I have been shopping at Lidls for some time now, so I decided to do a review. The key to shopping anywhere is knowing what to expect. Because of this, so far, Ive always had good shopping experiences.I appreciate the paper towels and sanitation supplies in the season of covid-19. On most of my visits they have been stocked. A few times the paper towel was out but that does not diminish my shopping experience.The store is organized and clean and things are easy to find. The staff has been courteous helpful and friendly and they are always busy.The key element is the low prices. I have adapted my taste buds to some of their brands, so depending on what it is the national brand is not that important to me, especially when comparing their price. If you see something you want you better grab it because its not guaranteed to be there the next time.Over the past few weeks I have noticed some of the prices have increased, I was somewhat disappointed but expected. Regardless of some price increases the bargains are out of this world.The products are numerous, they have gluten-free products, keto, paleo, vegan, plus more, theres something for all dietary needs.I utilize the Lidils app, which offers digital coupons and perks for spending x amount of dollars or making so many purchases to receive discounts or percentage off of products. It seems to be a trap for me because Im in the store multiple times a week. Everyone loves a deal!Dont forget to bring your reusable shopping bags, however if you dont have them, you can purchase some there for a reasonable price.They have some interesting finds. Ive had a chance to try new products or just experiment and expand my taste buds.I forgot to mention the bakery, oh my, as soon as you walk in the door, you are met with dinner delightful smells. The cookies are awesome and the croissants are delightful.I love the self-checkout, however, if theres something marked down and associate will have to assist you with the correct pricing. Normally the process is pretty quick, but be patient.If you have considered adding this chain to your shopping list but put it off, I recommend you give it a chance. Go on a day that you can explore each isle. You are likely to find a treat.

A piece of Europe with high quality products. The only thing I found a bit bothering is that its always just one cashier open. Of course, when the line gets to long theyll open another, however, this is perhaps the only thing they should work on.

This is a new grocery market located in front of the Market Fair Mall on Skibo Rd.The store is from Germany just like Aldis Markets. They stock their own brands and sell products and produce from the local area, which are stocked fresh daily. Also they have an in-store bakery that sells freshly made German breads and baked goods daily. Prices are less than Wal-Marts and some items where a little less than Aldis. They have temperature controlled bags and regular brown paper shopping bags that you can purchase or bring your own. Down the center of the store, there are several rows of General Purpose items for sale, like kitchen supplies, sewing items, a small collection of clothing,( Sweaters, Jackets, etc.), and other daily items all at reasonable prices.

Was disappointed.I just moved from Raleigh. The one in Raleigh is so neat and clean. The produce all in its righted place and bags closed.Every area in the store just right..neat and clean. No fear of the multiple hands touching you stuff.The produce in Raleigh always fresh.I miss Raleigh so much Lidl I can cry 😢.My first and last trip. I will wait a few months to see if there is a difference.

Lido is one of my 1st choices for food shopping; The food is fresh, a good assortment of fresh flower and seasonal brushes.Lastly, the vine selection is good quality for the price..Thank you Lido.

My favorite grocery store ever! Im Italian and I used to go to Lidl at least 3 times a week in Italy. Everything is cheap and very good quality. I can find products that remind me of home for a lower price.

Fantastic baked goods. Amazing prices on alot of things. For example, 10 pounds of jasmine rice....$4.99! Produce department, it could use some TLC. Cant we all though, 🥰

Very sad that the bakery has gone down hill with their product inventory. I use to rave to everyone about their pastries and they stopped all the good stuff and only make the croissants now. I was told they were discontinued but I’m hoping that’s only temporary due to all the shortages of people and items! 🥺

First visit to the store and they have a great selection in the meat department at awesome prices.

German based grocery chain that I have shopped at while In Germany. Less brand selection than typical US grocery stores but overall good quality products with fresh produce. They do have a small beer & wine selection at this location with a couple of imported German brands.

