Visited Eye Medics for the first time this week and had an amazing experience! Scheduling the appointment and determining insurance coverage was easy and Rose at the front desk was so pleasant to work with. The appointments were on time and me and both my kids were seen promptly and efficiently. The doctor took plenty of time to explain everything and answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this office and their care.

Took my 2 year old daughter in for her first eye exam and the provider she seen was amazing! He kept her engaged through out the whole visit, not once did she even get overwhelmed or cry. Made for a great visit. Can not recommend him enough.I seen his wife for my exam and had an equally amazing visit!

Honestly one of the best experiences I have had at optometrist. Went for my son. Felt educated and made me understand the importance of routine. The interior of the clinic was warm. Probably the nicest I have seen. The receptionist was sweet. My only ding was the selection of glasses to choose from. I would return for the doc a service, but I would purchase my glasses elsewhere.

My encounter was nothing short of exceeding expectations. My 3yo was scared for days leading up to this but the dr and the staff were so accommodating. The exam is thorough and more so than that- the doc explains everything so in depth so you truly understand what all is going on or isn’t. I won’t hesitate to bring all of my family here from here on out. Care provided was leaps and bounds more than anything on post optometry has ever provided my children or myself.

This is my second visit to eye medics. It was the best eye examination I ever had. The doctor examine and gave me the results in detail, I was very pleased with my visit to eye medics the place was very clean and they had all the modern equipment to do an excellent job. Great experience today for my daughter’s first eye appointment. Optometrist was very patient and knowledgeable of pediatric concerns. Ms. Rose at the front desk is very sweet and professional. Thanks to their team, my daughter is finally on the right track to corrected vision. Today was the first day in a LONG TIME that she was able to see far away. I can’t thank them enough. I can not give enough stars for the amazing doctor and staff I saw today. I brought my 6 year old in for her first eye exam with an actual doctor (not the screening they do for school physicals but an actual thorough exam) The first person you meet is the amazing front desk employee named Rose, she was absolutely amazing, kind and genuinely a happy warm person! We then saw Dr. Singletary, he was extremely down to earth and passed on his array of knowledge step by step without every making me feel dumb or bad that I didn’t know children should get their first eye exam at 6 months. I learned so much at this appointment, the was extremely in-depth, helped my nervous child do a 180 and become confident in the exam. The office was very clean and well managed. I will absolutely be sending my family and friends to this establishment!

This was all around the most pleasant experience Ive ever had seeing any medical professional. They deserve more than a five star rating. Rose at the front desk is one of the most kind and friendly people I have ever met. She was an absolute joy to talk to. I saw Dr. Shiau for my exam and she was very kind and very knowledgeable. She asked me if I was pregnant or breastfeeding (which I am) because she didnt want to dilate my eyes if she didnt have to. No one has ever asked me this during an eye exam and I never thought about the fact that what they put in your eyes could pass to your baby. I really appreciated that because of course Id like to take all measures to protect my baby. She even took the time a few days later to answer my questions and look at the last photos of my retinas from a different doctor. Dr. Singletary saw all three of my kids and he was very patient and kind with them. He explained everything he was doing and asked me about my concerns and questions. He was also quick but thorough which I really appreciated. They all just made us feel at home and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations I had with each one. Ill be recommending them to everyone I know!!

Absolutely loved the whole staff! I took my 7 month old here and it was by the far the best experience I could ask for. Everyone was so nice and did a great job making us feel welcomed. The doctor also checked out everything for our little one making us feel that she got the best care possible.

I took my daughter to the Eye Medics and had no expectations but I need to say that Dr. Singletary was amazing! He made my daughter feel good, not scared, she was happy when we were leaving even she was prescribed glasses. He made the whole experience just excellent. I would highly recommend the doctor but the front desk lady is great too.All in all, I believe you wont regret taking your kid there, as a matter of fact, I made an appointment for myself. It had been awhile since I got an eye exam, but I found this place was highly reviewed, so I went here and I could see why.Rose at the front desk was super sweet and the doctor was great as well. He made sure I was comfortable and did a very thorough exam. He even took pictures of my eyes, showed them to me and explained everything to me very well.(I’m from Ohio and I never had pictures of my eyes taken before.) They made sure I was taken care of from start to finish. I’ll definitely go here from now on for the rest of our time in NC!

Dr. Shiau was amazing. Rose at the front desk was also just as amazing. By far the best optometrist visit I have ever had. I have been looking for a good optometrist as my prescriptions in the past always seem to not be the greatest and the exams were rushed. Dr. Shiau was very thorough and ensured I had the proper prescription. Which I am definitely seeing improvements with my new prescription & contacts. My vision with them is as sharp as ever. Best Doctor’s visit ever. At first I was blind and now I can see. Every one was so professional and polite. Before I left from my initial visit my eyes were checked, rechecked and rechecked again. This was my first time here. The receptionist at the front desk was the sweetest lady and helpful. I waited all of 2 minutes before I was welcomed to the back by Dr. Shiau, who was equally as nice. We discussed family and basic pleasantries, but it’s always nice for a doctor to take some time getting to know you. She also gave me a quick info session on my eye health and what things she was looking for to make sure things are okay.I was in and out of there in 30 minutes with my scripts which was AWESOME.This location is also a peds clinic and I look forward to bringing my girls in, so we can all be in the same location.

Probably the best experience Ive had in a vision center. I wish exams were a little more affordable because I dont have insurance, but I would definitely return. The lady at the front desk is very nice and friendly. The people in the office seem to be compassionate and caring. The optometrist does everything they can to figure out the culprit for any issues your eyes may be having.

Phenomenal experience! My daughter saw an ophthalmologist for her eyes regularly, but she was still having issues. In one visit Dr. Singletary identified the real reason she was having problems and created a plan to help her. I have been taking my kids to Eye Medics Optometry for several years now and I must say we always have a great experience. Very clean rooms, they wipe down every machine before using and the atmosphere is very peaceful and claming. They make sure you understand what is going on, show you pictures of your eyes and explain to you what they see. Very friendly and caring Doctors and receptionist. Love the relationship they build with there patients. EYE MEDICS Optometry is Amazing!!!!
