Oh my gosh I hadn’t seen Diva in years. She used to dress me for the stage n she owed her boutique clothing store. I walked into Alan Evans feeling a bit lost on finding a dress for my daughters wedding. Wow! Best surprise ever! There was Diva! It felt like going home. I have been looking and looking for a Mother of the groom dress for my sons wedding in October. Had one ordered online from a random shop and was told due to delayed shipping from India it would possibly get here the end of September so I was able to cancel. I called RSVP and they said come on in and it was THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Diva was the absolute best! And so much fun, I didnt want to leave! Within an hour I walked out with the perfect dress, earrings and bracelet!! She is so talented and experienced!! And I am certain my alterations experience will be the same!! 10 STARS!!!! Kara was absolutely AMAZING to work with. After trying on many dresses I fell in love with 2 of them and I bought one. After going home and feeling a little insecure about the decision that I made, they were very gracious about letting me come back in the same day to spend a little more time in both dresses. When I fell in love with the dress that I bought all over again, they did not make me feel like I wasted their time. They made very sure that I was 100% happy with the dress that I ordered.

The staff was very professional. They were upfront and honest about the dress that looked best on me. It was easy to see that my consultant had my best interest at heart. She was not simply trying to make the sale.

We have used RSVP/Alan Evans twice. The first time was at the Moorhead location. Our experience was awesome! Rand & the team were helpful and made our experience perfect. We expected the same thing at RSVP for our second daughters wedding for bridesmaids dresses. I reviewed the Moorhead location as a 5*, RSVP. The store has a good location. After airing some concerns about staff, Rand called me personally to chat. He is someone who cares about his business and satisfying customers. I so appreciate him reaching out!

Worst service ever!! Very rude!! Had a appointment for bridesmaids dresses, they overbooked with prom and we got pushed to the side. Ruined the whole experience for us. When my daughter got her wedding dress there we were told by the associate that was helping us that we could order the bridesmaids dresses two months before the wedding, the owner said it wasnt possible that she had told us that, when the whole bridal party heard her. He brought her to the front and in front of us and other customers and confronted her and of course she denied it, making us look like liars and embarrassing us. We did place a rush order despite all this and then were told we would find out Tuesday if the order was accepted or cancelled. We left there very upset, went to Davids Bridal had excellent service even though we had no appointment, found the dress we couldnt get in time at Alan Evans, and it was a hundred dollars cheaper. We cancelled our order at Alan Evans and then got a phone call back saying sorry and that the owner had a talk with the associate. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!

If you buy a dress from there be sure it fits because the person who does their alterations doesn’t do a very good job. I spent close to $700 on a dress including alteration cost and she ruined the dress, I am not happy! I was told it would be no problem to take a dress in 2 sizes and wouldn’t compromise the structure of the dress, I so wish I would have said no and ordered the dress in the proper size. She messed up the back which she did fix but after I got the dress home and took it out of the bag I noticed sloppy work. The dress was hemmed up and the cut and hem lines are crooked, the layers of the dress are not cut to the same length and there was a 4 inch piece of fabric just hanging there. Under the arm pit the seam on both sides is ripped on a brand new dress?!? Loose and long threads everywhere. I spent this much money I expect attention to detail and my dress looks like it was a rush job!UPDATE: I talked to Rand exactly one week ago and he agreed this dress shouldn’t look the way it did and he would get ahold of the seamstress who did it and have her get ahold of me, it’s been a week and I still haven’t heard from her. I went ahead and trimmed all the loose netting but I didn’t dare cut the loose threads where she took the dress in as I didn’t know if it would unravel the seam so I wanted to talk to the seamstress to see what I should do, I also am left with two rips in the steams under the armpits. When we purchased the dress I was told by an RSVP employee this seamstress was the one who did their prom dress alterations, I did not seek her out. Whether she works for rsvp or not is irrelevant to me at this point, rsvp gives her a spot to come in and do alterations for them, I wasn’t given the option to work with anyone else who might actually be employed by them. I’ve spent almost $700 on a dress and alterations and I am not happy! My gut said to order the dress in the right size, I should have listened.

