Tony and company did a fantastic job removing an old and installing a new pool liner. They were all very friendly and completely professional. Their work was top notch. Tony also have some great advise on to how keep my pool in top condition. I would highly recommend them and their work.

The lining in my mom’s pool was over 10 years old and desperately needed an upgrade. So early this year she had called a few pool companies to no avail. Those who actually called back were giving her availability dates out in January 2022. She accidentally came across Chapman-Wilson Pool Company and gave them a call. Not only did they call her back immediately but they were also able to come out to a survey the pool, order the liner (which other companies claimed they weren’t able to do because of the pandemic) and install the liner all within 6 weeks. Their pricing was reasonable and on par with the other companies, Tony and his crew were very professional and the actual liner was installed within a day. Will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who needs their service.

Buying a pool is a big deal and a significant investment so I am really glad I decided to go with Chapman-Wilson for this big decision. The prices were very reasonable, definitely the best out of any of the licensed/insured general contractors we received quotes from. Once this crew gets started they move fast, we could have easily had a pool in a little over two weeks if it were not for the rain. The crews were all professional and very responsive to what we ask for during the process. You will not a meet a nicer and more trustworthy man than Mr. Wilson. He personally sent me a letter while we were thinking about who to go with and we spoke on multiple occasions during the project. He lived up to his word and puts his name on every job, its nice to know that there are people out there who do what they say and who value the meaning of a hand shake. See the pics for yourself, the pool looks great and the kids love it! The pool has been done for over a month but we let the concrete cure before the crew came and put the pool decking down today. Chapman Wilson installed an in ground pool for us. During the pandemic, with crew shortages and supply shortages, they completed the job and got us in the pool as promised. The staff is professional, attentive, very helpful and highly responsive. Mr. Wilson personally spoke with me on several occasions. He is a very nice man and I was shocked, as you seldom get calls and attention from an owner of a company, especially this day in time when customer service is in short supply. He was attentive and truly cared about our project. They did an absolutely beautiful job and we could not be more pleased with the end result. Project was to remodel a bathroom, to remove tub and replace with tiled walk-in shower. Excellent work, however the job was estimated to take only two weeks (approximately) but it took almost 2 months. Other than the delay in getting materials (out of C-Ws control) i am perfectly satisfied with the job that was done. I’ll be asking them for an estimate on another project. I’ll give them an overall 4.5 stars!

Chapman-Wilson replaced our very old, terribly weathered, wooden dormers, with beautiful vinyl siding and new windows. They also replaced all the windows of our home with beautiful new, insulated, screened windows. The sales manager, Wayne, was professional and willing to work with our time line. He had some great ideas, and was prompt and courteous at every meeting. He never failed to return a call or answer a question. Our house is very old, and there were some unexpected issues, requiring analysis and logic to solve. All workers took this in stride and came up with excellent work-arounds, leaving us with a beautiful and professional installation. We also have a ton of trees, shrubs, bushes and flowers as well as three rescued dogs. All workers were very careful to protect plantings as best as they could, and made sure pet gates were secured. At the end of the job, everything was cleaned up. Youd never know there was construction going on. I cant say enough positive things about Tom, Jessie, and the entire crew - all just super, know their trades, courteous, honest and always wore a mask in my presence, knowing I was high risk! Because of Covid, and some unexpected weather, sometimes things were delayed. Whenever this happened, we were immediately informed and kept up to date on developments. By the way, they were the highest bidder on these projects...we worried some about choosing the highest bidder, but we are glad we did because we had zero problems and an outstanding result and excellent service from them. The owner even called us to make sure that everything was going well and that we were satisfied. I highly recommend this company.

