The staff is courteous and very helpful. They truly take seriously their mission to help families restore their homes. Their prices are reasonable. When my new home was stripped of everything, they helped me and continue to help me put it back together again. This place is amazing!! I was able to find a closet door for $10!! Cant beat that. Wish they would of had my size for the bedroom doors because I would of bought those as well.

Huge store with warehouses beyond main store. Super deals on any type furniture. Always seem to have huge supply. We scored a huge 7 piece Mahogany bedroom set $300. Also a huge Broyhill China Hutch $50. Both in used but excellent condition!!

Great place to find quality items for your home, rental property, or business. If you are remodeling, rebuilding, or looking for unique items for your build, you can find it here. The inventory is constantly changing and refreshing, is high quality, and often has new items available. You have to visit often and hunt, but they have a lot to look through. There is a main building with supplies like paint, lights, fixtures, hardware, appliances and furniture. There is a secondary huge enclosed building with wood furniture, cabinets, and tools, and there is external storage for wood, wi does, doors, patio furniture, marble, granite, tile, and landscape stone. Highly recommend. The staff here is also very friendly and helpful!

The store was organized and customer service was helpful and friendly. They have good quality and modern inventory and clean. I found everything I was seeking I couldnt find at other retail stores.

We were able to get a normally priced $400 door for only $80 here. You cant beat the selection or the prices.

This place is worth visiting. The prices on many of the things in doors was a little higher than other HHRs, but the prices outside...like on cabinets and windows...was great. We saved so much money.

Excellent place for some home improvement items! my only thing is I feel the furniture is overpriced. You can tell theyre trying to make money off you with those 200$ price tags on old used couches. I would recommend going to this location if youve got a little extra to spend on home improvement projects, there are other locations that offer cheaper prices on used furniture but not all locations have the stock this one does!

There needs to be a sign identifying what donations arent taken. I waited my turn to donate(15+ mins), then got out of my vehicle to ask about donating and only then found out that they dont take clothing. SIGNAGE WOULD HELP people who want to donate, not waste their time.

Cashier was very rude and unpleasant. I was very disappointed because Ive been there several times but the little young cashier THIS time made me very upset

When I decide to diy, this is the first place I go to.I saved a lot of money when I redid my kitchen, bathroom, and enclosed back porch.Today I purchased carpet squares.Their staff is so friendly and helpful. Check them out sometime.

Their paint is absolutely phenomenal, I know its recycled but they must recycle the best paint possible. Limited choice and colors, but if you can use one of them, I would suggest you do it its totally worth it.

Only giving one star because I have to, a half hour ride to get there and find the stoves so dirty and nasty it looked like they came from abandoned houses or the garbage, not understanding why the store in Ann Arbor has items that have been cleaned and look as if they are actually wanting to sell the stuff. I only made the drive because they had several gas stoves (now I know why) and I assumed they would be just as good as the Ann Arbor store.

Since Habitat ReStore Detroit closed this has become the go-to ReStore in the metro area.The central building is very well stocked with used furniture, appliances, lighting, paint, and consumable supplies, all at great prices (no surprise there). The stock changes constantly so frequent visits will yield top quality gems.Im very impressed by the scale of available materials in the warehouse and outdoor areas. HUGE numbers of doors, windows, cabinetry, bathroom fixtures, trim, flooring, etc.Staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a really great place to go if you dont need something right now but can wait for it to come to you, or if you can design your project around second hand materials.Only downside is its not all inside. Gets pretty uncomfortable during the depths of winter and the hot humid days in summer.

Great place if your looking for budget friendly, DIY items. Paint, tile, lamps, furniture, kitchen cabinets, windows, doors. Nothing really matches, occasionally you find matching items. Heck, its donated items. Whole house items. At a great discount. Beautiful live edge wood for sale. Just waiting to become furniture, lol.

I was left very disappointed with the customer service by the manager. I found a item that was going to be discard it by the dumpster so I asked the warehouse staff about, if I could have it for a cheap price since it was being discard. I was told to ask the manager about pricing. The item went from garbage to $25. Really!!! The price of items are over priced!