The most incredible hands on service. Attention to detail. Top Quality, top designers and even their own line. I felt like i was the only one in the room. They know and understand how important your decision will be. They listen to what you want, but i also respect they also brought out a few things for me to see, that i never would have picked on my own, that would really flatter my body type... and guess what.... they were RIGHT!... what i THOUGHT i wanted and what was really the best and most beautiful choice, was something i would have at first passed over. They know how to help you look your very best, most beautiful.... and when you feel that confidence, you shine even more. They LISTEN, and they respect your budget. They dont push you on things out of what you can afford. They gave me so many options, ideas and the most caring dedicated people. I have made several purchases for many high end events... Alan Evans does so much more than just Bridal!!! From every person there, from the initial greeting at the door, to the detail and quality of alterations, their commitment to excellence is one of a kind. There arent enough special things i can say about everyone on staff and every single item i have received from Alan Evans. Trust me, save your time and just stop there FIRST and save yourself so much time. They have something for every budget.. These people really care.. Its not just thier business,, you can tell they love being apart of some of the biggest moments in peoples lives. They love being a part of that magic and making what you wear such a great experience. i swear on my reputation, they are the BEST.

Honest question, how is this place still open?I ignored the negative reviews and gave it a shot myself, but that was a mistake. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Very rude, disrespectful, and very disorganized.After placing and confirming my appointment, I still wasn’t on their schedule. Then they were rude to us during our whole ‘appointment’ after they messed up.We wanted to leave as soon as we got there..Their dresses were way to overpriced as well. You can find the same quality of dresses for HALF the price elsewhere. Wasn’t impressed..With these prices, the quality of dresses and the quality of service should be a lot better!..

I had a GREAT experience at Alan Evans. It was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses and the staff were so helpful as I didnt know what style I wanted. I tried on several dresses, some of which I was able to pick out, and then more that the staff picked out based on what styles I was liking. The staff that helped me definitely had experience and knew their dresses. They were overall amazing with giving suggestions and different ideas. I would highly recommend going to Alan Evans for your bridal needs!

I found my dream prom dress for pretty cheap in this store. The workers were so nice and made me feel really good about myself. They have a huge selection for all sizes and they gave me a gift bag with a really pretty water bottle and t-shirt that can fit anyone. I loved this store and I definitely recommend it.

I chose Alan Evans as my first bridal store experience because I was expecting to have an amazing day with my family picking out the dress of my dreams. What I got was FAR from that. My consultant could of cared less about helping me. I was looking for guidance in terms of what dress style would work with my body type or at least some kind of direction towards styles I should be looking at. Instead I basically got a dressing room and someone to zip me up. I thought my consultant would be knowledgeable about the selection and would be able to help pick dresses for me. But I was surprised when I was asked to go grab dresses off the rack to try. As someone who had never tried on a wedding dress before in my life...where was I even supposed to know where to start? I left in tears and was so upset about the wasted day. I’m praying not all stores are like this and some have consultants who take the time to get to know their bride, understand what look she is trying to achieve and provide recommendations.

I had a mixed bag of experiences at Alan Evans. When I went there and found my dress, I had a wonderful consultant. She really listened to my feedback, and she helped me find a belt to add to my dress to make it just that little bit extra special. I loved my dress and received a thousand compliments on it. I went back with my bridesmaids to get their dresses, and that experience was mixed. We went two times one to try on a lot of dresses and narrow it down a little, and another time to pick our the final bridesmaids dresses. The first appointment the consultant was very helpful, and the second time not so much. We were told poor information on when the dresses would get in which caused a lot of stress. We did get the dresses with plenty of time to get alterations taken care of so everything did work out. I went back one more time with my mom to find a mother of the bride dress. That turned into a disaster. We found a dress she really liked, but the sample was in black. The tag said it was available in silver so the consultant showed us a swatch and we ordered it. The dress arrived and it was light purple. Not remotely silver, and purple is my moms least favorite color. She was so upset she went and bought a second dress.

