Do not do business with this company, unless you want to overpay thousands of dollars. I needed roof estimates, and they quoted me at $10,000 more than 3 other companies that gave me estimates. And no, its not because their quality of work is better. And no, its not because they use better materials. Its simply because they are way overpriced. Shop around and dont waste thousands of dollars when you dont have to. First red flag, thats when they come into your home and give you their PowerPoint presentation trying to convince you how how great their company is. If the company was that amazing, it would speak for itself. I wouldnt need a pep talk slide show...read this while you can, Im sure it will be taken down soon, because after all the word of mouth negatives Ive heard about this company, there is no way they have such a high rating. Im so very, very glad I didnt do business with them!

We had scheduled an estimate for replacement of one shower unit in our house through a Home Depot advertisement. I came home from work on the day the sales guy came to do that and found out that they conned my spouse into signing up for a 20k loan (after interest) to replace a single basic shower. Our regular plumber quoted us 3k for everything. This company is part of some kind of predatory lending scheme and its probably illegal, and if not, its borderline and they know it. Their estimates werent just high, they were absolutely outrageous and they provided absolutely no cost breakdown in the entire finance agreement they conned my spouse into. Luckily we were able to cancel the work with this ripoff company and their co-conspirators. Theyll be lucky if I dont file suit for predatory lending practices.

I used this company to remove a tub and install a shower pan for me. Austin did a great job designing the bathroom and also explaining the process for installation. The installer that came in was very professional and worked around my schedule the day and a half he was here. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to replace their bathroom!

Had put in a new patio door and a window 3 years ago and they have been fantastic ever since. Mike stopped out yesterday to check up and make sure everything was still in tremendous working condition. We weren’t entirely sure if we wanted to move along with the project, however, the reps that came out were extremely thorough and informational. If you do see these, contact your sales person directly.Heres our story:July 2020, we had a consultation with a sales rep who gave us the best possible deal and even contacted his boss to get us a better deal if we signed that day... We were told it was a 6-8 week window for window build, 1-2 weeks for them to be shipped from St. Cloud (3 hours away) to Fargo, then a possible 1-2 week window for install (depending on schedule)...I emailed their customer service department on week 8 and was told my windows would be on next week’s truck (week 9). [I have been advised that this isn’t something they should advise and is on the specific rep I spoke with]. Week 10 rolled around without a response, so I emailed again. I called twice, stated my concerns and was basically told theyd be here by 10/23/2020.. [I have been advised that this company’s customer service department cannot and should not make promises like this].November rolls around and I get an email stating due to COVID, my windows would be delayed until future notice.So I call and email again, no response.Thanksgiving rolls around and I call the salesman (Johnny, wonderful to work with), he states theres nothing they can do as far as a discount, cancellation/delay of install or refund but he apologized profusely on the behalf of his company. He also advised the actual reason they were originally delayed is because they were broken on transport and had to be remade at the manufacturer. [again customer service has been told it’s unacceptable to not advise of these situations and updates are being made in reference to this situation.]I was then assured I would be notified by 11/30/2020 on a date when my windows would be installed (not shipped) because they were complete and at the St Cloud facility. I received an email stating 1-2 weeks and theyd be in Fargo and that theyd call to schedule.I was advised that after speaking my concerns, getting all of the evidence that I’d be provided with a small discount due to my inconvenience.After everything, all that I will advise is that you read your contract thoroughly, maybe don’t buy windows in the middle of a pandemic and stand up for yourself when you think you’re being treated unfairly.

When I moved into my home 2 years ago, I was in desperate need of window replacement. The windows that came with the house looked to be original, pre 1960. Living in the 21st century, this just would not do. Wife and I went perusing at the local mall to get out of the god forsaken heat because our windows were single pane and did not open enough to get a breeze. That when we saw it. There was a little sign up kiosk to win $20,000! After putting in for the drawing, it was only a couple days later when the phone rang. There was a very pleasant woman who asked a few questions and before I knew it, I had a gentleman at my door to look at these awful windows. He busted out a tape measure and went nuts. A couple weeks later, while I was at work, the team came out and had my windows replaced, one with a bay window, before I got home. Quick and efficient. Had I not known that they were scheduled to be there, I would have assumed someone broke into my house to do a good deed. In these trying times, who wouldnt want something like that? Anyway, the rest of the summer wasnt so warm inside and come the fall, it kept the place warm. The only issue I had was in the winter when it was unseasonably cold and one of the windows got a crack. It was still solid enough to not let the cold in, which was absolutely shocking all things considered. I called it in because of the amazing life time warranty (no questions asked) and someone was out within the week. Next thing ya know, I had a brand new window, at no cost, put in, at no cost and still kept the cold out. Its been a couple years and now Im considering more work. The team I have worked with are professional, knowledgeable and fun to work with. Its a coin toss on gutters or to finish the rest of the windows because I had the dumb when making the decision the first time cause they looked like they were just replaced and thought it was going to be fine but it wasnt and now I want to rectify that situation. So, thats my story and with any luck, we can get some more work down soon. Thank to the whole team who has stood by us the whole time! Mike stopped by to take a peak at all the windows and doors we have done over the years. Your Home Improvement Comapany did such a great job installing everything. They were efficient workers, cleaned up after themselves everyday, and their workmanship was out of this world. We use to see daylight coming in from below our old patio door, Your Home Improvement Comapany came and addressed all of the problems, redid the entire frame and threshold and we couldn’t believe how much of a difference it was when everything was completed. We are extremely happy and have had ZERO complaints of the past 9 years of doing business with them.

