I remember buying a new chain for a Stihl 041 Farm Boss at the Hardwood General Store years ago in the early 80s, its taken a long time to wear the chain out! I returned to the same Hardwood General Store in 2011 to order some parts for another Stihl saw Id purchased from afar. This time my visit to the Hardwood General Store I gained more than just parts, I gained friendship from the owner David Kral. David has helped me out many numerous times each time I return to the Hardwood General Store. It may be a chain that needs to be sharpened (he is very good at sharpening chains, believe me!) or a purchase of bar oil or air filter. I now own 4 Stihl chain saws and its always fun to stop and visit with David and Max the dog, the Hardwood General Store atmosphere is not your typical hardware store, you go back in time when you walk into the door and you are surrounded by old antique pot belly stoves, clocks, chainsaws, equipment and more.
