Ive used the storage place for at least 3 years now really nice people the facilitys pretty well set-up its clean every time I go there but with everything nowadays theyre expensive the people here very nice more than willing to help you out was any questions that you may have so if you need something stored big or small they do it all

As I prepare to take my RV out of winter storage from A Place to Store (Farmington Location), I am compelled to write a review of my experience with this facility, and in particular, with Kevin, whom I believe is the owner or manager of this location. Having just moved to the northern climate, I was eager to locate covered, secure, heated storage for my 40 Class A RV last Fall. There arent many options around that can accommodate a rig this large inside, so I was thrilled to find A Place to Store. They have two gigantic warehouses where they store cars and RVs over the winter, but my experience is with the RV-only warehouse. When you see it, youll be amazed. It is so clean that you could practically eat off the floor, and there are multiple huge doors that allow Kevin to get the RVs in and out. Kevin personally oversees every aspect of putting your RV in and taking it out. He is meticulous. He coordinates the order in which RVs go into the warehouse according to when you plan to remove it in the spring. I needed to keep my RV in storage a couple of weeks into April, and Kevin was perfectly able to accommodate. In fact, it turns out that Ill be wanting to get my RV home and ready for Spring use at a time when he will be out of town, but much to my delight, he will move the RV for me into a position where I can easily drive it right out of the warehouse. Kevin also went out of his way this past winter for me, and started up my RV a couple of times just to make sure the batteries were still strong. Wow. I couldnt be happier with this place for heated storage of a big-rig. I highly recommend this place for indoor winter storage for RVs. They will take good care of you, and your baby in the warehouse!

I drove up from Ohio to store my Roadtrek at their indoor Farmington location. When I picked it up, it was as clean as the day I left it. Not even a speck of dust! ZERO damage from critters or otherwise. I have stored my Roadtrek in other states and this facility is #1. I highly recommend Kevin and his crew. No drama and no stress. :-)

I got to the facility a little late on a saturday but Kevin was very understanding and was happy to get my bike into the heated storage facility. I mentioned to Kevin that I was heading to Madison Heights to pick my vehicle up once we were done. Him and his wife offered to give me a ride back to my car! It was really nice of them to offer seeing as how they had just met me. I got my bike stored for a great price and they saved me a $30 Lyft! Great service.

Kevin and the crew at A Place to Store on 9 Mile are great. I store my classic car with them and have for 5 years now. Always courteous, timely and reasonably priced and recently upgraded their storage racks to state of the art hoists. Great Place. 5 stars. Gil

Very clean storage center. I have an indoor and an outdoor unit. I am pleased with both. I feel my belongings are secure and bug and critter-free. Prices are competitive with other storage centers. Maybe even a bit better here. Hours are a little funky but August goes out of his way to accommodate.

This place is ran like every business should run. Great communication with Kevin throughout the entire process of scheduling my boat to bring in. Most businesses dont utilize the text message as a way to stay in contact with customers. This one does and is prompt at responding. Every where i turned the staff was helpful and professional. What a clean facility too!These guys get it done.Recommended 100%

I have stored my belongings at this self-storage for 6 (six!) years, while I worked in South Korea. When I returned back to the USA, I was afraid that all my things are in so poor shape that I just discard them to the garbage. However, to my big surprise, everything was still in the perfect shape!Actually, during this 6-year period the company changed ownership (due to death of Mr. Wallace, its original owner). Usually, such event creates a lot of trouble to customers, especially ones who are far away. Not in this case! This shift was easy to me, I just got a letter that business changes the name, but way to pay (and price) did not change at all!People at A Place To Store are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I enjoyed dealing with them!It means, in my opinion, that every penny spent with A Place To Store was worth it!I highly recommend this business as the most reliable storage service!Thank you, guys! I am a car collector. This is by far the best place to store classic cars. The owner and staff and very knowledgable and professional. The facility is clean and secure. The rates are fair. Good spot without question.
