I’ve been in this particular Best Buy 3 times. Each time they are polite when I initiate conversation but I can’t get a hello when I enter. when I finally get their attention for service they never assist me …, they direct me to some one else or call some one who never shows up to help me In that department. This is the 3rd time I’ve ended up standing in the store while ordering the same item from Amazon.I thought in the past that maybe it was just a bad day but now I think it is the store culture. That’s cool …, I get it …. I won’t be back. I gave them 2 stars because at least they are polite when you speak directly to them. It would make me feel even worse if they were rude on top of allowing me to shop 30-45 minutes clearly identify what I want and then not sale it to me !

We had to go in for our sons laptop. Geek Squad was great, straightforward and didnt try to bilk us. We ended up having to replace the laptop and our Blue Shirt was Austin, the store manager. He made the process incredibly easy and stress free. I gave him the parameters that were needed and the extras our son wanted. He then took my husband and our son to look at what was within our range in both function and price. Walked out without feeling like we had been had, like we have in the past elsewhere. We will definitely be going back for any electronic needs.

When you get in line patiently and told you can pm and wait again for the second time and totally dont honor what they say. After being told to go ahead n get the item to pm once the manager comes and he says he didnt verify it yet and then question u and get denied. After showing a valid receipt from a different bestbuy they still didnt honor it.

This Best Buy leaves much to be wanting. First off there’s no way to reach them via phone so you have to go in. I went in today to get my Dad a new cell phone charger. Not only were they completely out of Samsung accessories but the manager couldn’t even identify the type of charger that I needed even though I had the same type with me to show him. I will stick to buying from them online, or better yet, buying elsewhere.

Best Buy costumer service has gone in the toilet, and I’ve used them exclusively for years. Local store is not accepting calls, online chat couldn’t answer questions, but thanked me for letting them not answer them, and it was just a dead end at that point, then called twice and the wait time for the National call center was ridiculous. Go t lucky this morning it was less than 10 minutes! Good news was she couldn’t answer any questions and took my info for someone to call me back later that could. Way too much hassle just to get the install price on a dash cam purchased at their store that was given to me as a gift, and try to get an installation appointment. Very disappointed, and taking my business elsewhere.

I came in wanting to have someone in another location be able to purchase a TV here and have me pick it up. The kid said “there is no way to do it unless they have their physical card here or a physical ID matching the name on the card.” I asked him if there was any other way to do it in store and he said no. I go back and look on their website and here lies a “Have someone else pick up” section. They suck at training their employees and they lost $800 from us.

Come for tech sometimes - computer mouse, chargers, phones, etc. Surprisingly great spot to pick up toys and collectibles. Employees are friendly, helpful, and readily available to help pick out items from the back room.

Well it’s the last electronics store in town, but I have to say they’re mostly pretty good. I can’t speak to their geek squad service, but as a retail electronics store they have a huge selection, good pricing (except for cables, buy them elsewhere), and they price match. I just wish they carried more custom PC components!

The store looked like they just had a huge sale and forgot to restock. It was empty. We were told if we wanted assistance we had to get on a waiting list and it was over a half hour wait. Luckily I just needed a small camera bag so I picked from the 2 choices they had.

Best Buy, Federal Way, has the worst customer service. The front door greeters are selective on whom they choose to greet and to ignore. I always end up greeting the door employee first. And you would think, that they would ask you as to what I would need help with. Nope. They dont care. And when you find something, you will have to get on 30-45min waitlist. And this should have been informed upon entering. When you spot the key holders, its when they ignore you completely. Rude!!! If you cant be helpful and friendly, get another job! Hospitality is important for businesses.

Customer service was subpar. Employees did not know the difference between and GPU and CPU when I was trying to order within the store and suggested to order it online instead and pick it up. Went in to get a stero installed in my car by appointment and the installation team in the back did a great job handling and installing it. They were very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do. Even gave me some ideas and info to think about on a future project, which I will return for.