I called this morning to get assistance with few backyard projects, and as soon as Alyssa picked up the phone I explained our situation, stating how my mother suffered a stroke a few years back and that I the daughter would be helping her express herself, Alyssa was immediately unprofessional she replied “ um … okayyyyyyy, what can we do for you ? I was thinking wow no empathy or concern, I continued to express my inquiry, but I wish I hung up the phone !!!! We needed a red brick paver patio fixed, and my ground leveled for a pool which neither project could be completed, she said they can’t fix other peoples work and they don’t do above ground pools, all that is fine but she was extremely rude in her response very condescending and made me feel as though I was wasting her and the companies time, and for the record we didn’t ask the company to do anything with the pool we just needed the ground prepared we were going to finish the rest, ( I looked at the Chapman Wilson website and the pictures and services listed and saw that this company is capable of preparing ground for pool. 🤷🏽‍♀️, and as far as previous patio inquiry, poor work happens all the time it doesn’t mean someone else can’t come out 🤷🏽‍♀️, several contractors can work a job at one time depending on customer agreement or needs plus … what do people do when they have to fire a contractor for whatever reason, they get someone new 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️, I don’t know, at the end of the day I mainly wanted to express the phone experience I had with this company, it was horrible and to have already been through a really challenging time with previous contractor it just made things worst, I will definitely not ever recommend this company to anyone not how I wanted to start my Monday . 😣😡

There was a misunderstanding of whether the job was finished. It wasnt and I jumped the gun with a negative review. We have spoken to Chapman and Wilson and they will be out to finish the job! They have been great and I appreciate it. I have used them in the past and was very satisfied with their work and professionalism.

Billy, the salesman, meet every demand we had on our pool build without hesitations. Steve did amazing job on excavation of our pool. Concrete guys did an outstanding job on the concrete. Received several compliments in their work. Baxter electric guys were top notch. Electrical work was very neat and they accommodated all our recommendations. The pool cleaning guys were absolutely outstanding. Any and every question we had was answered. The orientation went great. They were very patient as we took down notes. We appreciate the pamphlet we received. We loved the fact that we never received nothing but the best service. No one had a bad attitude. We will have many years of use and fun definitely. Went to buy and return a product. Would not take back .Still in package was only 3.00.Had a hateful attitude. They put my pool in and I bought a spa from them. I have done bussiness with them for 12 years. But will never return to place agai n. Will never refure again . Their lost.

Yesterday (5/26/2020) work was completed on my home by Chapman-Wilson. Install vinyl siding, wrap exposed wood and replace front porch. Many additional projects were also accomplished. Not only was the highest quality material used but the installation was accomplished by one of the finest crews in the business. This was a class A job from start to finish. Highly Recommend this company!

I called Chapman-Wilson late summer 2019 asking about an in-ground pools. They came to my house to discuss my options. They were not only very professional but also very nice and not pushy. I discussed with them my vision for my backyard in the future after the pool was built. They then told everyone they could make my vision come true all at once with a 90 day turn around. We agreed on a price and scheduled the project. I had very high expectations of how everything would turn out. This company knocked my expectations out of the park. Not only did they have everything done when the timeline they actually had it done sooner. Everyone of their contractors, on a scale of 1-10, were straight 10’s, right down to the ones picking up trash. Words can’t explain how pleased I am with Chapman-Wilson. I highly recommend this company for any of your home improvement needs.

Great place for pool supplies, nice employees too

I contacted this company to build a deck around my above ground pool. Because the contractor didn’t pull a permit they explained that they would not be able to build the deck. So I pulled the permit myself and everything was approved by the city. I contacted this company again to build the deck and was told that someone will contact me to come out and complete the estimate. Today I received a call and was told that they don’t do that type of work. I feel that I was lied to and think that this company acted in a very unprofessional manner. I do not recommend this company because of their poor customer service as well.

Rented and owned and ran into my own fair share of contracted mishaps. I really think this is the best business Ive ever worked with. They are about making things right. I think their owner is a true professional and extremely fair, and thats aside from great respect I have for his service in the Vietnam War. I DONT typically give positive reviews on here but this one was merited.