I worked with this company from shopping for a wedding gown, to picking out my moms dress, to picking out a veil. I cannot speak more highly about this business. We have had such an pleasant experience working with the whole staff to make my wedding perfect. They are amazing!!!!!!

Alan Evans was a great experience for me. I bought my wedding dress there this Saturday and the service was amazing. I tried on lots of different dresses and my consultant Mel was awesome at understanding what I wanted and didnt want. When I finally picked a dress the store manager came in and helped to get it clamped so I could really see what it would look like in my size. They were so helpful and so excited for me to find the dress I loved. Would definitely recommend!!

After coming in from out of town, I was rudely told that they had no time to measure me and take my payment for my bridesmaid dress for my cousins wedding. This was after the bride was told we could just walk in. A gentlemen took my measurements but I apparently wasnt allowed to take my payment. I called back Monday to place my order and the measurements that were taken were never put into the computer and they couldnt find them. I had to then go and pay to have my measurements taken in Minot. When I called in to pay I was told no one but Val could process my card. Finally someone was able process my card. I am a student and have class all day, I then work at nigh, when I get breaks to make phone calls I dont enjoy being told I can call back or the person can call me back. I understand trying to keep one consultant per wedding but no one being able to take my card is a bit ridiculous. I think communication could be worked on. It was a poor experience to say the least.

Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced!!I went to Alan Evans bridal to look for bridesmaid dresses last weekend. It was an overwhelming experience. My attendant was nice, but she was giving me misleading information. I would ask what dresses came in my colors and she gave me the section to look in. When I found a dress, I was double checking to make sure it was the right color and she came back and said that it didnt come in that color. I kept looking and was able to find the dresses I wanted, and I was very happy with them.I called back a couple times to verify certain styles and colors. Each time I talked to the same person and she was unbelievably rude! I called on a Monday and they were apparently really busy with walk-ins and she was rushing me and kept telling me how busy they were.I came back today with a couple of my bridesmaids because they wanted to get measured and try on the dress. Most of them live out of town but were in town today and was able to come to the store. Mandy, whom I spoke to on the phone earlier, was extremely rude to me! She urged the fact that they were busy and had a lot of appointments and she was the only one that could do measurements and put in orders. She told me to come back on a Monday or Tuesday which wasnt going to work because they are from out of town and the dresses needed to be ordered ASAP or they wouldnt get here in time. She kept telling me how busy they were and was using very rude tone. She made me feel very very unappreciated. At that point I was about to walk out and look for dresses elsewhere, but someone that was new was apologizing to me and found me someone else who took care of me and my bridesmaids. Val was so helpful, and they were able to try on the dress and get everything squared away. Thank you Val!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I went into look at dresses and was completely ignored by the attendant who was supposed to be helping me. I watched other individuals get tailored help and wondered if I was being ignored due to size. Thankfully my mother and sister helped. The bridesmaid dresses were not ordered in a timely fashion and had to call in to make sure they had been ordered and received the run around several times. I asked to speak to the owner, who in turn, did not care about my experiences. When I went to pick up my dress, I was treated rudely and stood there for about 5 minutes waiting for the people at the register to stop taking selfies and to help me. I wasnt asked about alterations or if I wanted to try it on. In fact, I had to ask for my dress because the attendant didnt even give me it after purchase. I also asked to make an appointment for alterations and that wasn’t done.I wish I had went with another bridal shop, however, I paid for all of the dresses and everything is non-refundable.Also if you complain they will refuse you any service such as a dress alteration right before your wedding. So buyer please beware!!!

