I come here at least twice a month to get bread for breakfast and cake for birthday. The bread is fresh and in expensive. The best time to get the major variety is before noon. Also, occasionally they are short-staffed so no one works at the bar, which means no drinks.Tip:1) If you are here as frequently as me, get the 85C app. You can get free rewards, such as free bread or drinks by collecting points.2) Sometimes you get a discount by ordering online or on the app.

This place is super busy, but the checkout line move pretty fast. I love the smoothie here whenever Im nearby I have to stop by for the smoothie, pastries and some dessert to take back for my spouse and kiddos.

You will find a great variety of very deliciously baked goodies here. Ive tried some of the individually wrapped baked breads, etc. and I recently purchased a whole Black Forest Cake for my sons birthday. The cake was carefully packaged and I surprisingly received a disposable cake cutter with the cake! So far, Im completely satisfied with the customer service and the quality/taste of their baked goods.

Compared to other 85° bakeries or stand alone bakeries, performs good. It has lots of bread items to choose from, and usually pretty fresh.Their boba tea was good too, had the tiger iced one. Had two cake slices, the deluxe strawberry and mango brulee, and both were decent. The strawberry one had a good flavor and whipped topping, but the cake bread was on the drier side. The mango one was the better one texture wise, but the flavor was like half real mango and half japanese mango chewy candies; good, not great.The best item I had there was the berrytale, soft cake-ish bread with a berry cream cheese filling, like a berry Danish, very tasty.

Always a fan of 85C! Reasonable prices for delicious Asian breads and cakes!

Got birthday cakes for the most important people in my life here and they are light, not to sweet, and made with mostly mouse! Worth every penny! The fresh fruit is always perfectly ripe! Go there just for the small portions they sell to try what they are all about! The breads smelled amazing but havent tried them so let me know how they are!

The worst tiramisu I’ve ever had. The flavor and texture is completely wrong. It’s so dry that it’s hard to eat. My wife got it for my birthday since it’s my favorite cake and we are both incredibly disappointed. What a huge letdown.

So many delicious treats. While they are sweet, they are less sugary than traditional American desserts.They have savory treats as well.

I am familiar with this place from SoCal. Drinks are made the same here and breads/pastries are just as yummy! :)

Dont rely on their online ordering. It’s done through third party and they cancel at last minute without notice. Poor customer service. No notification about order cancellations whatsoever. Won’t take calls and cite staff shortage for every problem.Update: They charged me for the cake I never received and not picking calls. Have to go through my bank to dispute charges.

Absolutely delectable! Clean! Welcoming environment. Everything is wrapped beautifully. The variety of pastries, muffins, breads, cakes, deserts is amazing! They have the selection areas roped off to manage the flow of traffic and checkout. I cannot go in here without spending over $40 on low/reasonably priced fresh baked goodies! They also have ingredients posted. If you are watching intake, you can easily input the information into your dietary calculations or restrictions. I like that there were also many nut free selections as my family has allergies.

This is such a DANGEROUS place! Everything is DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL, the process is so SIMPLE! They have a basic, yet sanitary “buffet” process to pick out a variety of pastries, tarts, sweets, etc. with individual tongs and a tray. Then to top it off they have the cutest coffee/drink set up and individually seal each drink off once it is made. The prices are reasonable which make you want to try everything they have! The cherry on top is that their customer service is just wonderful! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! I hope one day they’ll expand to Texas and I can enjoy them often.

It is not busy on Wednesday morning so it was nice. If you have been to the Tukwila, the line is long. I only have their pastry but so far so good. Friendly service and nice eating area. Interesting flavor like squid ink, bacon, and cheese. The prices are great compare to even local coffee shop. Ham and cheese for less than $2.50. I will be back.

This place was awesome! I loved how they set up there bakery! It was fast and easy to grab what I wanted. Everything I got tasted great and soft. Its worth the stop if your in the area.

Love this bakery!! I always go to get their rose milk tea with boba, so delicious! The pastries are always so light and yummy. I always get really great service as well. This is my go to bakery now. Try their caramel pudding- it’s like heaven in a cup!

I had heard such great things about 85 C. It might have been great at one time, but it suffers from Starbucks syndrome--a store on every corner and mediocre food. All the pastries looked the same and had about as much ethnicity as a Walmart croissant. Super comforting for the yoga moms inside. Two stars for the super efficient, non-talkative girl running the register. Minus three stars for the garlic cheese roll that tasted like it came from a bag of garlic knots..