I had Chapman Wilson install new vinyl windows in my rental house. They were very professional and the crew made sure to keep my yard as clean as it was when they showed up. I never even got to see their work. I had them do a walk-through for a bathroom remodel, for which they were on time and very professional. After that I didnt receive the estimate promised, a phone call, email or anything. I called them a month and a half after the walk through to see if they were still working on the estimate, or just ignoring me. They not only were rude to me and acted like it was my fault, but they said they would call me back. Of course they never called. You dont treat potential customers this way. Not sure how theyre still in business like this

Cheers to Chapman-Wilson, Pools, Spas and Home Improvements. Two years ago Hurricane Matthew damaged my home, but it took Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael to substantially make things worse. Chapman-Wilson was able to come in and make all the repairs that my home needed and make it look brand new again. It is now more energy efficient as well! Wayne, Lucky, Tom, Richard and Tank were wonderful to work with and took great care to ensure that all of my needs were being met while also being very respectful of my home; inside and out. The crew at the office kept me informed of the progress of my order and made sure I was completely satisfied. If you need windows, siding, carpentry work, etc., Chapman-Wilson is the place to go!

I recently called to inquire about above ground pool installations. The website states they do these services but upon calling the lady RUDELY stated that I needed to call a local handyman and that do nothing with above ground pools. It was very disrespectful to respond in that manner when I would not call a establishment if I do not see a service listed on their website.

First off our pool liner installer (Tony) was great. He was friendly, extremely hard working, and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. I would hire Tony to do all my future pool work if I could we had issues with water and tony installed a well point. it took a lot longer than expected but I will say that tony and Mr.Wilson personally called and handled the issues. They stood behind their work. I paid in full and after several months came back and finished what I paid for. The months wait was our choice. Im an overall a satisfied customer and would recommend Chapman Wilson to anyone needing pool repairs, especially if you get Tony as your contractor. Being in business this is the job that nothing went well for them HOWEVER in spite of all that they probably lost money and still were there to finish the job!!!

2 attempts at services:1. Asked them to help us remodel our bathroom. We asked for some ideas along with what we wanted and we never got a call. When I called them, they said the guy didnt know what to do. I said, thats it? thats all Chapman has to offer? What do you guys do then? Seriously.2. A few years later (2 days ago) we tried them again for a stairs project. I bought my stair treads and stained them. Since the guy that was going to do it ducked out, I called them. Seems like an easy win for them, but they said they dont do turn key projects. They would have to do the project from start to finish. Even though I got stairs/treads from the exact same spot they would have, just to add to the cost for their profit? ..no thanks Garbage again!

Just recently had my bathroom remodeled and again, Chapman Wilson’s crew outperformed themselves and went beyond my expectation. After shopping around, Chapman Wilson offered the best price for my money and helped me keep within my budget. They completed the job right on time and the personnel were very professional. Project took about two weeks and their foreman kept me informed each day of the progress. This is not the first time I dealt with Chapman-Wilson. They worked on the siding on my house and when completed company representative came over and inspected the work. He found some discrepancies and had the workers return the next day to make those corrections. I was pleased with the work, I had them return to build a deck in the front of my house. I was ecstatic when they completed the work. Each time they completed work, Shaun would give me a small lesson in dos and donts in proper maintenance so my investments in improvements would last a long time. Each time the crew finished, they would clean up and had me inspect that day’s progress. I am totally satisfied with their work and wanted to pass on my experience to others.

Wanted to redo my front door and was told by the first guy that it wasn’t something he could do. Went back and asked if that was normal to turn away business and the owner sent out another guy who then high balled the quote i had found for a custom door online that he originally said he could do better than. Additionally after first approaching them it took weeks to get the second guy to call me back. When i called him he then sent me some blurry cell phone pics of doors clearly from a magazine alone with the highball quote. These guys are just like any other Fayetteville contractor don’t believe the commercials

First off our pool liner installer (Tony) was great. He was friendly, extremely hard working, and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. I would hire Tony to do all my future pool work if I could. I originally was unhappy with some of the scheduling mistakes during this process, but looking back I can see it was an honest mistake and a backlog of summer pool repairs that caused those issues. Mr Wilson personally called and sincerely apologized for those issues. Im an overall a satisfied customer and would recommend Chapman Wilson to anyone needing pool repairs, especially if you get Tony as your contractor.