Out of 8 individuals who ordered tuxedos/attire, only 3 fit. Pants were very short and too small, jackets and shoes were too small. All individuals were personally measured by staff. The bridal party was under the impression they were paying $99 each due to a special sale. When suits were picked up, the price was $240 each. Extremely frustrating! Lots of stress on the bride and groom, as the grooms shirt was the only piece that fit him. The store did overnight a different tuxedo. At my request, it was sent to our home, as we do not live in Fargo. The staff was kind and courteous, however, no one answered the phone for several hours, and the answering machine does not take messages. Personally, I would not use this establishment again.

Ordered 8 suits for a wedding, and only three were the correct size! We had to have a suit shipped overnight by UPS the day before the wedding, with the store being unconcerned about any issues. All the guys had been measured and sized months in advance. Would NOT recommend this store!

I started my search for a dress at a place in Fargo, ND. I was immediately directed here by a family member after my first experience. I have to say what an extremely professional place! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! The girl that helped us definitely knew what she was doing! The dress she picked out I didnt even want to try on. I did and it happened to be the dress I said YES to! I tried on less than 10 dresses before finding the one and I can only thank the girl helping us. If it wasnt for her I would of never fell in love with my wedding dress! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful experience!

I am not a person easily upset. My experience with the purchase of my wedding dress from this business was beyond appalling. The dress was months late. The bodice was the wrong color. It was damaged, with netting that was unfinished, and edges of the appliques were frayed. Mandy, the manager, refused to do anything when I called over the course of several months. They couldn’t tell me where the dress was made or coming from and couldn’t provide any shipping or tracking information. I purchased the dress on January 6 and it was initially supposed to arrive in June. It came on October 24. Details of the contract were somehow changed without them telling me, and they refused to provide it until I came into the store, and even then they would not provide it without significant resistance. Alan Evans still has my $850 deposit, and they said they would never refund it but “we could do the court thing”. They know I need a dress. They left me an in an extreme time crunch. I went to the store, asked to discuss with the owners, Rand and Mark, and they went ballistic. Eyes wide, yelling, running (literally) in and out of rooms, all the way saying nasty things. In my life, I have never spoken to in a such demeaning way. I was called names, and they said that brides are just “vulnerable, emotional, anxious, and hysterical, and they forget what their dresses look like”. This company should not be in business. Something is really wrong here.

Friend’s wedding gown was breathtaking. That is the only good thing to say about experience. Staff was rude. Tuxes were messed up (one pair of pants was about 4 inches too short, one jacket two sizes too big...) and bridesmaid dresses didn’t arrive until 10 days before wedding despite being ordered over 6 months prior.

Alan Evans has AMAZING customer service. Lots of people willing to work with you and find a dress within your budget that also looks beautiful! Also a HUGE variety of dresses. Will be recommending to all my friends and family!

I went here with my daughter for her bridal appointment and right away when we walked in the lady was not very nice. I thought she was rude. We arrived at 9:53 and were standing in front waiting for another person in our party. She said we dont open until 10, my daughter said, we have an appointment at 10 and we are just waiting for another person. The lady at the front said, appointments dont start until 10:15 and not in a very nice tone. I said to my daughter dont let one person ruin your experience. The day at this shop did not get any better. Nobody was very helpful at all. I was going down stairs to just look to see what styles they had and another lady stopped me and said that was not open and I would have to wait until the bride was done looking at dresses upstairs to go downstairs and these dresses were under 1,000 dollars. It was very rude I thought. But, we ended up at another store YDBN and they made the experience for my daughter a wonderful experience. Not the one from Allen Evans, that made my daughter have tears over that experience. I hope other people do not have to experience that with their daughter. It is suppose to be a good day and a happy day!!!!

I was blessed to be able to have Amanda as my bridal consultant and I cant express how amazing she was. From the time I walked in to my second time trying on the dress she treated me like I was the only bride. It was first class service and the rest of my appointments that day could not live up to it. Their dresses are gorgeous but their customer service is seriously lacking. The owner who wears the glasses is the only consistently professional, friendly person there. Multiple times the employees I have dealt with have been very rude and dismissive, almost like you are bothering them by asking them to do their job.

