This Asian market is pretty small but has a variety of items to fresh and frozen items. The people that work there are very helpful in explaining items if you are unsure. The ladies at the register are very nice and helpful. The only thing that I didnt like, is I could not find the place because it sits in a small tiny plaza behind other businesses and there are no signs. However, I would recommend because there is a mixture of Japanese and Korean items.

Love love this place. It was our first time visiting this. If it werent for the pictures, wed skip this. But what a treasure trove of Japanese and Korean goodies and baked and savory items. Definitely coming back for more when we visit Fayetteville again. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite places to shop. I love the large variety of asian foods and I love trying new things. Victor is the owner. We have spoken to him a few times and hes so very kind and informative. All of the employees that we have spoken to have been nothing but, kind and helpful.Here are some pictures of some of the wonderful things that we love to buy from them.I would highly recommend shopping here.We come about a week and will continue to shop here. 🙂

This is where I usually go to get my Asian food needs. It’s the best one in the area and a lot to choose from. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and the owner does help get items that their customers are looking for. I do like the variety of items offered and do have items I’ve never tried before.

Great little place to pick up those Korean / Japanese / Thai extras your main Supermarket doesn’t carry (Whole Foods excepted). Picked up freshly made kimchi pancakes and hot Japanese curry. Looks locally owned and operated, shop local!

This place is legit. It has almost everything Asian grocery related. You will be amazed by how much inventory they have in stock. Went in for shaoxing wine and couldnt find it! Oh but Suns does have it! Great inventory and good service. Ill be cooking more Asian dishes with the help of this store.

I love this hidden gem. It is jam packed full of all kinds of food items and other products. It is the only place I will buy kimcheePrices are reasonable. The staff is always helpful and friendly in finding items. I like trying new things when i go and purchase things i normally buy. When i ask questions, they are very informative. The store is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside.

This market offers a great selection of products of which I have seldom seen. To the point where it is joyful to walk around and pick out some new snack or food that you’ve never seen and try it out.

In the Fayetteville area, this is pretty much the go-to Asian market in the area. For COVID-19 store hours, it is pretty much opened from 9 am to 7 pm except Sundays (opens at 10 am). Their fish market is opened until 5 pm if you need to pick up some seafood. They limit the occupancy inside so you may have to wait for a bit in line before being able to go in.Anyways, it is well stocked and has many essentials that you would need for Asian cooking. It has a good variety and is pretty comprehensive spanning all across the Asian food spectrum. They have a frozen and refrigerated section as well for some perishable items that you may need and a decent seafood market. Up front near the cash registers they also have some store-made snacks ready for eating. My favorite so far is the Mochi Rice Cakes filled with Red Bean paste.Its also next door to a Korean restaurant (Shila) which is pretty decent. Ill review on that next!

Always friendly, isle can seem cramped but they are packed with merchandise. Took one star for two reasons. One is because if you get addicted to an item they could and do stop carrying it sometimes.The second, they are a bit overpriced on there non-food items and rarely do sales.

Ive been shopping here for over a decade. We live out in the countryside so its a 45 minute drive. As such, we usually stock up. Our family has lived in Japan, parts of Europe and all over the world and were usually able to find some of the favorite food-related items from our travels. Highly recommended!

First visit, and I couldnt have been more delighted. Huge amount of stock for a variety of ethnic appetites. For folks like me who only read English, it might be helpfu, but not necessary, to bring photographs of products you want to purchase. I picked up everything on my own list including fresh and frozen products as well as pantry items. It is cramped--as many cubic inches as possible are used for shelves and they are packed. Signage is limited, but staff is incredible--friendly, knowledgeable and VERY helpful. This will be a regular place for me to shop.

I LOVE this market, I take my friends here all the time so we can try new things. My mom grew up in indonesia so we find all of the ingredients for her recipes here that we cant get in other stores. Its a kind of small building and can be hard to get through when there are lots of people, but the food they have is amazing so it was entirely worth it. They even have some european treats like some of the chocolates (milka and kinder).

Nice place to shop, bringing asian food a little bit closer to us. People are polite and will great you with a smile. Only nit pick would be the small size of the place, but they do encourage social distancing and have hand sanitizer around.

I love this place. Being Filipino and looking for ingredients I need for my little pop-up kitchen this little Oriental store makes me happy. Ive been coming here with my parents since the first day they opened here. The staff are the most cheerful, helpful and kindest in all places. I especially love it that from the moment I would walk in the store and even though they dont know me by name they will remember something I was looking for before that they didnt have in stock or something new Ive requested...and they will inform me..with a smile. Ive been to the other Oriental markets here in town and they have nothing compared to this awesome place. Their prices are reasonable, vegetables are fresh, the entire place is super clean and there is no fowl lingering odor like most Oriental stores have. Theyve even carry all the Filipino stuff I need and the ones I remember growing up with. Awesome place...awesome people.

I really like this place. They have everything and anything you could be looking for, from different regions of Asia, fruit included. I like using their ingredients to cook my favorite dishes, and I always buy samanco whenever I go there, as it’s the only place I know that sells this fish shaped ice cream.

Sun Asian Supermarket is a great place to go and find grocery items that you cannot find in other supermarkets in Fayetteville, NC.The employees there are very friendly and helpful to their customers. They will help you find items that you are not able to find in the supermarket.The building itself is very organized and clean. They also require that individuals wear a mask when they enter the store, which is the North Carolina law here in Fayetteville,NC.As you approach the supermarket you will see that there are parking spaces for individuals who are handicapped.

Ive been looking for a place somewhat near me that offers things like frozen squid and octopus. This place was such a joy to find.

Discovered this store a couple of years back when I was looking for Korean chili flakes. Their selection is vast, reasonably priced, and if you cant find something the staff is extremely helpful. If you have a question, dont be afraid to ask! The staff there are always helping customers and answering questions. Personally, I just like going through all the aisles to see whats there and see if I want to try something outside of what Im there for, but I have yet to visit and not find an ingredient, sauce, noodle, etc that I need. Overall a tidy store with a vast selection of ingredients for whatever needs you have.

Got what I needed but the isles are very narrow.

A little pricey (but understandable) but it had everything I was looking for to make a traditional Fiipino dish. Its hard to navigate if you dont know the aisles but amazing customer service (even on a busy new years eve) that will help you!

The employees are all very helpful and help me find anything I need. They even sometimes give me ideas in which brand to buy. The pricing is what youd expect, but they carry a variety of very cool things. I found a huge tea kettle that could easily fit my head in it for 30 dollars which is a huge steal!! Head on down there if you like fresh seafood as well as the gentlemen behind the counter is very trustworthy to help you get the best deal and is very funny conversationally. I highly recommend stopping by.

Fantastic way to find any niche Asian foods one may be at a loss for at your usual market. Also delicious fresh seafood served in season at the back of the shop. Tasteful music being played and friendly staff throughout the store. Only wish it werent so cramped, but I suppose thats a price to be paid for such an astounding inventory.
