Quite a typical Chinese supermarket, but spacious and clean. Maybe because I went during the week. But it was a good experience with lots of selection. Fast food counter has various lunch things and other goodies, including good quality Chinese BBQ meats. Lots of parking.

If you have interest in Chinese culture, cuisine and traditions, this is the place to go shopping. They have an amazing selection of produce and other type of foods. Price are great!I need to learn to cook Chinese food....I highly recommend the store.

Great Wall has many Asian food selections. Seasonal fruits and vegetables are also good. I particularly like the Shanghai restaurant Cafe where I can get Chinese take out food in no time. Selections and quality are also very good value.

I like to come here for my Asian grocery, and I like to order food at their cafe. Only thing I didn’t like was one of the elderly cashier was really rude. I was trying to help her pack my grocery, but one of the plastic bag was ripped. I went to get a new one instead, but when she saw me getting a new plastic bag, she got mad. She told us not to touch her plastic bag, and she would pack them herself. We took one extra plastic bag to lighten some load, and she yelled at us telling us to pay extra $0.10 per bag. Other than that one elderly lady, everything is fine. Watch out for their plastic bag, it is very delicate item there.

Just tell them how you’d like your fish cleaned and dressed, and don’t forget to tip them.

You can pretty much find anything here. Everything is also super fresh and high quality. The food court is awesome as well. Only downside is parking spaces are kinda tight

I found some kimchi, burdock root, sweet potato noodles. They have fruits and vegetables that you cant find at Western grocery stores. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly.

Reasonable pricing all the time and they usually always have what Im looking for in stock. The new coolers where all the frozen seafood is nice and organized now as well. The staff has always been polite.

You can get most of your veggies here through out the year. They are fresh.

I bought 15 lbs red dragon fruits on sale 99c/ ea lbs but after I ate 2 of themMY urine turned pinkI thought its not growing right. They might water with some kinds of chemicals makes my urine died to that color.I will return them today. I urologist advised me not to consume them anymore

The hot food deli has pretty good breakfast items. They take card. The fresh fruits and vegetable section is organized and presents well. There is definitely the fishy smell as you get closer to the seafood and meats section.

The prices where quite fair and the selection was good. Gave me the feel of being back in small town asia. Friendly enough staff, and well maintained. Will be coming back, especially if my attempts to get my wife to cook phố are successful.

The staff was very assiduously trimming and stacking especially fresh greens. Fish was good and well priced. Everything orderly and great variety.

Lot of Asian groceries supplies. Various kind of live sea food, fish crab, lobster, shrimps. Price are very reasonable and lower than other Asian markets.

The services at this Great Wall grocery store at Falls Church is often an issue. The new problem today is no cashiers available until 9 am but only a staff at the service desk. It took me for about 30 minutes on the line to get my turn but afterward I had to work out an overcharged item with the poor young man. One word to the store owner or manager: the impact of such non-satisfied services is lasting, and eventually the store will suffer sales loss because unhappy customers will try NOT to visit your place again in the future. Why did not arrange one or two cashiers on duty during the earlier hours??

Great Wall is my go to for all things Chinese cooking.They always seem to have the hard to find items.For example, today I got fermented black beans.They will find their way into my chicken & green peppers.

Buyer beware! Their cashiers always make mistakes while punching in the prices and funny thing is it’s always more than what you should pay never less. I’ve been shopping there for years and notice it’s happening a lot now. This is cheating your customers! I will never shop there anymore!!!

Looking for mango flavored Sunflower Crackers . My friends son likes ramen so I took a photo of the entire aisle of ramen options. Wide variety of Asian foods, produce and fresh meats. Wish I lived closer and knew how to use more of the foods.

Today a friend said she needed a particular type of fish, we came here, got the fish and met a lot of people who are not even Asian.If you too want to try something different, check out this place, you will not be disappointed.

Always an awesome trip in their produce ...

Last weekend my wife picked a pair of 2 for $1.98 snacks. After checking out, I saw the price on the receipt was $2.99 each for 2. Thats about $4 more than expected. I bet most customers never notice that. I talked to the cashier, and her first response was Thats not my fault. Then she said the promotion was over and some customer must stick out the expired price tag. How ridiculous? Then I went to the customer service to return these expired deal, but no one was there. Other workers passing by just told me to be patient. I waited for about 10 minutes then left, b/c I had no idea if he/she will be back and when.This store just stole $4 from me. I was wondering if some customer steals $4 from this store, can the store tolerate that??

