I had a great time in the bookstore. Hailey was very helpful. I needed a shirt for my grad pictures and she knew exactly where the style and fit I wanted was. Thanks a lot!!✨✨
I have gone here for several semesters and haven’t had any problems since I switched to this store instead of the one “on campus”. They have a lot cheaper prices and staff who actually knows what they are working with and they seemed to really want to make me a good deal. Plus, they had so many cute game day shirts. I won’t shop anywhere else.
Really cute place! I enjoy the laminated quick study guide available
I have rented my textbooks from them all of college! Ive found that their prices are the best in Fayetteville (way cheaper than the on campus store). The staff is also very friendly and helpful! Definitely check out their Razorback gear as well -- lots of great stuff.
Wonderful service and great olace!
Phenomenal selection of course books and supplemental materials at uncontested prices- I found everything I needed online. Placing a web order was effortless and I was able to pick up my books and lab equipment at the door.Staff is attentive to customers and conscientious about social distancing and heath measures. I’ll definitely be renting/buying my books from here for the next three years.
Great selection and great service!!
It was very easy to sell my books back! Customer service was super friendly!
This place has everything you want for Razorback gear. Great prices. Go see Stephanie, Alan, or Ethan. Great people.
Changing Hands Bookstore is a book store that sells surgical manuals on hand transplant techniques. If you or somebody you care about is looking to remove and swap out their hands and is confident with a scalpel then you may find some interesting reads. I know I sure did. I haven’t started on my left hand but my right hand is almost completely off. Five stars for a catering to DIY medical procedures.
We parked for 5 minutes MAX on a Saturday night when they were closed, just to pick up food. We walked back to find a boot on the tire. Two other people came back to their cars at the same time and found the same thing. They charged each of us $40. One poor guy was a delivery driver just trying to make a delivery. They have one tiny sign on the front door that you dont notice because youre not going to the front door of a closed store. Ridiculous. 😡
Great selection of Arkansas clothing and merchandise! Convenient location on Dickson to grab lunch after shopping.
I love getting all of my books here. I wont buy anywhere else. I love the customer service and the quiet environment. The workers leave you to be on your own and when you ask for help, they help. Its great!
Beat selection in town.
Best place to find textbooks. Being going since freshman year and highly recommend it. The people there are always so nice and ready to help. They will price match any book for you regardless of if you find it online or at another store. They also buy books at the end of the semester. It can get a little hectic in the store at the beginning and end of the semester but I have never had to wait very long for help. Definitely check it out!
Such nice people and they have a large selection of Razorback merchandise!
Hog Stuff for sale
Nice variety of Razorback gear. Bought a couple of bags for my mom and some decor the crib
Great service from the employees. I walked in and someone was immediately there to help me. They asked to see my classes and went back to find the books I needed while I shopped. The process was very easy and this location is cheaper than most others. The staff were knowledgeable and polite. Must visit if youre at UARK.
I usually really enjoy getting my textbooks here. However, this year I rented one of my books and found out I didnt need it. I tried to return it 2 days after I paid for it and they only gave me 70% back of what I payed. It wasnt a cheap book. I felt ripped off. Wont be using them anymore.
Good prices, sometimes slow service
Sure cheap compared to garland. Gets crowded but its definitely worth it. I save an average of $200 a semester on books here which means more Dixon street money
I was very impressed with this store and the way that they handle the book purchasing for classes. My daughter had done her homework and had a list of all the books she needed. We were greeted at the door by a friendly staff who worked with her and reviewed her list of courses and books.Within about 10 minutes they had her books up at the front counter ready to check out. The cashier worked directly with my daughter, looking at her not us, and explained the rental versus purchase price for each book. He was very helpful and explained some tricks of the trade from his experience. It was an expensive trip, but the Campus Bookstore on Dickson makes it as painless and cost effective as possible.
Decent place to buy and resell books if you cant get/resell online. Would recommend doing it online instead though and wish someone had told me to do that when I was in college. The store is a little cramped and outdated.
Great service from the employees, cheap textbooks. And I love shopping local and supporting local businesses! Cant beat it!
Good selection of U of A gear, standard bookstore pricing aka overpriced. Friendly service. Grab a student discount book on your way in, theres a 25% off coupon for an apparel item, wish we knew that before shopping -- would have spent more money than we did.
Jimmy, Tyler, Sara and Cory all provided excellent customer service. Very pleasant and efficient team. Thanks again!
BOOKS are cheaper here. WAY better than the one on campus. Hog selection sucks, but I went there for BOOKS. Better than the ON CAMPUS STORE BY FAR!
Ive been to many bookstores over the years, first for my textbooks over 20 years ago and recently with my son as a new college student. I have to say that the concept of full service is nothing short of genius. I love that I can give my sons schedule to them and they bring the books needed for the class and nothing extra. I was told that I could even reserve his books for next semester, so that will be something we will try in Fall as it was super busy when we were there!
