Charlie helped us try on snowboarding boots and explained the difference between different snowboards, which was a phenomenal experience. He explained everything in a concise and clear way, and we left feeling like we got all the information we were missing to make our snowboarding much much better. He was not pressuring about buying a product and when we said we wanted to buy things as cheap as possible, he gave us other suggestions including the sales coming up. 10/10 experience, best sales rep Ive ever met.

The most helpful employees Ive ever spoken to! Got info about which skis I should get, literally every detail I needed and specific skis as well, and was fitted for boots. Super easy to figure out what you need once you talk with them - they really know their stuff.Also, their big blowout sale is usually 1st week of October or sometime in September - a lot of skis and boots discounted 40%. Its called First Tracks (formerly The Dilly sale) and happens when they receive all of the excess gear from Texas. If youre trying to save money, get your gear off season or during this sale from the store. Also, if you buy your skis or board here you get a free lifetime waxing which is convenient (I believe thurmomoldable boots are also free to put in their oven if you buy them here).

Customer service is pretty awful. I’ve had better experiences at the DMV. Decent selection, but almost doesn’t feel worth it. Will be looking for another ski rental location next season.

Decent selection but poor customer service. I was considering buying a bike here but was ignored by all three employees. There were only 4 customers in the store...I simply took my business elsewhere.

The bike repair service is excellent here. Brandon and Rich were not only knowledgeable, they are honest and considerate to advise only what a customer really needs. Their turnaround time is also quick with great communication. Highly recommended to take your road, cruise, mountain or ebikes to them for any work.

Had a really great experience here. Charlie who helped me fit my boots was super knowledgeable and helpful. Best of both worlds they have competitive online prices and US Network, combined with local service. Got my boots shipped from the internet at a great price and got them fitted in the store. Best place for snow gear. Went to 4 other places before this place. They had lots in stock, knowledgeable staff. The staff fitted me or snowboard boots. Got a lot of cold weather gear that all came in very handy.

Weve always had positive experiences at Sun & Ski, but were especially pleased with their service this month. Given the pandemic, we decided to lease skis for our kids for the season to avoid time in the lodge. The staff were courteous, safety conscious and efficient. Unfortunately poor selection of items beyond apparel and equipment. Looking for some wax, a brush, an iron and a scraper. A pilfered area of the shop described as whatever we have left with a couple different waxes strewn about was the level of commitment to maintenance options for skis and snowboards.Honestly, an iota of effort here would make a world of difference.

I wont bother to get any ski boots or equipment from here. I called and asked if they customized the arch support bed for the ski boots. They dont. A good ski shop would do that.

I got all my ski equipment here this week and was helped out by Charlie. He was so helpful and it was needed as I havent skied in years. He was patient with me and explained everything very well. He made me very comfortable with my purchase and ill definitely be back for any other winter sports needs.

Incredible customer service! Was not expecting anywhere near that attention to detail when getting fitted for skis and boots. Joel spent 1:30 pulling 6 pairs of ski boots helping me find the exact right ones. These folks know what theyre talking about and arent simply selling products. I bought a brand new set of head skis for lower than what I would have paid online. This shop has an excellent selection of quality products. They gave good advice and were very fair in their dealings.

I needed my snow board tuned up. I went to drop it off and they indicated it would take 10 days to do the work. 10 days later I called to check and make sure the work had been done. After being put on hold for 15 minutes I was told they had just finished working on it. When I came to pick it up, it was not finished. They finished it while I waited. They did good work on the board but the store didnt seem well managed.

I had my ancient skis waxed and tuned here and they did an outstanding job and it was a breeze dropping them off and picking them up.

Great place to buy new/used Ski-snowbaord gear. Determined staff will be sure to help you find what your looking for. It took us about 5 hours to find our gear and get fitted. Staff also keeps you entertained as well. They were even cool enough to allow our furry friend to join in the store. Very pleasant visit. Will return again!

Place was great. If youre looking for a more outdoor activity coat, this is better than the Burlington coat factory that is behind it. However if you are looking for a fashionable coat then Burlington is where youll want to go. This place was having a sell at the time I went but the stuff that wasnt on sale was reasonably priced. One coat matched the price as the same coat on Amazon, and one coat was $100 cheaper than on Amazon! (I always look up the same items in Amazon because I can save a lot of money that way)

As a novice skier, I bought a set of skis and boots here late in the season couple years back. The boots constantly felt tight and the salesman assured me that they were supposed to be tight to ski. After only a couple ski trips, I brought them back to the same salesman and told him they were too tight and super painful. He pretty much ignored my complaints, again assured me thats the way they were supposed to fit and sent me on my way. Only later, in preparation for this season when I went to a completely different store out of town for the same problem did the guys there tell me these boots were THREE sizes too small on me. These boots are now worthless to me and I will gladly drive 3 hours out of my way than shop here again.

Now called Sun and Ski. Needed to be fit for downhill ski boots. My feet are a bit wide. Excellent and patient sales staff fit me a pair of boots and at a very reasonable price. Cant wait to try them out!

I want to start this post by saying Ive always received top notch service from this location. I gave the store a call today to inquire about my broken highback on my union force binding. Spoke to someone in the shop who decided to be rude the whole conversation instead of actually helping. He spoke over me for a solid minute straight, and instead of helping me find the part I was looking for told me Id be happy to sell you a brand new binding. TO BE CLEAR, the part I am looking for costs no more than $20 to replace, and takes about 5 minutes to try and fix (glue together). This has been my location of choice for just about everything the past few years from board tune ups to boot purchase/fitting, but I have no interest in giving this store any of my money ever again after the way I was just treated on the phone. A damn shame that one bad apple spoiled the bunch for me here.

Friendly service and great people in the repair shop. The prices arent the cheapest around, I wish I had just gotten my board waxed at the slopes where its $15. Hear it cost me 30 but they did edges as well. If youre super rich and want to buy the hottest gear in town, this is the place to do it. That being said, I just wanted to find my girlfriend some decent, warm gloves jacket and pants. REI gave us more for the price. To give you an idea what Im talking about, the first thing we found on the shelf that looks nice and we wanted to have her try on turned out to be $800 for the combination Pants and Jacket. Unless its filled with aerogel and diamonds, that price just doesnt do it for me. Go to Ross and you can find plenty of gender-neutral stuff in the mens section. Or better yet, go to eBay and get the Chinese knock-offs from there or Amazon. A friend of mine had the literal knock off of the super expensive jacket and let me tell you, it was the same freaking thing without the North Face logo. The quality was just as good and it was extremely warm. Also, we met the stupidest service rep in the world. Hes trying to get my girlfriend to squeeze into a size 7 boot when shes about a seven and a quarter. The thing to do is to get her a seven and a half and some fluffy socks. Shes bad circulation and cold feet all the time. This guy was trying to convince her that some paper thin fancy wool socks. Dont let the stupid sales rep take away from the really great shop team. Its a shame I have to put them both in the same review.