Poor cant get anyone on the phone about my roof leaking that the put on. I leave messages but still no return calls seems like you pau them and thats the last you here from them. I would not recommend them to anyone ever again

We will never shop here again. Horrible customer service from the technician, the office manager, & the president of the company. So fixated on being right, they wouldn’t even listen to a paying customer. This also seemed to cloud their judgement to even service a new motor under warranty; which caused the homeowner to waste $400 on a pool motor. The utter unprofessionalism & unwillingness to cooperate with the customer & electrician, combined with causing delays & additional work at the owner’s expense, led to a simple pump motor change taking 4 months (yes, months) to get the pool serviceable. Save your money & shop elsewhere.

We floated out pool liner by draining the pool. Went to Chapman Wilson in the morning and by the afternoon thy had Tony out there to fix it and by 2 pm we were putting water back into the pool. They are now our go to pool people. They were outstanding!

We had our master bathroom redone in October and the plumber hired by Chapman-Wilson did a poor job connecting the shower drain. The pieced together pipe slipped off the drain, resulting in water pooling under our home (we have a vapor barrier installed in the crawl space) which means the water was just sitting on top of the plastic. I called Chapman Wilson on Friday after hours (when the water was discovered) and a gentleman called me back at 7:30 that night (I was VERY impressed!) I asked if we should remove the water, since we have another shower in the home to use, he replied, no his guys needed to see it and they would take care of it. They had a plumber out first thing Tuesday and repaired the pipe. I called several times to Chapman Wilson and the plumbing company to inquire about the removal of the water. Was told each time, Sean (the contractor) would be out to take care of it....its been a week...Im still waiting. I was THRILLED with our redone bathroom and the work done by Chapman Wilson, but this has certainly put a damper on my enthusiasm.

Excessive prices and terrible customer service. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. We had a timer go bad on the pool at our home we just bought (we didnt have the pool installed). I called and told them that the switch went bad expecting them to give me an estimate. They said we will send someone out. There was no mention of a fee for someone to come out. After a week (and a phone call) I was sent an estimate for $690 to replace the switch $350 of which was labor alone. I had already called and gotten estimates from electricians. The highest was $500! Also a bill for $101 for the service call. When I spoke with the company the lady was beyond rude and by the end of the conversation she informed me that my name would be put on the do not service list. I have to say this is absolutely the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. Had I known there would have been a charge I would have never agreed to them sending someone out.

Chapman Wilson has done all of my house repairs and they have added on a patio add a deck redid both of my bathroom to make it larger they have painted my house they are very qualified staff if you need anything to be done to your house your pool anyting please contact -chapman and Wilson

I have used Chapman Wilson many times over the years. They put in my pool and built me a pergola and installed a hot tub. Did new countertops and have serviced my pool many times. Did some vinyl work on my home and I had them do a sunvroom and fence on my mothers home. This company has always provided me top quality service and a fair price. If there is one thing I have learned it is you get what you pay for, and Chapman Wilson always delivers. Thanks to Chapman Wilson for a job well done.

In response to post by Karen on 07-20-2015 . We received a call from her asking our company to make an emergency visit to her house because her pool was not working properly. We made special arrangements to visit her property because she was out of town and very worried about her pool. This special trip was made per her request and we fit her in right away. It was evident when we arrived at her property that her pool was not as she said being properly maintained and treated with chemical because the water was dirty and green. This does not happen on a pool that is being properly maintained. Her house sitter told us that something was wrong with her system and she was having to backwash daily, which should not have to happen. We checked over the system and did not find any leaks at that time. Whatever she or her housesitter did to the pool after we left we have no way of knowing but a leak was not present at the time of our visit or the pool water would have been low and it is of no benefit to us to not fix a leak as we are paid more to do so. Karen was told at the time of the appointment what the charges would be and then afterwards decided she did not want to pay them. We did add some chemical to the pool but the pool was so green the chemicals were not as effective as they would have been in a properly maintained pool. It is our practice not to vacuum a dirty pool that we cannot see the bottom because anything could have been sucked up into the system causing the homeowner more expense. After Karen called our company and demanded money off of her bill and we stood behind our charges that she was informed of before we ever visited her home she decided to leave a nasty review. I am sure if we had bent to her demands she would have not left this but sometimes a company has to decide to not be bullied by people who were told in advance of their charges and decide afterward that they dont want to pay.
