Y’all are going to think I’m playing it fast and loooose with the 5 star rating here because I’m about to kick it off with a few items that have room for improvement- but also they’re just character traits of a very nice business to do business with...It’s hard to hear back from these folks- BUT if you show up in person and establish a relationship with them- THEY WILL HAVE YOUR BACK! They’ll rescue your boat, they’ll toss your mooring in last minute, they will stay late to help you! I’ve never met a boat yard where a tech with sit with you, review their findings and start the fix on a Friday afternoon after 4pm.. that’s pretty rockstar!They’ve got a travel lift, fuel dock, bevvys for sale at the dock house, knowledgeable mechanics and a lot of off season storage space. DiAnna at the desk is a great help- she’s kind, lighthearted and super happy to walk you thru pricing and the membership process. Criag, the service manager, is fantastic. He knows a lot about a lot of different boats. He’ll dock walk with you, connect you with the right yard personnel and he’s done a nice job handling this covid situation. Don, the launch/ waterfront guy, is a boss! He knows the mooring field like the back of his hand and he’s always got a good dry joke to share.Plus, the attached restaurant is super yummy! Big fan of using them for mooring services, short hauls for surveys and a great spot to grab lunch!

Staff is super. Place is well kept. All the facilities are clean and the restaurant is bomb!

Top notch service; these folks actually care about you as a customer and take pride in what they do. All work I have had done here is always finished correctly and on time. Also there is Hallet Canvas on the top floor so you can get everything you need in one location. Best boatyard near Portland hands down.

In my experience you can tell a lot about a business by how happy the employees are that work there. I can say first hand that the employees are one happy bunch. The men and women of Handy Boat and Dock Side Grill are first rate and it shows in the quality of their work and customer service.

Tons of moorings a great launch service. The restaurant is pretty good too.

An ocean of moorings does not a marina make...

Dont expect them to be able to do any type of basic maintenance on a power boat. I have kept my boat here for the past two years and it has been a horrible experience. Stephanie the lead tech is completely useless. Stay away from the service department.