Best prices and good variety of products, in addition to Very good fresh produce. We highly recommend once you decide to buy something, be quick because once the deal is gone, it is really gone. We highly recommend Lidl and their mobile app. It is the smartest shopping with excellent quality and BEST value in Fayetteville.

If the packed parking lot means a place is good this place should be out of this world! I was not walking in to grocery shop but to be mosey. We did buy a few things. My son loves a pretzel so we purchased some from the bakery and he said they were great. It was clean. Some of their prices seemed to be reasonable. For someone looking for specific brands you get at Walmart or foodlion you might be disappointed. Their produce was priced well. No bags. I must have overlooked the place to purchase bags but we purchased so little it was easy to carry.

I would give it 4 stars but when I go they seem to be out of a fair amount of things. The bakery has this bread usually called Farmers bread I love that stuff its so good.

I love coming to the Lidl. The selection isnt that of larger full service/full product line grocery store, but for the selection they do have, the prices are reasonable, the selection is pretty good, and covers all the necessities. Their house brand products are on par with name brands, but at a fraction of the cost. Their Bakery is small, but has the best fresh baked breads, cookies, & pretzels. They have excellent weekly specials. This week, I bought Spring bulbs for $1.99 - they ranged from 15 to 40 bulbs a bag. And if you have the app, you can earn rewards by scanning the app every time you shop. The employees are very friendly. One tip: bring reusable shopping bags, or youll have to pay for the bags you need/use.

This store gives me similar vibes to Aldie with the whole foreign products they have low crowds but still keep high quality items highly recommend.

Lidl is a good grocery store to get the basics and specialty items at a great price.

Lidl is awesome. Great prices and products. You can use self checkout or you bag your own groceries in a regular check out lane. Bring bags because they are better for the environment, or you may purchase bags there.

I like this store, but it would be nice to at least know when it will reopen, it is the third time that I do a blank lap to find it still closed. At least put in a reopening date so people know. Very disappointed.

Aldis with brighter lights...

Gluhwein at Christmas. Bird seed and suet in early spring. Alot of good things that can be hard to find. Similar set up to an Aldis.

The store close to Skibo is not that organize. Self check outs and bring your own bags.

Dont go. Miserable corporate culture compared to Aldi. Ads draw one in but promotional items out of stock every week, or manager tells me they were not sent.Store is disorganized with same category of products in different places. Some employees notably unhelpful.

I wanted to see what it was all about. Good prices, large variety, interesting selection. Bring your own bags or pay 10 cents for the shopping bag. All in all, I will go back for things on sale.

The store in Sanford is much better and w err ll organuzed.This store is always out of weekend specials.Went this morning to get special and lady s as Id they had already sold out.Friend went on later and gentleman told her they did not receive and would be in tomorrow (Sunday)at 9:00.Sounds like very bad communication!!Hmmmmmm

Lidl opened its doors in Fayetteville on December 18th. I have been traveling 45 miles once per month to the nearest one, so having one here in town indefinitely an improvement.This location did not disappoint; for me, there are a LOT of advantages to this store but one of the biggest is the bakery (which is also what its Lidl apart from ALDI, the other German discount store). Cakes, rolls, donuts and pastries are baked fresh and displayed in well lit cases where you can buy them in any quantity and/or combination you wish. And, they carry REAL Austrian Kaiser Semmeln.Other than that, the store is very similar to the other German grocery store, just a bit more upscale and with larger selections.I gave it four stars (instead of five) because I encountered a small problem with my Lidl app at checkout that store personnel was not able to resolve. I will contact customer service online and see if it can be resolved there.

My new all time favorite grocery store! I just found out that if you download the app you can receive rewards. I have not had a chance to accomplish this yet. However, it is on my to do list before I go again. Their prices are very reasonable. I think it is the quaintness of the store that reminds me of my visit to Germany. They offer many gluten free products, also some name brand along with their brands. Dont forget to check out their sweet aisle to find the CHOCOLATES 😁😉. They do have bags for purchases or bring your own.