The services in the store have declined rapidly ever since this pandemic. Last weekend, I shopped there; after I ordered some fresh meats, I wanted to ask a question, but before I could ask any question, an older gentleman there told me, if you are not buying, get out of here! I am not sure how could this supermarket employ such an unprofessional person to serve the community or allow him to work in such a manner? This was not the first time the employees were mean since this summer.There are Asian stores like H-mart, Good Fortune, Ranch 99, and many others. I wont go back there to get humiliated again.

In here you can find lots of vegetables that you can not find in any Kroger, Tom Thumb or Walmart. I highly recommend this supermarket.

Great Wall has a wide variety of fresh produce, live seafood, and pretty much anything needed for Chinese cuisine (and a variety of other asian foods). The hot food area has good Cantonese BBQ meats, lunch boxes, dim sum, and baked goods.

This happened last night. This old chinese lady rude cashier is trying to tell me that the green leafy vegetable I picked up to buy should be 1 pc only per pack @ $1.98. Since it was 2-pc per pack, she removed the other pc and asked if I would still like to buy. Great service!!!!! Please don’t do that when your customer are ready to pay for the item. Also you have contaminated the vegetable by touching them when you’re also the cashier at the same time. For the $150++ that you paid to them, she would argue for the $1.98 item. You’re maybe loyal to your store but please value also your customer.

Cashiers doesnt speak English and I dont speak Spanish. She is also not happy working there.

I go here for my special sauces. But as someone who isnt Chinese I get some funny looks. The staff who do the stocking will help you but you can tell they are not paid well.My 3 stars isnt because its bad... Just not the best of service.

Excellent variety of fresh produce at rock bottom prices. Fish not always reliable. For example, sometimes cod fish tastes suspiciously like frozen. But, but, the deal on price makes the gamble worthwhile as long as the eaters are family! Selection often limited on items such as heavy cream or special flours for cooking so this cannot be my only food market.

The store is fine, but the restaurant is horrific.DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THE RESTAURANT inside the store. They were serving WITHOUT any personal protection equipment - no masks and no gloves amid the pandemic. There was one lady who apparently attempted to wear a plastic food mask, but she wore it UPSIDE DOWN LIKE A HAT which exposed her mouth to the food. It looked extremely unsafe. Wish I had taken a photo to report to authorities.But I DID take a photo of the drumstick they served which was almost completely raw and inedible. Alongside the fact that the staff were never anything near friendly, there must be something completely wrong about this business. Please avoid it for the sake of your own safety and others.The grocery store is fine, but I couldn’t find the link to this despicable restaurant so I had to put it here.

This particular Great Wall market is a subpar Asian market. The store is clean, the space is fairly large, and the variety of food is limited.There are several things that the management needs to improve:1. Lots of products are missing price tags or misplaced on shelves.2. Price tags are tricky for some discounted products, for example, on sale products with price tag such as two for $5, not like any other grocery stores, here you literally need to buy two to get sale price, sometimes the price could be even higher than $5 if only buying one.3. It was quite eye-opening to see some staff eating the fruits while restocking them.4. The cashiers refuse to accept Amex card, though Amex recognizes and recommends this store as small business in the system.5. Some of the grandma cashiers were quite rude to urge the customers to pack groceries by themselves.

A big Great Wall location with a lot of offerings at reasonable prices. I didnt find the quality of any item I had direct experience/exposure with to be concerning and the staff seemed quite friendly and helpful. It is a gigantic branch and has essentially every possible Chinese food or ingredient imaginable.

I think the fresh products are very good, fair prices but seafood area I cannot say the same thing 😕, we had bought tilapia fillet but when I arrived home and we take it out from the bag it was really horrible the smell that came from the fish it was spoiled, otherwise I give them 5 stars.

Plenty of Asian ingredients so that i wont miss the wonderful Singapore dishes as much. And they carry most of what my mom needs for her cooking.

A great Chinese market, though parking can be a little daunting . They have excellent produce and great butcher and seafood sections.

It is sensory overload... a grocery store plus an open air market. You get great produce dirt cheap and some of the freshest seafood around. Also a nice butcher counter. All your Asian products (and more) condiments to frozen provisions. Theres even a food court type! The food court serves up (real/authentic) Asian dishes. Great special too... rice, 3 choices of entrees and soup to boot for a very low price. Its lunch and dinner for me! Theres even Asian sundry items. I can get lost for hours (Dang! Just like my father!) Go experience it!

The prices here are 20% higher than H-mart. Some products are incredibly expensive. They do not clean the carts, no hand sanitizer provided in the entrance. They do not care about their customers. All they care about is money.