If at all possible, buy the item you want somewhere else! Their customer service is absolutely non-existent. You cant even email them to complain. Order three items for curb pickup, go pick up, arrive at the office to find two items in the bag. Try to call the store, a robotic answering machine wastes your entire hour, you will get no-one and no-where. Have to drive all the way back to the store. Horrible experience, BUY ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They couldnt care less

Staff is unprofessional and ignore people with clear physical disabilities and limitations. When coming in both times to get a power adapter, was not helped by staff, and the first visit was flat out ignored by the specialist of the brand I was inquiring about for 45 minutes. I ended up calling the brands customer service line who looked up the THIS best buy stores in house stock and let me know YES my item was there and despite looking in the common areas, the item was not stocked with the others. I had to flag down additional staff to find the item I needed as they where tucked in with other random brands in a non brand labeled area. Some isles where too narrow, or cluttered to drive my electric wheelchair though and had to back up and work around the ease of access.

Went in to return n pm an item,went inline,1 cashier,waiting. Finally told the guy i want to pm and showed my receipt of the same day and he told me get it and ill pm. Grabbed the last 2 and waited inline again. Finally had to tell him again he tried to look it up n couldnt find it. I told him the new app is not showing the stores prices. So he proceeded to do it n called manager. Told him again and the guy said he ddnt verify it so he checked. Ended up not getting it. Im mad cuz if he said he couldnt do it then i would be like ok bye but he said to get it n pm the item, waited in line twice n Wasted 30mins...

Bought something for pickup online went in and was looking for some other stuff to go with what I bought. Went to register the cashier points me where to go stood there for 5 min or so no one came to see what I was there for even thought a employee seen me standing there. Finally went to the guy watching the door to get help claimed he didnt see us standing there Finally got my item but service isnt very good. Also they werent very busy maybe 6 costumers in the whole store.

I visited the Best Buy in Federal Way, WA last night. As I entered the door past the sign that says open, I was asked at the check in what I was shopping for. I told the individual that I was shopping for a refrigerator. He then stated they were booked full for refrigerator shopping. I asked for an explanation, was given none and I left. While there I saw many others turned away that were trying to shop for other items as well only to be told they were booked full.I tried calling the store immediately after I was told I couldnt shop for a refrigerator, only to be greeted by a message that says this store is not taking calls at this time. I looked for a place to book shopping but didnt see anything on the website to do so. Nor did I see anything stated shopping had to be scheduled. But there were many banners that stated in store shopping is open.A simple explanation wouldve been great, and I may have come back.Went to Lowes and spent 4,000 dollars there.

This location has the absolute worst customer service and the overall store appearance is just depressing. Associates are impossible to find to answer any questions and if you finally encounter one the lack of knowledge for products is unreal, considering they work at a electronics store. We waited 45 minutes for someone to get the TV we wanted from the back. Had to ask several times if someone is gonna help us and everytime they were rude like we were a inconvenincing them. We decided to just leave these employees here seem like they hate there job and really dont care. Did head back again and it was the same thing.

I made an online purchase for a very inexpensive pair of headphones. The system said the order would be ready for pickup in 1 hour. An hour and 10 minutes later, I called the store to see if it was ready. I waited on hold for nearly half an hour before a human answered. The human said that there was a hold placed on it and to call the BestBuy.com customer service to verify some things and that the order wouldnt be processed until I did so. There was absolutely no notification of such a hold or need to call customer service. So I drove to the store, walked in after being excessively interrogated by a Best Buy floor associate as to what I wanted, grabbed the item off the shelf, went to the register, paid for it, and then left, drove home, opened the package, plugged in the headphones, and started listening to music all in less than 45 minutes....and then cancelled the online order.Im not exactly sure what I should call this experience. I was thinking something along the lines of a profanity.I will not be ordering anything from Best Buy.com in the future, and may not even bother purchasing anything from them again. All that for a $10 pair of headphones? Not worth it.

