Regret sums it up. My order for a patio door was made in Oct 2020. $13K door discounted to $8K because I used Chesley (Company they also own) to install my fence. Install was finally finished mid July. Overall experience was horrible. I was curious if they would adjust the final invoice based off the poor performance of their employees, but they did not. The initial install crew was good but they did not have all the pieces to complete the install. They noted the door color was very different than the house trim. The samples I was shown matched the trim.... The sales guy, Tim Meyer, said it was my mistake for not verifying the color on the form he sent me even though I did not have the samples to compare it to and instead trusted he wrote down the correct one. They would not return it and instead proposed painting it to match. I was told it would be just as durable as the factory paint. The painter came out and painted the door....and the rubber seals. Paint used was cheap and looks how much it likely cost. After waiting months for the remaining pieces, they send out the D crew individual who did a horrible job and left my back patio a mess with metal shavings and nails. He also cut my siding back so much that insulation was still exposed. Caulking was caked on like a two year old did it. I then spoke with Mr. Jacobs and he said he would send out the original crew. They did a good job and did their best to salvage what the previous guy did. The paint on the door is still below average and it will in no way hold up the way the originally door color would have.

Replaced a tub with a shower. Love it! I am very happy with the quality and workmanship of my new shower.

Highly skilled team with fast response times from front office to all the way backend workers. In my case they worked with me on my budget too. Respectful of my needs Within my budget. Good old American values with highest quality work. I would use them again for future needs.

Sales tech listened to what we wanted, answered all of our questions and did not try to oversell or push anything. Install team showed up exactly when they said they would and cleaned up after the first day. Not a single piece of scrap or nail in the flower bed! Same for the second day, and did not leave until we were comfortable with how the new windows worked. A plus all the way around. The windows are great! no longer do I hear the crickets and birds, and my HVAC system is running less after the windows. Great experience!!

They checked in with us several days before they were scheduled to be there. They were to our home on time. Introduced themselves and their workers and went straight to work. They were very efficient and clean. They never hesitated to ask me any questions if there was one. They asked me several times throughout the process if I had any questions about the windows themselves or the work that they were doing. It drizzled rain all day on them and they laid down drop cloths to walk on and came completely prepared to do the work that they needed to do outside even if it were in the rain. They were very friendly and gone in no time. I love my new windows and we have another set of 10 windows to purchase and Jacob will definitely be the ones we will use.

We had 13 windows in our 117 year old, two-story house replaced. Another local vendor quoted us **TRIPLE** what Jacob did, and the only real difference between them is that the other company had lifetime warranty to the window, and Jacob is lifetime to us or 15 years from date we sell.The Salesperson (Terry) was so very helpful, and the lead installer (Kelly) and his crew replaced all 13 windows in a single day. We have a little residual dust that escaped their work area, but they cleaned everything up, vacuumed, and left the house is great shape.It took a little longer than expected to get the windows in stock and installed....but I suppose I should have been more understanding - these werent your average window sizes.Also - my dogs loved them. Even the pup who doesnt usually go for strangers.

Jacob is a reliable family business. We love our sunroom and use it daily. We also had Jacob install new siding in our home after the 2012 hail storm. They worked with the insurance company and helped us every step of the way. I have already referred many family members and friends to their company.

We recently had to have a door adjusted on our Jacob Sunroom. We purchased the Jacob Sunroom more than 15 years ago and fully expected to pay for this service. To our pleasure not only did Jacob come out within 48 hours and adjust the door for us there was no charge for this service. We highly recommend this company and would like to personally think our technician Mark.

Buyer Beware!!!This company does not honor their warranties. Also they commonly are very misleading, will discredit you as a consumer if you disagree. They over charge for services and if you check their work carefully, you will find serious flaws that generally manifest themselves after their warranty. If they cannot nor will not fix, they claim it to be mine subsidence then will no longer show up because they feel they have the right to do so. Buyer please be very careful of hiring this small business. They deceive you with kindness.As for returning calls, they play phone tag, defame the consumers character, and are professional deceivers. Just because a service is in business over 30 years, does not mean they are loyal at truth. Here it means they are loyal at dishonesty and misrepresentation of truth.

We hired Jacob sunroom to install an entry way for our home. Not only was the sales personnel fantastic and easy to work with, the team member that did the work was outstanding and professional! He was extremely kind, knowledgable and very thorough with his work. I would highly recommend them to do any work for anyone in need! Great company! A+++ in my books!

We did meet in court about a separate issue. In court both the President (Scott Jacob) and Vice President (Bud Jacob) of Jacob Sunroom & Exteriors did not deny that the new roof leaked. I expected my new roof not to leak from a company that has been in business for 38 years. The truth is not slander, I suggest you look up the definition. Again, based on my experience, I DO NOT recommend your company.We hired Jacob Sunroom & Exteriors to install a new roof and vents on our house. They installed the wrong vents and the new roof leaked for 50 days before it was discovered which damaged our home. They denied responsibility and then when they installed replacement vents they couldn’t even do that right. I DO NOT recommend this company they are unprofessional and literally cut corners.

My mothet and father spent over 7500 $ on their windows and instalation ..they look terrible been complaining for years and no one would even come out and look at them.. so i would recomend no one ever bye them

We Love our Sunroom - it has become a great addition to our house - we love siting and watching TV in the hot tub - also we love bringing in the pups in from outside through the sunroom during inclimate weather -- much easier clean up as needed. Also - have loved filling our sunroom with STL Cardinals decor - I call it my Cardinal Room!! Thanks Jacobs!!
