The Farmington Hills Metro team was outstanding! Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in my many renovation projects. Our floors were on back order for 6 months and Ali and his team kept us up to date every week. Not only that, when my husband and I were contemplating whether or not to wait for the floors we chose, they kept their doors open late and brought samples to our home to help our decision making process. When the floors did arrive, slightly ahead of the initial delay, the communication, professionalism and timeliness of the project was seamless. The job was 3500 sq feet which included demo, self leveling, cleaning etc etc, and was done impeccably and AHEAD of schedule. Our floors are outstanding in both quality and install and we are so grateful to have chosen Metro to do the job!

This is my first online review ever. We purchased carpet for our whole house from Metro Carpet and it was an awesome experience. Sam was very helpful and got us exactly what we were looking for. We had shopped around and the price we got was far less than Lowe’s, Home Depot, and other carpet stores for the same carpet so we did our whole house versus the 3 rooms we were originally going to carpet.The installation was perfect. Ali, the installer, was very accommodating and easy to work with, and unlike all the other stores we shopped at, installation was only 2 weeks after purchase versus 4-8 weeks with everyone else.

Poorest customer service. We went to Metro Carpet and Floors on 7/17/21 to buy carpet. Picked out some samples and Ali was so friendly and told us he would come measure our new house anytime the week of 7/19. Called on Monday 7/19 and Ali said Wednesday 7/21 @ 3:30. So my wife planned to leave work to meet Ali. On 7/21 my wife called Ali @ 2:00 to confirm Ali would be at house. Yes I will be there Ali said. So at 3:10 my wife is on her way to let Ali in the house and Ali calls her. No no no I scheduled someone else at 3:30 you have to be 4-5. My wife says how about 5 after work? Ali replies nope I have other appointments then. We fired Ali and will be buying from someone who wants our business. Must be Ali got some bigger and more important sales.

My new house was completely transformed by this company! They did such a great job that I can’t even remember what it looked like before. Definitely recommend for any floor or carpet service. Best prices around!

Very happy with my new carpet from metro floors! We had a very small window of time to get fresh paint and carpeting done before moving into our new home and experienced a number of setbacks that caused us to have to reschedule contractors. Metro carpet was flexible and made sure they got our carpet installed on time before move-in day, which was huge for us since the previous owner had 2 cats and a dog— the old carpet was gross.We did our homework and shopped carpet with different companies, Metro offered the best balance of service, quality and value. Not to mention, it was also a more comfortable experience with their sales and measuring process compared to sales approach from other companies. Again, highly recommend hiring Metro Carpets.

Metro Carpet and Floors is the best! Definitely ask for Ali he knows his product and is great at what he does. The overall process was extremely easy even with COVID I don’t was able to get everything done very quickly. From the sales to the installation very professional!!

Do not buy from METRO CARPET. Very cheap padding and carpet. Was installed with stains from the installers dirty shoes and Ali the owner refused to replace the carpet. Stair case seams are coming apart after 5 months. We were told to have the carpets cleaned and They would reimburse us. It has been 3 months and I am still waiting for the check from Ali. Do not trust this company, they sell cheap material, DO NOT BUY FEOM METEO CARPET.

So happy with my new carpet and vinyl floors. Prior to getting in touch with Ali I was nervous and overwhelmed. I had very little knowledge about carpets and floors considering I am a first time homeowner. Ali is very knowledgeable and good at what he does which made the decision process very simple and easy. We hired this company to install wood and tile flooring in our house. The wood flooring team was excellent but the tile flooring team did one of the poorest jobs I’ve seen. The installed tile is not level and is of extremely poor quality. Very unprofessional, rude, and amateur behavior. They sent another tile team to fix their mistakes but they made the situation worse than it was before. I have before and after pictures to prove it. Poor management. It’s a shame that the wood flooring team are associated with such a terrible company. This is for a house in Michigan.

I had Metro Carpet & Floors install a sheet vinyl floor that mimics the look of slate tile. I had it installed in January, and there is always a risk of sheet flooring bubbling up. This happened around my kitchen peninsula (which was a tricky area to install around). The installation guys came back out to remedy and unfortunately the bubble persisted. I called again and spoke directly with Ali and he came out himself to inspect. He spoke to multiple different installers how to remedy the problem all while keeping me in the loop. He sent out a different set of guys within a few days and the floor looks perfect! All the installers were so nice and Ali was so nice to work with as well. The issue we ran into is very common in this application, but I was so thankful for how helpful the Metro Floors team was!

I can Guarantee every single one of these reviews is fake. This is the worst carpet place in the world, they put the lines in the middle of the carpet. Two year later getting the carpets cleaned it all lifters they ripped my mom off who is a elder lady! I can’t even get a call back!

These guys are amazing. They installed carpet for a commercial store we own in Berkley. They did a terrific job and were cost-effective. Highly recommended!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Horrible service. I guess my business wasnt wanted. When I used their contact us form online I never received a response. So I called and set up a time to get an estimate in home, and I ended up wasting my entire morning because they never showed up. I didnt get a call until literally the end of my time slot asking if they could come later. I just wasted my entire morning, why should I be forced to waste my afternoon too? I have no idea how a flooring company can stay in business with service like that. I can only imagine what would have happened had I gone in store and given them my money!

Dont go to Home Depot for carpet, go here. If you pick from the in stock selection, which is huge and modern, it is half the price and installed within days. Ali was great to work with. He came out the next day to measure for free. I saved a ton of money and hassle and got great carpet and pad. Thanks!

We were very pleased with our experience. We re-carpeted over 1,400 sq feet in our house. The salesman listened to what we wanted and then showed us two carpets right away that we loved. He also helped us think about a few things we would have never considered with the design/patterns. The installers were on time and finished the whole job in one day. We had a small issue because of a miscommunication on our part with the installation on the stairs and the owner had the installers come out to fix it at no cost to us. It was really a great experience from start to finish!
