We have used this business for car care for the past 10 years and have always been very well taken care of. Repairs were done in a timely manner, they were happy to do servicing with short notice if it was needed, and they were even generous enough to do a 200 mile tow for us when we were broken down on the reservation and had no access to roadside assistance. We will continue to use them for all our vehicle needs because we know it will be done properly and with care. We love the family who runs it, too.

Called them on Monday, scheduled a time to bring it in on Friday. Told them i needed it done by 1030am as we were going out of town. I explicitly told the gentleman in the phone of this and when i dropped it off at 8am it should only take an hour and a half. They called me a little after 10 letting me know they havent got to it yet and i had to tell them not to do it. They get two stars for at least not starting it that late and keeping me from leaving and not trying to charge me. If there was a problem they should immediately let you know not just before its supposed to be completed. Courteous, and straight forward otherwise. Hopefully they do a better job next time.

So grateful for American Car and Truck Care in Farmington! They have always gone above and beyond to make sure my cars are taken care of. From routine servicing, oil changes, to making sure I have the best tires for my needs and making sure my car is running not just the way it should, but better. Communication is KEY! And they do just that.

I had my car running great brought it in for them to recharge the AC but they only talked to my mom and told all of my after market parts that were upgraded to work better and longer were all broken, then they broke 3 vacuum lines unknowing gave it back to us not hardly running so we brought it back so they could fix the vacuum lines and they did a test on my fuel pump which we had put in 2 weeks before we sent it to the shop and they told my mom it was bad and told her it would 600 to replace and we had put a big Ole pump in there from summit for $135, they replaced my big bad parts with cheap O relies parts, stock mind you. We brought the car in again for an ac charge and left with a 1600 dollar ticket with a non running car oh but I have ac now. Bunch of clowns over here. DONT BRING YOUR CARS HERE!!!!

Paul and Jared were huge help. Had an issue with shaking and couldnt find a mechanic for two years to take care of the issue. These guys figured it out. I definitely trust these guys

Brought my Ram 1500 in because just sometimes it wasnt starting first try.naturally they claimed right away the fuelpump was the problem and needed to be replaced. Suddenly a bunch of other things were needing to be repaired as well. I declined some of the additional repairs so they went to work. 2 weeks later the truck was supposedly fixed and when I wanted to pick it up it still was not starting any better then before the fuel pump change.Now it was electrical, what they couldnt find. Then they after killing my battery with trying to start the truck all morning they said it was the batteries fault and they slapped a 300 dollar battery in I did not agree to. So all in all 2500 dollars later and complete denial about their mistakes it still wont run any different. NEVER AGAIN

They do a fantastic job at taking care of their customers, and for that reason I will continue taking my car here for all my service needs. I think its important to have a shop that is trustworthy and these guys go above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction.

Went in there SOLEY for the check engine light, was instructed that it was the mass air flow sensor . Told them to fix it amongst other little things .Fast forward $334 plus $100 tip paid and a few hours now I’m stuck in the middle of the desert 60 miles from anything with the same mass air flow sensor fault .I would of paid anything to get the proper service needed to prevent potential accidents and time loss . I was not able to pick up my load today as planned directly due to the break down of such a minor part . I will never trust my commercial fleet or time with this company EVER again .Shout out to T-Mobile for having service in literally middle of no where Utah for me able to call the real professionals to replace the sensor .

Went in to get an oil change and check my traction light, couldnt get barely 5 words out of my mouth before the young man at the desk rudely cut me off, didnt even respond to what I was asking, and gave me an outrageous price. All while harassing an elder lady because she didnt have the diagnostic fee they failed to tell her about. Shady business! Much better business at grease monkey next door. Maybe learn some manners. Goes a long way!

My sister has been looking for a car and we wentvto American Car & Truck Care, to assess 2 different vehicles for us. It was only $49.99 for a mechanic to look under the vehicles and check for any kinds of leaks, damage or unusual sounds or smells. They gave us a report of what needed to be fixed along with an estimate of repairs. They were very thorough and gave their honest opinion on the value of both vehicles. We will definitely use them again.

Their mechanic Jared check the car not every well told me I needed stuff my car didnt need coast me alot of money for something that should have been very cheap never recommend this place to anyone take your money to people that know what they are doing.

They are fair and honest with general repair work. The owner Wes actually gave me a ride home the first time I went in. They seem to have trouble keeping consistent help in the front, but Ive used them for 6 years and have been pleased. Much better than going to any dealership for any kind of repair.

Take very good care of my vehicle, make sure im safe on the road. Staff all very friendly n knowledgable. I know i can depend on them.