I just don’t understand why they would have somebody so elderly that they don’t know how to operate a computer be on duty using a computer to check people out. It took me 15 minutes to even have a basic conversation and get my address put into the system. Definitely just poor management and not knowing where to place their employees for efficiency. I went in to get a camera lens, cost was about 300 dollars. Apparently they have a queue. The wait was 5-30 minutes. There was another guy waiting on the other isle for a camera. He was 1st in queue, I was 4th. They opened the case for him, walked right past my case and told me I had to wait. All I wanted was to check out and go. I left without a purchase. And will likely rethink my business to best buy because of it.

Yesterday I had a 10 am appointment for a stereo receiver replacement and to have rear speakers added to my Subaru Baja. The install tech did a great job and I couldnt be happier. He was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. The new unit + rear speaker addition sounds great in my car and really makes a noticeable difference. The install only took 2 hours and I was called promptly as my car was finished. Initially I was planning on taking it across the street but after reading their bad online reviews I changed my mind and Im extremely glad I made that decision. I wouldnt trust my car anywhere else.

Terrible company! I would give zero stars if given the option! I purchased appliances on March 10 with a delivery scheduled for March 31. On March 30 I received a call saying my delivery had to be rescheduled due to the fact they didn’t have my items and was assured my next date of April 21 would happen. It is April 20 and they still don’t have my items and tried to assure that I would get them by May 11. The items I ordered were in their warehouse when they took my order so why didn’t I get them. I was on hold for two hours before I finally got a person on the line! I canceled my order and will warn that they sell items to multiple people without actually having them in stock! Go to Lowe’s they have great customer service and don’t try and sell things the don’t have in their warehouse!

The most frustrating experience ever. I waited 15 minutes for help locating headphones- help never arrived. I then waited 15 minutes in line to make my purchase. When I arrived at the register, I asked the cashier if he could please check inside the box to make sure the headphone adapters fit my iPhone. He said I had to buy the headphones first. I then bought the headphones, opened the box up Iul and behold; they were the wrong headphones. I then had to go back to the end of the line and wait an additional 20 minutes to return the headphones. The entire experience cost me 45 minutes. If there were service on the floor, the product return would never have been necessary. And if the front-end manager respected my complaint- instead of pointing back to the end of the line, I wouldn’t be written complaint. This location is a joke. Management has no problem-solving skills, the prices are high and they dont respect their customers time. Your better off going to Walmart.

Dont waste your time here. I came in this afternoon and wanted to purchase a new cell phone. I was the only person in the cellphone area. I noticed 2 of the customer service employees were standing around having a chat with each other and when I looked their way to see if I could get help from one of them they turned around and tried to pretend they could not see me and then tried to hide around the corner. I waited a few minutes and they were still hiding. I then walked over to where they were hiding And I asked one of them If I could get some help in the cell phone area. He then pulled up a tablet and waved it in my face and said are you on this list? Apparently you need to be on a list now for service. However, there was no one waiting in the cell phone area, I was the only person. Talk about the epitome of lazy and not wanting to work and do their job. Instead the customer service employees here would rather stand around and talk to each other (and probably j each other off)

2 stars only because they had the part I needed and I was impatient to wait to ship it.3rd trip over a number of days. Literally one person on checkout 7 standing by the door.Waited 20 minutes for the person in font of me to do a return, checker unpacked the monitor inspected every part took it to another register plugged it in. Processed the return, then went and started to pack the monitor back up without a word. Right about the 15 min mark someone came up to help her with the monitor she multi tasked ringing me though while telling him how dumb and stupid he was.This is why Amazon is winning.

Turn off the fun. Out of stock for what I was looking for. Had to buy it online. I was very disappointed when I went to the website it showed something was in stock I got to the store it still show something was in stock I asked an associate they said they had no idea where the item was but they could see if Id like to get it from another store or order it online. The whole reason and having a brick-and-mortar store is to go in and buy it not have to travel to another town and not have to wait a few days and pay for shipping. I do not suggest this Best Buy if their inventory is not correct .

