I am so thankful we chose JWS for our windows replacement project. Our 1950 brick colonial had its original wood windows and not only were they drafty, but the wood frames were beginning to show water damage from the years of assault of the rain and snow. Although we received presentations and quotes from several local and national companies, we selected JWS for the quality of the product, the reputation of the company and mostly because of the professionalism of the people. John Zook was extremely personable and knowledgeable, giving us all the information we needed to make an informed decision.The results are undeniable: The Vanguard windows are an incredible product and craftsmanship of the install is second to none, including completely replacing and sealing the window frames. I will continue to recommend JWS to anyone wanting to replace their windows!

I am very pleased we chose JWS Windows. We replaced all the windows in our home. They block out the noise and the extreme sunlight along with looking beautiful inside and outside our home. The staff is very informative on their products.

We had settled on getting Vanguard replacement windows for our three bedrooms and bath. I went to other suppliers of replacement windows to see their Vanguard windows and they either had none or just one to see! At JWSs showroom, we were able to see and feel the windows, the colors, and discuss all the options. Then John Zook came out and measured, and we finalized the deal. He appeared to really know the product and made the ordering of options easy.Our windows came in a week or two later than expected, but that was with the Sunshine Window factory, not JWS. They scheduled the install when the windows arrived and did a professional installation. A year later, we have had no issues whatsoever with the windows.

Bad customer service! The Sunrise brand of windows are great but the service at JWS is terrible. The installer was not professional and complained about how little he was paid. We had some issues with a few of the windows after installation and some replacement parts had to be ordered. It has been 4 months now and after numerous phone calls to JWS they still have not sent anyone out to fix our broken windows. They have had the replacement parts for 2 months now and still we have not had anyone contact us to schedule a date when they are going to be replaced! I dont know how they stay in business. Check out Homezone in Grand Blanc if you are interested in Sunrise windows. They are an authorized dealer as well and will service the Detroit area. Stay away from JWS!!

We bought windows from JWS in 2007 and again in 2015. They are very professional and the product (Vanguard/Sunrise) have worked very well for us. We also bought a sliding glass door from them and the installation and functionality is great.