I have purchased 2 bridesmaid dresses from Alan Evans, and I had nothing but good experiences. I was assisted with alterations (nothing major due to sizing errors, just fine tuning), selecting the appropriate size, and everything came in as promised & timely. When it came time for my own wedding shopping, I REALLY appreciated that the salesperson who helped me had a knack for style. Instead of just saying they all look nice, she added her own insight, grabbed different belts to accent, jewelry, and would say honestly, Its gorgeous, but I dont think its the ONE. (I was getting super annoyed by salespeople that kept telling me they all looked nice, great, etc). Preferences/feedback were given in an extremely helpful way rather than critical, and I appreciated the HONEST feedback.

WHAT AN AMAING EXPERIENCE!!!! Mandy and Rand were phenomenal to work with they went above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for! They worked together as a team to come up with THE perfect dress for me! Not only did they help me find the perfect dress but helped find the perfect accessories to complete my bridal look! I cannot give them enough praise as they helped me pick/try on several dresses and truly learned what I was looking for in a dress! Just when I thought I had found the one, Rand found a show stopper that just blew the other dresses away! I am head over heals in love with my dress and can’t wait to go back and visit Mandy, Rand, and Mark again during my fitting and bridesmaids fittings! Oh and I forgot to mention that they also helped me find the perfect bridesmaids dresses! I highly recommend shopping at Alan Evans Bridal! :)

After stopping at a small store a few blocks away and got the pretty women treatment, I was ready to cry. My team of friends and family tried to make me feel better and moved on to our next appointment at Alan Evans in Moorhead. We had the best time. I found my dress! I would have never picked that one, but I looked amazing once I put it on. My mother cried (we had our moment). For the best place to shop for wedding dresses this is the place to go.

Bought my wedding dress here and it was beautiful, had great service from Rand. Got my bridesmaid dresses here with no issues. Alterations was always quick and on time. Then got my bridesmaid dress from my sisters wedding here too, again great service and timely alterations.

This review is originally for the Sioux Falls location but since they closed and we picked up the dresses from this location, Im going to leave a review here.When I called to select my bridesmaids dress size I was an half inch too big in the waist but had perfect measurements everywhere else for a size 12. The customer service lady I talked to argued that I should get a 14 because of this half inch measurement but I told her I wanted a 12 because I can lose a half inch in the waist in 8 month. Came to pick up the dress and here she STILL ordered a 14 when I told her a 12. Needless to say since the Sioux Falls location is now closed and its too close to order the correct size, I now have to take in 2 inches on the entire sides, shorten the straps 1.25 inches and reconstruct the bodice to fix correctly in the busy, when if I would have gotten the correct size I would have had to do none of this. I am NOT happy and do NOT recommend Alan Evans.

When I walked into Alan Evans for my wedding dress it started out as a good experience. Unfortunately that good experience ended as soon as they had my money. I’m 5’1” so instead of alterations, I paid extra to order my dress to height. When my dress came in they helped lace it up and it was too short for the shoes that I had planned to wear and was wearing when they measured. Due to this I had a hard time finding shoes and was way shorter than I wanted to be. No effort was made to correct this and the lady was actually bragging about how she measured perfectly. Then there was bridesmaid dress shopping. We were looking for a specific color and found a dress that was offered in that color. When they came in they were the wrong color. I live 2.5 hours from Alan Evans and had to drive down to get this fixed. When we got there they acknowledged that it was a different color, but then told me it was my fault and we order that color. Luckily the lady that helped me was there and remembered the color we wanted. Turns out that dress didn’t even come in the correct color. So with only one bridesmaid I had to find new and completely different dressed. The initial dress was more expensive and only after being asked for the third time did they agree to refund us for the difference. Again, no additional effort was made to correct these issues. In the end 7 dressed were ordered and none came in correct the first time. The only effort made was they ordered new bridesmaid dresses that were the correct color.I am unable to respond to the owner so Ill respond here. The reason I purchased other shoes is because my dress was over 2 inches off the ground in the shoes that I tried on in your store. Yes, you did end up ordering new dresses, but the refund was only after my mom asked several times, not your idea. If it was $20 too much that was a bad calculation on your employees part. We had a couple of tux issues and Tip Top Tux was great about making that right, on the other hand you just seem to blame the customer. From what Ive hear Im not alone in this experience.