Love it, i am from Charlotte where you find just about anything, bakeries are very good (not amazing, but definitely good), if you are looking for international food that cannot find in Walmart or Target, this is the place to go to. Pretty reasonable prices and good collection, including their meats and other miscellaneous items, employees are very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend.

Bring your own bags.

Bought what was supposed to be fresh bread for my sister and I. We ended up giving it to the birds.

BEST shopping experience Ive ever had!!! They have so much organic produce available for incredibly affordable prices. The staff was also extremely nice. As a bonus, you can still use reusable bags there during the Covid pandemic, because customers always bag their own groceries there.

This is a great store produce is always fresh I love that everything is wrapped and sealed so hands havent touched it.

What I need dont have. I love Escargots but I dont see.

Tuesday is kinda the worst day to go as it is their last day of the sales week and a lot of things are out. Also, the Sanford Lidl has a much better flower selection.

Stay very far unless it is an emergency. I had to pack my own groceries, had to purchase a bag to put the stuff in and the felt with the food was going super fast. I had a horrible experience. Good location because it is close to my gym but ill stick to Walmart.

I had shopped the prior weekend and the cashier improperly charged our produce. Initially I was frustrated because when calling the customer service line there is not a public number for the local store. But upon arrival today they heard me out, got manager. She was very kind and understanding. Because yes I should have checked the receipt before I left, but she understood I had my hands full with kids and shopping and simply corrected with a refund that I was able to apply to my purchased items this time. They have some of the best cheese and fresh chicken prices in town!

Only one of the four self-checkouts were open and that one so filthy that we had to grab some of the sanitizer wipes from outside and clean it before we used it. Customers were backed up in the checkout lane next to us (the only one open) and that cashier had to leave it to come to our self checkout to correct a produce price that was triple the price marked on the self.

I absolutely LOVE LIDL!!! I’ve recently been incorporating more veggies and fresh food into my diet and find that the produce here is always fresh, tasty, and inexpensive compared to other grocery stores. They have a lot of organic food options for a cheap price. My personal favorite are the bags of mini avocados for under $3. I would say mostly everything in that store is inexpensive. I’ve eyed their ads and they usually have some practical household items on sale during the weekend. Have I mentioned the bakery? They have OPTIONS and claim to not have preservatives. It’s baked daily too. I cannot rave enough about this store. Check it out!

First time here, but will not be the last. Such a great selection of items at competitive prices. So glad that Fayetteville is growing and adding stores like Lidl that compete with so many others in the area.

Store had a nice selection. They only had one cashier on a Friday after 5pm which I thought was odd, holiday weekends are very busy most places. The cheese I got I noticed when I got home it is unbelievably moldy :( I would bring it back but it was a bit of a drive and a lot of hassle for 3 bucks.

Only went once and that was when they had their grand opening. Its the same as Aldis!

Out of stock of the items that was on sale ...the sale started that day and you out of stock the same day..smh!

One of the best places to shop for groceries in Fayetteville! The staff are so friendly and always willing to help with questions and concerns! Have to say that during this pandemic there were among the first stores to offer masks and gloves to their customers and also institute ongoing cleaning procedures! They really do care about their customers and also their employees... nice to see amidst all the craziness going on! Prices are awesome and meats are the best quality! You can feed a family very well without going over your budget! Specialty household items are an added plus to the already discounted items!!

I like Lidl, the different variety of food and even household and clothing items. Seemingly, whenever I go they are stocked as much as possible with the pandemic.

Why are they making it seems like the business is open already or almost ready!!! i been in the area yet and have yet to see it...now they finally have an address of its location.. I put my application in but months ago this place won’t be built until probably the summer so why was they asking for applicants when they haven’t even started building 🤔

I am at store right now and it is open. They dont have plastic containers for bakery items. I asked them and they said they wont have these containers until next day. Very casual behavior of staff.

Very clean store. They have some different items other grocery stores in the area dont have. The staff was friendly and professional. Prices on the items we purchased was good. This wont be our primary grocery store but probably will be back to get items other stores dont carry.
