I had considered upgrading my early 80’s Specialized Sequoia for years. I guess I was just waiting for the right opportunity and that was Richard. He appreciated my bike and wanted to help it run smoother with some adjustments and the minimum of expenses. It rides better than ever now. Smooth shifting, a lower gear ration for better loaded climbing, and the price could have only been better if I did it myself. But I don’t have the knowledge he does. I brought my vintage Diamondback mountain bike to the shop for a tune-up and to have new gear shifters installed. After I got it back, it reminded me of how it must’ve ridden when it was new. The shop owner explained everything he did and why he did it. The pricing was fair for the work performed.