Hit or miss here..I have found a few things..I wish they had more modern things but Its never the same store twice.So I always stop there when Im around!

Very large selection of tiles at a fair price. They did have a few items that were over priced that looked like it should just be recycled or just given away. But...overall a good place to find things to help remodel.

This is a great store to buy kitchen cabinates and bath, doors, windows, flooring, lighting materials and more.The staff and volunteers are all friendly although sometimes the price they give you can be more than your expectations, you can negotiate. For instance, the trimming material shown on the picture are all purchased from here and you wont find them in home Depot or Lowes. I am satisfied, I suggest you give it a try .I also thank people and companies who donated rather than simply throwing away.

This place has gotten ridiculous with their furniture pricing! $300 - $400 for a used sofa table is highway robbery!! You can get a brand new one. Used outdated dressers for double the retail price and not to mention the wall frames and pictures!

This is a place open to the public for drop off our if you want a item cheap.. Good for project findings.. They have all kinds of household items for in door and out!

Im only giving this place one Star. The prices are extremely high for a place thats getting everything donated. You might as well just go to Home Depot, at least the stuff there is brand new. They need to stop over charging for used items. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Fabulous finds, well organized and wonderful HELPFUL friendly staff! If you need assistance in the warehouse ask for Que! If you are looking to make a project with windows and doors there is a huge selection to choose from. I found a wonderful iron headboard to make a garden trellis, and quality matching paint and supplies to paint my friends whole house. Worth the drive for me! Love this location!!

I have not been here lately but I make sure I go to the buildings outside side I would spend at the least $500.00 A year at these Restorers I should have A Gold Card!😃

Habitat ReStore Farmington is fabulous! Q was incredibly helpful and kind in answering questions about our needs for some of the at home projects we have in the works. We found everything we needed for our kitchen remodel as well as a few vintage pieces to complete our cozy home. Expect great finds at an unbeatable price and friendly staff.

Visited today and bought a cabinet. Jay gave me a great deal and helped me by wheeling the cabinet to my car and loaded it for me. Very happy with the service. The place is very organized, considering how much stuff they have. I loved snooping around and was surprised at how LARGE the restore is, compared to other locations. Will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place and feel very fortunate to have a habitat restore so close to my home. I would highly recommend stopping by to see what they have. Jay and all of the employees has always been extremely helpful with all of my home improvement/repair needs.

Its huge and offers alot of possibilities! Bring a measuring tape. They have 100s of interior doors, and fewer exterior doors.. But definitely worth the trip. In additional they carry new items door locks, paint, rollers and gently used furniture, cabinets, sinks, wall art, paint, etc.. Reasonable and fair prices.

The customer service was excellent. We will be returning soon.

ALL the employees at this location are amazing! They go above and beyond to help customers. Everyone always has a smile on their face! Q does a great job making sure customers are safe during loading and unloading, Frank can be seen helping multiple customers at a time (always smiling), last but not least JAY! JAY is a very nice and helpful guy, he is my to-go guy when Im there. I ask a lot from him and he helps me find products and load them in my car. GREAT MAN! Great loctaion as well.

My daughter and I just visited the Farmington Hills location, and we were promptly helped out with purchasing a dresser for my daughters room. Q was the gentlemans name and he was so friendly, and wanted to help us. We appreciate his help and sense of humor, greatly! Thanks to Q, we were in and out in 15 mins. An incredible place to find home goods. We found a tall cabinet and weedwhacker, and paid less than half what either one would cost new. Excellent, helpful service (Q in the warehouse and our cashier stood out particularly).

Called 14 times to ask a question between 3-4:30pm today. Why 14 . times? Because each call resulted inno answer and being sent to voicemail each time. Couldnt leave vm because your mailbox is full. You call this good service? Think again.

Lots to look at, tons of furniture, friendly guys in the warehouse. Having been to the Waterford location several times, I have to say the downfall of this location is their prices are at least double. It would be nice to have somebody look into this, as I would love to come back.