Always surprisingly fast and easy and Ive never had an associate that wasnt friendly ☺
Usually very fast and helpful. Prices are competitive.
They help their customers as much as possible and provide great freindly service, and they have reasonable prices and a variety of options. Great service!
If I was going to school here I would definitely check this place out.
Only bookstore I can find that allows you to get your books but defer payments until scholarship/financial aid funds arrive. Prices are at (or just below) other area bookstores as well. Couldnt be happier.
Lots of Razorback gear!
Good service but not worth the risks involved. One of my daughters teacher told this bookstore NOT to sell one of the books as used but they did anyways & guess what? Its missing the pages she needs to turn in with her assignments. I called to find out why this happened & a very friendly guy told me he was sorry - not sure how they screwed up because he sees the notes & tells me to send my daughter in to exchange the book for a new one & hell check with the manager & maybe they wont even charge her the $15 difference. SURPRISE - not only are they charging her the $15 difference (fine) but they made her pay the $60 for the new book UP FRONT to order it & when she comes back for it in a week and 1/2, theyll give her $45 back when she turns in the used one. Like I said - not worth the hassle for their mistake (& several other risks involved based on reviews). Great place for inexpensive t-shirts, and again, good service...but not worth it unless they can iron out some of these kinks.
The price is right, but the service leaves something to be desired. I sent an email a little more than two weeks before classes that went unanswered. Then I went to the store a little more than one week before classes started, but books still werent available so I filled out a reserve form. One week before classes started I called to see if my books were ready and they said no but they would get to it ASAP and call me. I never received a call, so two days later I went into the store and got my books. I was told I never received a response because they were just too busy, but there were 12 employees standing around and I was the only customer in the store at the time.I get that this is a busy time of year for them, but it sure seems like someone could have been answering emails and making phone calls.
Shady business practices. I went down there and asked if they could price match a book they (campus bookstore in Fayetteville, AR) was selling through Barnes & Noble, just to try and save on shipping. The guy went in the back for several minutes, then returned and asked if I had showed him a screenshot or a live site. I told him it was live and showed him the search I had done to find the site. When I clicked on the link again, the price had went up $11+, which they agreed to match. I asked if they had changed the price because it hadnt even had time to propagate with the Google crawlers (price still listed at original price) and they said no, they couldnt do that. Coincidence? You decide. I walked out to my car and purchased the price even cheaper from another site. Only downside is waiting for it to arrive. Luckily I took pictures of chapter 1, so Im good. I recommend shopping elsewhere. I even found a good deal on Craigslist.
Great. They take care of you fast, friendly, professionally and are competitive. I jave been going there the past four semesters.
Very helpful
Great and friendly staff. Would 100% choose over the university bookstore that charges way more for books.
Very friendly staff.
I ordered a clicker and a textbook on Monday night. I got an email on Tuesday saying that my order was ready to be picked up. I went in Tuesday and received the textbook, but was told that they were out of clickers and another shipment was coming the next day. Long story short, its Saturday and I still dont have a clicker. They said the shipment will be coming in Monday, but at least point, I might never be getting a clicker. Thanks campus bookstore for three 0s on clicker quiz grades!!!!
Got some great bargins on college wear!
I gave them my schedule, they came back and gave me the wrong textbook. I trusted that the guy had gotten the correct textbooks. After bringing it back to get a refund and the right textbook, they refused to give me a refund. I would go somewhere else if you can.
Friendly and helpful staff, textbooks are cheaper than the university bookstore on Garland.
Excellent customer service and book prices.
Save money. Best place to go for books at University of Arkansas.
A complete rip off. They sell book for almost double the price you could pay online..... buy online, people..... The only people who leave positive reviews are the ones who have no idea how to buy online.
You can buy and sell new or old books. Even you can find souvenirs
Better than the other bookstore.
Always friendly and fast service! I get my text books from here every semester...also the prices are fair.
They held the last textbook until I could get there. I save $62 on the rental price compared to the Barnes and Noble bookstore on campus!!
This place knows what theyre doing. They got it down. Walk in, and they help you out.
Dont bother with this place. Especially with selling back your books.
Clerks are absolutely helpful
They have a harrassing mass phone list and will not remove people despite many requests so do not give them your phone number unless you want on the list.
Love the stationery and hats
They are cheap and fast
After purchasing my books with my credit card the only thing I used the card for in days my card info was stolen and used to pull money from my account within four hours of purchasing books
Good buyback prices.
Nice staff
Good selection
Whatever its books
Everything a student needs.
Friendly staff
They have the basics.
Terrible service.
Friendly staff
This place is awesome!