We had a great experience at Alan Evans! The girl who helped my daughter was engaging and knowledgeable. She helped my daughter select a few dresses and then asked me to select 2. The dresses I picked were not necessarily dresses my daughter would have chosen, but after she tried on all of the dresses she chose, she decided to give mine a chance. As soon as she put it on, she knew it was the one! Had our sales person not asked me to chose some, we would’ve not ever seen this dress. The store owner also came over and spoke to us before we purchased. From the dress, to the veil, to the jewelry, Alan Evans guided us through what could have been a miserable experience! Thanks to all that helped us that day!!

I had the BEST experience at Alan Evans Bridal. They were able to fit me in last minute and I was lucky enough to work with Ryan. Ryan was so kind and he knew all there was to know about the dresses. He made sure I had the correct sizes and informed me of some details that no one else mentioned, when I went wedding dress shopping previously. I am so thankful for Ryan and the team at Alan Evans. Everyone was great, I would highly recommend them! I walked out with a wedding dress and a huge smile on my face. Plus- no sales tax!

Very rude staff! Absolute horrible customer service from multiple staff members. Left feeling very discouraged and on the urge of tears. Went to another bridal place afterwards expecting the same experience, thinking maybe wedding dress shopping wasnt supposed to be fun, but had an amazing experience at the other place. Would not recommend Alan Evans to any of my friends or family.

So rude! I stopped by the store myself just to browse bridesmaid dresses. I had an idea in mind, but didnt need to try anything on. I didnt need any help. They girl was appalled I didnt have an appointment and told me to come back in 15 min. I told her Id just forget it then and go somewhere else. Then she asked me when my wedding was and I said in August. She said to me, oh are you kidding?! I guess you can go downstairs and look then. I asked where to go and she goes, um those big stairs over there.... Go down those. Talking to me like I was stupid. Then I start browsing, another lady comes downstairs and I show her my ideas.. Her response, um, yeah those are all over Pinterest. We dont have anything like that and you wont find that anywhere. I was on the verge of tears at this point and I thanked her for her help and left. Im just looking for a dress with a little beading on top and that flows on the bottom. I just couldnt believe how rude they were there. I will never go there again and wouldnt send anyone there either.

I found my dress with Alan Evans Bridal! The dress wasnt what I was originally looking for, but it was better than I could have ever imagined!

Alan Evans had terrible service from the start. I made an appointment and arrived on time. A woman very rudely walked me back to a dressing room and made it seem like we were bothering her. She did not help us pick dresses. She did not help me get into the dresses. When I asked for her help zipping up a dress, she opened the curtain completely exposing me to my group as well as the group of strangers next to us. They messed up my order. I tried to remedy it. They treated me poorly after messing up as well. They messed up again then lied and tried to blame me. I ended up in tears with a full refund. Thankfully, a different store was able to salvage my experience and provide fantastic service and a better dress for less money. To the manager commenting on all bad reviews to blame the reviewer--that is the bad service I am talking about. Own up to your mistakes and apologize.