I went to pick up an item I ordered online and proceeded to customer service; there was a large sign that said Pickups Here, or something to that effect. I waited for a couple minutes. The staff member who helped my was courteous and informed me that item pickup is now over at check out. I thanked him and headed that way. They had one associate at check out, which was fine at the time because there was only two customers. However, the customers order in front of me took about 10 minutes to fulfill. Around five minutes, more people trickled in behind me. I began to wonder if they would open another register. They did not. When I checked out though, the associate was nice and the process was quick. Best Buy also offers curbside pickup, so if you want to avoid any lines, you have that option. Overall a good experience. I didnt like waiting in line for so long, but they have provide ways to avoid that. If youre in the market for electronics like TVs, headphones, game consoles, computers, ect., Best Buy is a good option, albeit more expensive than other places you might find.

Good selection. Store set up to support social distancing. I ordered my item online from the company website and specified curbside pickup. The item was ready to be picked up in a short time, and I was able to pick it up curbside within a couple of hours, including driving time. I was very pleased with the service.

How is it that when you don’t need help, minding your business browsing for an item...2-3 reps come up to you...”can I help you?...” but when you ACTUALLY need assistance...literally standing looking for someone to even make eye contact, they are not available. I have been shopping at this Best Buy for years and have pretty much been happy up until recently. I do not like this queue system that they have implemented. I asked about it and they said that they were short staffed and could only have a limited number of people in the store due to Covid. They never had this during the height of the pandemic. Restrictions are being relaxed now and they decide to add more hoops to shop there? From what I have seen on the intertubes, Best Buy has laid off all of their senior store workers because they think that people prefer curbside pickup and ordering online and that store traffic will never be what it was pre-pandemic. I beg to disagree. I like going into stores to look around. They price match Amazon so that level of competition shouldnt matter. The videos section looks like it is down to one row when I was in there, maybe they were doing remodeling or maybe they are making room for something else. You can still enter the store if you tell them that you want to just look around but if you have any questions while shopping, you will need to have yourself added to the queue. James the GM is helpful. Someone in corporate needs to get their act together on these changes.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! Bad managementI came in 30 mins before close on 1/31/21. I wanted to buy a pair of Bose 700 and a pair of AirPods Pro with a case. I asked for help to get the products out of the case but the guy working at the front door said “I don’t have anyone to open it for you and walked away” this guy is on the clock at the door, and he was just talking to the security guard while I was there.I have worked at Best Buy before and I know one person has the keys on them at all times. I had a flight the next day so I couldn’t go back. I ended up going to target down the street because they price match Best Buy.

I bought a laptop from them with a geek squad warranty and a virus protection for the computer I got nothing. I spent all this money and they use some service called OnTrac for delivery who said they delivered my package yesterday but I never got it. I called the company and couldn’t get anyone on the line then I called Best Buy and Best Buy’s 1-800 # and couldn’t get anyone on the line I left emails with OnTrac as well and here we are still no package yet it says delivered. The fact that the website was easy to navigate is the only reason this is not a one star review. This place charges CRAZY installation fees! What we priced here was $400 less at Home Depot, installed. The initial price tag lures you in here, but you end up spending WAY MORE once all of the delivery/installation fees are added. My husband and I spent 2+hours last Sat and ordered TV, mount and sounds bar, and opened a Best buy credit card and enrolled their tech annual service plan, scheduled delivery date and the installation. Alright, received an email said all the orders been cancelled without any reasons. We can live with it, if they cancelled all, including $150 tech annual service, since we bought that plan for reducing TV installation fee. But they didnt cancel the tech service fee. Basically, we paid $150 for nothing, so we called BB customer service, we were asked to go to the store to cancel this annual recurring fees. Once we went to the store on Sunday, the store staff tried to replace another order with different brand TV....etc. Alright, we accepted to make thing easy. However, I just received another email about the cancellation of the second entire order. of course, they wont cancel service membership $150. That say, we need to go to store again to ask for cancellation again. I think we wont take any replacement order again from Best Buy. Never deal with Best buy again after this.