The salesman on the front end was courteous & followed through with everything he said on the back end with time frames etc. The install took place in the winter time & the crew did an excellent job replacing the windows. We loved that at the initial consultation the sales rep showed us the exact window they were offering. After getting 3 quotes prior to YHIC, we found this was the best value for our money! We have seen a huge difference as far as energy efficiency (only burned one fuel oil tank!!) and needed one adjustment on our casement windows, contacted their office, and they had someone out in 2-3 weeks to have it taken care of, and we haven’t had any issues since 2018. As long as you’re willing to pick up the phone, these guys will get you taken care of! Jonathan just came out today for a follow up, and operated all the windows to ensure they were working properly. Absolutely amazed by the installers. These guys a were 2nd to none, great working team, knew their stuff, and did a great job cleaning up. I got all of my windows done except 2 and can already see the energy savings (even in the summer!) and I’ve only had my windows 1.5 years. We had a great experience with getting out tub/shower installed. They came out and surveyed the bathroom had a computer program that let us pick how we wanted to design. Easy to see how final product would look and great to pick and match what we wanted. The installer was great as well very nice east to talk to explained things well. He kept the space clean and neat. Meticulous worker which was great as you could really tell in the final product and installation. Very happy with the end result.

We are very happy with our new Preservation windows. We really enjoy the triple pane, overall appearance and the energy efficiency. We were able to maintain our woodgrain look inside and upgrade the hardware to antique brass like we’ve always wanted. We had a minor issue with the patio door about 6 months after installation, in which we contacted the representative Jonathan, and they got it rectified immediately. This company is phenomenal from the professional consultation to a manager following up on the work. We couldn’t be happier with our roof investment, and all we had to do was answer the phone. They even took care of the permits and all of the disposal.The roof system comes with a 20 year peace of mind warranty, it’s transferable to the next owner and can receive insurance discounts for the hail impact rating and the wind warranty! Although the installers accidentally tore off the gutters, once they realized it wasn’t in the paperwork they notified my husband & I and their production manager was here the next day, and ended up putting all new gutters on our house! They also got the entire project completed in 3/4 of a day. We highly recommend them!!

I am very happy with my updated bathroom. We removed a 52 year old cast iron tuband replaced it with a walk-in shower. It was done with acrylic and it matches my 50 year old bathroom tile beautifully. We covered the vanity with white and installed new drawers—-just like new! My only regret is that I didn’t get it done sooner. The installer was very attentive and patient with me when little decisions needed to be made. I have yet to find anything that needs tweaking! Great job!

We ordered windows from Your Home Improvement Company in August 2017. Tom Kramer was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. He was also very helpful with helping use get approved for financing to pay for the windows, making it an effortless process. Once the custom ordered windows were ready, Alex and his team had all the windows installed in less than a full day!!! They were amazing! This is including the custom bend and molded outside trim they did on site. Now that the weather is very cold out we are noticing a significant improvement in our homes efficiency. I would highly recommend this company!

Johnny and Austin did a awesome job to get someone out it fix my siding and selling us roofing and Explaining what is to be done with the roof and explains whats wrong with it and they did not push us to buy anything.

Sales rep Brady sold us on the windows and storm door because of the warranty and that it transfers to the next home owner when we go to sell. Installation went smoothly and was kept informed about the process. The demonstration with the heat lamp on the difference in windows was amazing. Also the screens in the windows are hard to destroy and are also under warranty. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Follow up was excellent and look forward to having a better quality home.

My experience with Your Home Improvement Company, LLC was in my opinion a horror story. The sales representative Blake missed two scheduled appointments and was 40-minutes late for the third. Once the sales representative completed his estimate and sales pitch, I was not left with a written estimate for the work to be performed. Instead I was left with a postcard with a telephone number on it. Based on my experience with this company, I cannot recommend them for any work. If a company wont even show up for the estimate or show up on time, why would I expect them to be trustworthy to show of for the work they are hired for or even trustworthy to complete the work.

Highly trained work crew, and very efficient. Noticed a big difference in the heating bill already. No more condensation on my windows.

The installers were friendly. They cleaned up after themselves very well. Our rep Brady did a great job explaining the process & all the warranty information. Great overall experience.

Installation was fast but yet was very quality work, Jeff came out and did a follow up inspection and was very thorough! The warranty on my roof is second to none, it gives me great peace of mind knowing that I won’t have to do my roof again!!!