Never taking another vehicle here again. Shoddy work and overpriced cheap parts. Definitely scammer. Before we got our minivan serviced here the AC didnt work, but the blower didnt make any noises for just circulating air. Price quote, 1200 parts and labor. Out the door 2500. Diagnostic charged Everytime. The blower made a rumbling noise after turning it on. Took it back and they said there was some leaves in the air filter, and that the blower motor is supposed to make that sound. Never again. Looked up the part on the quote and they were way cheaper than what they supposedly installed. Ripoff joint.

I came in from out of town looking to buy a certain used car in Farmington, which i took to their shop for inspection. At their shop, they quoted me a higher price for a compression check than what they had quoted me on the phone, but when I brought this up, they stuck to their phone quote. They also took a lot of time in answering my questions, giving me info and advice on the used car, and gave me an objective computer printout of the cars alignment. This info was very helpful in making a decision on buying the used car. In the end, I was VERY glad I took that car to them, and thought that they treated me well and even generously. I would recommend them.

Went to get my tires rotated, Wes said they do an inspection on every vehicle. What he neglected to mention was that it was going to be an additional $30 charge. I left my car at the shop for them to do their thing, they call me to let me know its ready. The guy tells me they were unable to rotate the tires because all 4 are worn down. OK, cool, whatever. I get to the shop and am told that I need to wait for Wes so he can tell me what all is going on. My thought was, There shouldnt be any more information, it should have all been said over the phone call. I wait for about 20 minutes until Wes comes out to talk to me. Now tells me that the shocks are out. He quotes me to replace those and the tires. You can find tires at a better price pretty much everywhere else. As Im at the register to pay another customer that he knows comes in. So now Im sitting there trying to get my car he goes into a full on conversation with this other customer. Dont charge people to wait around on you so you can chat

I will recommend these guys 10 times of 10, i wrecked my car, they fixed it fast and right. Not a single problem with the repairs and they helped me out with tires for very cheap! Thanks guys,-Malachi

Never will I recommend this place. Im on tight budget yet for them to charge me $70 just to move a tire when I went in for alignment and was given you need new parts. Was not informed they would charge me. Costing over 1000 so I left. I get parts replaced on my own and go ask for alignment but told the $30 credit was for you to bring parts in we fix. Sorry but cant afford It. Young man was rude. Never again...over charged place

Though Jared did eventually did make situation right, it took three tries to get new tires to replace the (correct) old ones.I needed new tires and told the employees up front that I planned to get two now and two later. Specifically I needed my rear tires changed because I had recently had a flat and the spare that was on the car and was now being driven on, didnt match the size of the other three tires. The invoice said that I paid (in full, in advance) to have my two rear tires changed). While I was there, I was informed that they had charged me the wrong price originally and I owed an additional $17. Not the worst, but annoying. I paid.After leaving the facility, I noticed that the spare tire that I had mentioned more than once that I wanted replaced was still on the vehicle, still being driven on. I called and was told it was a mistake on the work order, but if I brought it in they would correct it. I took my car in and again told them I wanted the spare tire that I was driving on, replaced (they had mounted one of my other tires to be the new spare, as I had requested). They fixed it very quickly and I was about to leave impressed until I checked just to be sure and discovered that they still hadnt replaced the old spare tire, but instead had moved it to a different location and had I not checked, I would have again been driving on it. After a third time in the shop, they finally had all five tires (4 to drive on and one for a spare) in the correct location.I was impressed that Jared came out and took the time to make the situation right, but not impressed by how much miscommunication I went through in order to get the service that I paid for. On top of this, when I went to get the soda that I am 100% positive I put in my car to have at lunch, it was no where to be found. Hopefully its an oversight on my part and it got moved elsewhere in my vehicle, but seems unlikely (and yes, I acknowledge that a drink I paid less than one dollar for isnt that big of a deal, but on top of everything else, my lack of trust in the company has grown).Needless to day, when I am ready to buy my next two tires, I will be going elsewhere. As for future customers, pay attention. Know what you are getting and make sure the work is done before leaving the facility.

I have been a customer of ACTC for 9 years and I have always been taken care of. They stand behind there work, they may not be the cheapest in town but the work and customer service is well worth the price. They make sure I am EDUCATED on the work that needs to be done and if there is ever an issue I can take my vehicle back and they make it right! LOVE THEM

The worst service ever!!!! Over charged and my sisters verhicle is in worse shape than when she took it there....3000$ later and she had to go to a real shop to get it fixed right... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY... Very dishonest!!!!!!!
