Decades of excellent food and customer service!

Just placed a large online order from Virginia. Lot of different foods from linguica to massa to cheese. Everything arrived fresh and in great shape. We love Chaves from our days in Fall River. Great Portuguese food that you just cant get down here. And great service. Obrigado!!

The Chaves family does an amazing job! I love visiting this market when Im in the area. The Meat & Fish counters are worth the visit.

Been here many times store have many good products but the man who is usually friendly at meat department is been very rude lately to meneeds work on attitude to everyone and give respect

Good Portuguese products. There meat is a lil highly priced. There cooked food is pretty good but the marinated pork meat, molho de figado,was old and stale. Thats 2x already thats happened. You ask the guy at the meat counter if its fresh and he lies and saysyeah made fresh this morning. I called with a complaint and the woman on phone told me they were not fresh they were made on Wednesday, this was a Friday.

Great meats, friendly butcher, awesome parking and variety of produce. Cashier just needs to be a bit more welcoming. I felt like I bothered her life. You should always have a smile on your face at work it brings customers back if you give positive vibes. I rate 4 stars dude to the front customer service.

Has alot of hard to find items, they carry alot of do different meats and fish that are hard to find in the area.

I love the food and the store area at Chaves Market but was disappointed that they dont make keys.

If your looking for Authentic Portuguese/ Azorean products this the place to go. From there specialty butcher shop to there selection of fine spirits and wines. Chaves family will assist you with what ever your looking for.

Great store in the city of Fallriver had some good meat cuts from the butcher shop as well as liquor, beer, and wine. Also not to bad with the produce section, they even had frozen rabbit and goat.

Love this place very very good store. They have raw meat, fish as well as cooked food. They also have wine and liquor. And other things like food. Very clean staff are nice they speak english and Portuguese.

This is a great downtown Portuguese market, right in the heart of Fall River. Their food is fresh, they make their own chouriço and linguica, and the service is attentive and friendly.The butchers and seafood staff are knowledgeable and helpful - and are prepared to share their expertise. The selection of cheeses are impressive as well.They sell a lot of Portuguese specialties but also stock the staple goods every good market should have.We never pass by Chaves when we go to Fall River.