Got my own bridal gown their and didn’t have issues however since it seems like the staff has went down hill.1. Was in end of March to order a bridesmaid dress I mine was a different designers so it came in months prior to anyone else’s. Mine came in June others October. The wedding was middle off October. Their dresses were the wrong sizes same with tuxedos. It was a horrible. THE wedding was over a 100 miles from the shop and we needed items overnighted. THEy still sent the wrong sizes. When the bride went to return stuff the staff wouldn’t give her time of day. The customer service has went down tremendously.2. I was just in the shop Thursday to be fitted for another’s bridesmaids dress. This experienced undortunately was worse than the one before. Walking into the shop the manager of men’s was yelling out the door to a coworkers “I thought you were sick and not coming in!” And the associate approached and entered the store the manager asked if she drank to much the night before. The associate stated they were fine but had threw up all day. But was hot tubing the night before. They associate was swearing to describe her experience and mind you looked like she could vomit again. The other lady wanted to measure me in the middle of the store at the check in. I asked if we could step in a side room to be measured. She was mad I even mad earlier such a request and measured me so tight. When she told me what size I would FITB I said that after not close to my prior sizing and that i rather go big then small. She wasn’t happy with this and I lyer called in ordered a size larger. ANd am being remeasure tomorrow to ensure I have the right size ordered as the experience was BEYOND HORRIBLE.

Knowledge staff, made great suggestions for my vow renewal dress. Was told 12 weeks to arrive but arrived in 6.

We showed up on a whim close to close. My best friend and her fiancé are active duty, one stationed in Korea and And my friend just returned from Afghanistan, and it was last minute it worked out with them being able to stop home quick. We had last minute chance to attempt dress shopping. They were booked and had no staff but they found out our situation and the owner Rand (owner) decided to help us anyway!!! He was so kind and patient. Randi (bride) is a Tom boy and not who you’d expect looking for a beautiful wedding dress, but no judgement was passed. He really made her th center of attention. They were also able to fit us in the next day for bridesmaids dresses. It was the best experience we have had shopping BY FAR. Thank you again for going above and beyond and helping us when you certainly didn’t need too. We are so thankful and blessed and the dress is one in a billion. ❤️

I went into Alan Evans with my fiancé to discuss her damaged and significantly late wedding dress with the owners. When we walked in, one owner, Rand, acted as if he had no idea of what we were there for, and then said that he had her dress downstairs on the end of the rack. We asked how he knew which dress since he had just acted like he didn’t know who we were or why we were there. Rand told us countless lies while we were in the store, and when he was caught in them, he blamed the manager, the sales associates, my fiancé, and the manufacturer. He never once apologized or offered to make it right. Him and the other owner, Mark, who was also in, yelled at my fiancé together, saying things like “you just don’t want this dress”, “she doesn’t like the dress”, and “you’re trying to get out of taking this dress”, at which point she started crying. The dress was obviously the wrong color and the detail work on the dress was of poor quality, especially for the price of the gown. My fiancé has raved about this dress for months and has shown pictures of her in it to everyone, and how the owners treated us demolished this experience for her. Toward the end of our conversation, Rand lost his temper and ran into a different room and shouted “we have attorneys too, let’s just do it the ‘bride’s way’”. All we were seeking was to make the situation right, and the two owners refused to give a refund of the deposit. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and now my fiancé and I both feel patently uncomfortable in this horrible establishment.

Im from Hawaii and when I was visiting family in ND I wanted to bring my stepmom and best friend dress shopping with me. Alan Evans was the perfect place for me! After being disappointed in many dress shops this was my last stop. I told them what kind of dress I was looking for and they brought me great dresses to try on. I was about to leave with still no dress that I was absolutely in love with when Rand came in and showed me one last dress which was MY DRESS!!!! They were soo nice and friendly and stayed after the store had closed to let me try it on one last time before I left. They shipped the dress to me in Hawaii. About a month before the wedding, I had lost a ton of weight and couldnt find anyone in Hawaii who would alter the dress because of all the fancy beadwork. When I called Rand, he said they could absolutely alter the dress for me! He even went so far as to personally pin it for me when he was on vacation in Hawaii!!!! Talk about great customer service!!!!!!! I shipped them back the pinned dress and had it back very quickly! I had my perfect dress that fit me absolutely perfect!!!!!! I would highly recommend Alan Evans Bridal to anyone!!!!!!!! By far the best dress place i visited (and I visited many in ND and Hawaii!)

