I went to that store is to buy an item Ive been going there for over 3 years Ive recommended them to my familys and friends but yesterday as soon as I bought my item and I was about to walk out they whisper and burst out laughing didnt understand why they were laughing because I look better than both of them for sure. My niece told me that they were rude to her aswell (they treat you different if are not white) very unprofessional ....
These types of pants are great, theres no doubt about that. But they are extremely over priced. And theres never any specials or coupons. My most recent trip there was only one girl over the other four who were hovering around the counter to see if we needed help finding anything. They were all on their phones and taking pictures. That is a major pet peeve of mine. Retail you need to be friendly, welcoming, and outgoing. I wont be back for a while, if ever again.
I went here for my first time and the lady was nice she helped me find something to the best of her ability and she told me if it didnt work out to come back. I had to come back the next day because what I bought was a mistake it didnt work with my dress I needed it for. So I never even worn in for more than 5 mins tags and receipt were still with the item. I went back and some other lady who helped me was just really rude I explained what happened and she basically said oh well. $70 gone.
I bought a shaper to go under my wedding dress. I was told I could bring it back if it didn’t work out. I had my first fitting appointment last weekend and with alterations I won’t need a shaper. Came to bring it back and was told they couldn’t take it because the tags weren’t attached. The tag fell off during my fitting appointment. So basically they take shapers off the rack, let you try them on, then steam and rehang them if you choose not to purchase it. BUT if the tag comes off it’s yours now. How? I bought something countless other people have put on their butts however without a tag it’s useless to them. I was told they’d “have to damage it because it’s underwear.” So that’s $80 gone for me. I guess I’m better suited to take an $80 loss than Spanx is (go figure, corporate greed at its finest). They did offer me an exchange though. So is there really an issue with them not being able to sell it if they’re willing to give me something else? Never buying Spanx again. Not worth the hype if their customer service doesn’t match the exorbitant prices.
