

I DO NOT recommend this company. Their prices, even after insurance, are so high that its cheaper to buy directly off of amazon.They also call consistently and wont tell you why they are calling until you give up your name and date of birth. I just dont think its a good practice to be giving out personal information to anyone that calls out of the blue.The Better Business Bureau has given them an F rating.

It seem like the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing..supplies that should have been ordered were not . When I called to inquire where they were was told they were shipped ..weeks later same excuse ..some were finally shipped some still missing ...would be easier to order myself from amazon and deal with the insurance company...

My 89 yr old father, dependent on an O2 concentrator, is coming home to me after 6 weeks in hospital & I was guaranteed a delivery of a machine TODAY ... he comes in less than 48 hours. No delivery - no call - NO ONE to call. 🤬.Will research other options.

The worst company to do business with. If your doctor refers you here, please ask them if there is another provider that takes your insurance. Guaranteed there is. I had the worst experience with a rep, Ashley. She was talking over me, being very rude and demeaning. She hung up on me twice. I kept calling back to speak with a manager. A manager Naomi called me back the next day. After speaking with her, I now know where the reps get their nasty attitude from. And I told her so. A manager that was so rude! I just could not believe it! I finally called and was put through to the owner of the company, Gordon. Got his voicemail. Left a message with a bit of what happened and asked him to call me. Mind you, all these calls are recorded for quality assurance. Being the owner of the company you would think he would want to know how his customers are being treated. You would think they would pull the calls and listen for themselves! I guess not as I am still waiting for his call three days later. I feel sorry for others that think this company is their only option. I called my doctors office immediately after this happened and they switched to another provider that accepted my insurance. Please people, call your doctor! Do not do business with this company! Your doctor can change to another provider! Even if your insurance is paying. Unfortunately, If you need a medical equipment provider, chances are, you are disabled. And you should not have to put up with rude, condescending, snarky and just down right awful customer service. One plus, in my many calls to them I spoke with a lovely rep named Dolores. She was very kind and understanding. I will be contacting the office of Richard Blumenthal as I am disabled. I would like him to know how disabled people are being treated by this company and would like him to investigate. As you can see by the other reviews, I am not the only one. How many others have been treated like this and did not leave a review? I would hate to guess the number of people. Please folks, call your doctor! Find another provider!! They are out there!

Update: They will keep billing you and your insurance even after you cancel their service. Reported to Consumer Department and Attorney General about them.Absolutely terrible service - takes several attempts to get through, and then hard to make an appointment and their billing is a mess too. Also, please note that they are now bought over by Lincare.

Horrible company!! Have been trying to get a cpap machine for over a month. They finally said I could have it but I have to wait a month to pick it up because it is by appointment only. I dont need an appointment to pick up a machine. I have been using one for years. They put me on automatic shipment and sent so many masks they will last years. Useless. They never pick up the phone and if you are on hold because some is looking something up, at 5 you get cut off and never get a call back. Terrible.

Have had a terrible experience. I agree with another reviewer; they do have good respiratory therapists - I used to work with them but the people Ive been dealing with are not only incompetent, but they flat out lie. They said Im covered for another year, and my insurance says the authorization ran out last month, they said my husbands insurance hasnt returned their call for authorization; they insurance company tells me that they (J & L) never requested authorization for him.

Billed in August 2019 for supplies I did NOT receive. Was told I get a credit. Net bill was HIGHER. Four more phone calls got empty promises of credit. Called after Oct bill, credit made 10/14/19, just missed statement. Nov bill still no credit. Nobody at J&L can explain. Filing complaint.

First, it took them almost 2 weeks to set up an account for me with the medical equipment provider and then did so only after I placed several calls for them to do so. When I examined what they did on the account, it was clear they tied someone elses machine to my patient record. I wonder which patient is getting my diagnostic and usage data?Is it too much to ask that they take care of such matters quickly? Is it too much effort for them to check their records to make sure patient health records are tied to the correct Patient?Lincare, are you happy with your acquisition?

I have called 25 times this week to get oxygen delivered for a patient I am carrying for. No one returns calls. You wait and wait and wait for a delivery you are promised and no one comes. In any other business, this would be malpractice. We are looking for another company to use instead. Avoid them at all costs! They couldn’t care less about the customer.

I am desperately in need of a replacement CPAP machine, now, not a week or two or three later. They would gladly see me have a stroke waiting for this, as long as they collect from my insurance company. I am tempted to start a competing business to put this horrible people out of business. I will be demanding that they lose their contract to provide this equipment. They are undeserving of such grave responsibility. One of the excuses they gave is I must have an appointment. Well when I had my first appointment the women spend less than five minutes with me and left. She did not adequately explain how to use the device. If i could give them zero stars I would.

Avoid dealing with this company at all costs. They are poorly organized, poorly managed and poorly run. CPAP supplies not delivered, delivered late. A total mess. Cant reach anyone who knows how to handle anything. I would give zero stars if allowed.

I have been attempting to get supplies for two months. I have been told multiple times that supplies have been ordered and that I am in compliance with the insurance company. When a week passes and nothing arrives, I have called back only to be told they have no record of an order. Save yourself the trouble and find a different supply company. Horrible customer experience.

Id give them a negative. Lost the small foam piece that fits on c-pap machine, told me 2+ weeks to walk in to replace. Was supposed to be on auto delivery took me 12+ calls and months to get service. This company should no be in business. Filing a complaint with State of CT Healthcare Advocates. I WILL NOT REST UNTIL YOU ARE SHUT DOWN AND CLOSED.

Having just transitioned to Medicare, I now need to procure CPAP supplies from a Medicare approved supplier rather than directly from my Drs. office. While the transition to J&L was bumpy (primarily, Im now realising, due to my healthcare providers failure to provide J&L with all the info required by Medicare), J&L has been incredibly responsive in getting all issues addressed quickly. Lisa, in supplies, absolutely rocks!!!

I like the service of my assigned therapist very much, but unfortunately I have had bad experiences with the office. On both occasions when I have called for support from the therapy group in the office, I reached an answering recording, and my calls were not returned the same day or even the next day. The people who answer the phone do not meet my expectations for professionalism. The experience has led me to want to explore other similar services.The last two weekends I received an automated survey call and both times the systems fails to recognize my responses.

Im do to get my cpap supplies in June 2017. Called once in June and three weeks later no supplies. Called again to place same order, weeks later no supplies. Called third time around August middle of August. Supplies at my door Tuesday August 22nd. Two and half months past do. Plus these supplies did not contain the chin strap I needed and no filter for the machine like I usually get. This situation has repeatedly happened over and over again. Its like they dont want you to order from them. Well, I gave them a chance now its time to look for someone else, maybe Lincare. It makes no sense.

Terrible customer service . The left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. Waited months to get my CPAC machine,then when I had an issue with the face mask which their monitoring service picked up on, and suggested a replacement, they wouldnt replace the mask because 30 days had passed.