No photos eben with gma in hospital. Wont order bridesmaid dress untill all girls have dresses. So that would put a late fee on all girls if you are around 6-8 months. Found a discounted wedding dress. Older staff very rude on calls.

Staff was rude and unprofessional. I understand that appointments are store policy, but there are ways of politely educating customers regarding this policy. This is customer service 101.

Wished it was more exciting!My first visit I had ( i believe her name was Chelsea) she was great! when i came back she was unable to be there that day so I got random people helping me which was not of the greatest experience when you are by yourself with no friends or family there to get you in an exciting mood. it was less than acceptable since other places ive been to went above and beyond as if you were their only focus. But I did find what i wanted here so I gave them my support. Rand was helpful but there was one gal that basically went out of her way to come over to me and tell me to delete a snap chat i took, all while she was suppose to be helping a bride. not impressed. a snapchat will not kill your business! I actually dredded coming back to this place for alterations and fittings . They need a more uplifting environment.

I will never shop at Alan Evans Bridal again in Moorhead, MN. When went for measurements and to look at what was available we decided on different style then what bride picked but bride was with us. The girl helping us didnt pay much attention and we did have an appointment not like the other stores that all about that appt at that time. We found a dress but difficult finding styles to try on that were plus size we found a style of dress tried it on and when I asked what size it was many times the girl said 24...she asked how it fit and I told her it was really big in chest area but just a a bit snug in the rib area...I could sit down but a bit uncomfortable she said she would measure me...with my measurements she said size 28 would be perfect for me...concerned I said um thats 2 sizes larger and what am I going to do about the bust...she said dont worry it would be fine...they have a seamstress there...still concerned I left...yes I did sign the contract but being not a professional in the field I figured the girl knew what she was taking about. I picked my dress up and another bridesmaids on Aug. 4...the girl said try it on whenever you can at home and let us know dresses came out in bags all tied up...never once did she say please go try it on here...I LIVE IN SOUTH DAKOTA...and wouldnt be returning home because I was leaving on businesss for a few days she said as soon as you do call us. So august 11 I tried it on when I got back from business trip and the straps sat on my shoulders and the bust fell down between under my bust and belly button...I took it over to a lady that does alterations and she laughed and said they didnt know what they were doing or screwed up...she took 2 inches out of both sides and fixed where the cups came down on the side of the dress but when I tried on 8-13 she needed to take almost 2 more inches off each side and nothing more that she could do with bust without really tearing apart dress (2weeks out from wedding now...the bust was so big I could almost put two basket balls in the cups I wear a size 42c bra so I am little compared to those...I know have enough room that I can put my hand in the top of my bust still she is going to try and mess with it a bit but no promises...I called Alan Evans and explained situation and they were rude and said you signed a contract and bring the dress in (original) state and I need to come in and get measured because I could have lost that much weight...I said no weight loss all my clothes still fit in fact I probably gained a pound or two...also she said the dress you tried on was a 26 well that girl was telling me it was a 24....they dont know there product they are selling...The lady told me if I wanted to order a size 2 they would let me even if I was a size 22-24...and then she tried to blame the designers that dresses arent perfectly sized to the size you order...are you kidding me this is what I paid you guys for a dress which I told the gal at the time my concerns but she didnt document any of that....So now its 2 weeks away and the bridal shop down here and a local seamstresss is scrambling to come up with a solution for the bust area...we have had a few issues with the girl the day of ordering dresses told us wrong info about not having to rush dresses and then all of sudden saying a balance of $30 was due on two of the dresses cause they had to be rushed...we ordered in may...On a side note when we came in to get my husband measured the lady that came to help us was in such a hurry to go eat lunch she was rude and I dont know if she even got my husband measurements right....I asked a couple questions and she acted put out and annoyed...yep I will be going else where in the future!