They closed at 7pm i was there at 7.04, and i called them because i still see some customers inside. I ask them if i can come in to get a red velvet cake for my daughter birthdays . They replied sorry we are helping the last customer right now. Only can come in if you are already paid for the cake. I will never come here again!!!! Rude and mean people!

If you’re going to require mask you have to provide them just like every other place!...you can kick out people just because they don’t have one with them and forgot it...that’s really rude and makes customers feel uncomfortable....bad customer service

Needs more fresh bread... They are open until 10 PM, and if they are committed until that hour, they should keep baking fresh bread, but there was not enough bread at 4 PM.

I bought a piece of their Black Forest cake from this particular shop on June 24, 2019. One of the cherries had a seed. I bit into it and almost broke my teeth. I called the store at 10 pm on the same day, but the supervisor name, Sang, or Song, did not sound apologetically at all. Plus she had an attitude and telling me they use cans of cherries. (So they are not responsible? Hmmm?) She did not let me talk at all. I had to ask her to let me speak. SMH. What type of customer service is that?! Honestly, I just wanted to let the store know what happened so that they can make it better, but obviously she did not want to hear it. Well, I won’t go back to this place. And if you are buying anything from this store, please watch out.

The Strawberry cheese cake that we ordered really didnt have much of the flavor of the strawberries at all for a strawberry cheese cake, wasnt much of a flavor of the cake was tasteless, other wise it would of been okay

One of my favorites places to grab pastries and a coffee. They have my favorite coffee- Iced Sea Salt Caramel Coffee....SO good.But Im giving them 3 stars because half the time when we make a special hour trip for it they cant make coffee because its too late or none of the employees working can work the coffee bar. Its very frustrating....half their business is coffee they should serve coffee until close.

Food was absolutely delicious as for the employees they were very racist. They didnt give me or my daughter a key to the bathroom the employee said there was only 1 key 3 minutes later a asian lady walked in on me and my daughter with the key in her hand. I at least said it 3 times that someone is in the bathroom, i believe she just wanted to see what i was doing in the bathroom. 3 stars for food 0 star for racist asians

If your in the mood for some bakery specialtys this is the place. The bread is always fresh and the flavor is beyond what youd expect. Also they have a great drink selection that you cant go wrong with.

Very clean and organized. All the freshly baked bread and pastries are individually wrapped now to be covid-friendly. They have a great system and the staff is friendly. The food is very good.

Interesting menu items, slightly different than what Im used to. I feel some foods are slightly Asian inspired, so I tried a couple oddball new items for me and wasnt disappointed! The inside of the business is really nice and clean and the employees were super nice too!

Went to 85 bakery just for there marble taro but sadly they didnt have any left that was out, so my husband went to ask one of the worker and she said that it will take about a hr for it to be ready. We went to H-mart and got boba less than a hr and came back to the bakery just for one of the other worker telling us that they been sold out 30 mins prior before we got there. Never coming back to this location again!

This place is dangerously good. My partner and I used to get pastries and coffee here every Sunday and sit and talk pre-COVID and it was one of my favorite things. Salted butter bread is my favorite!

Better parking and selections than the Lynwood one, less time in line and cleaner than the South Center one. 85°C in general is one of the better Asian bakeries. Great place to stock up on a week worth of grab-and-go breakfasts. The milk bread and NY cheesecake is the best.

I dont normally leave reviews and generally give people the benefit of the doubt but this evenings visit here was very disappointing. We arrived a little more than 30 minutes until closing. I get that that can be annoying be we were no where near the last customers of the night. There was a limited selection of baked good which was understandable because of covid and it being near the end of the night. Decided to forego baked goods and just get drinks and after placing our order the cashier told one of the other employees she had a drink order. She audibly groaned at that. Not great customer service. The caramel milk tea with boba I ordered did not come with boba. I didnt bother asking for a remake for fear of spit in my drink from an obviously already disgruntled employee. My husbands drink wasnt made much better. Overall I cant say that i would recommend this place and I dont think Ill ever come back.

So yummy and so fun. You walk in, grab a tray and tongs and browse the cubbies. Theres always something new and interesting. Always get the premium milk bun though. Best thing out there and sooo good. Im also a fan of the chocolate and matcha buns.

Overall good consistent chain asian bakery...that has drinks too. Get the ap as you will receive points for freebies AND order thru the ap!Get there early on the weekends or they will be OUT. I sometimes ask if they have a certain item in the back i dont see it..even a cake for my friends birthday the other day...and if they have it in the back, they will bring it out.The rectangle cakes are nice for small gathering. All are good. Big cakes- ive only gotten the delixe chocolate, which was a nice light not sitting in your stomach heavy chocolate cake.I also get milk teas there. I appreciate im able to customize the sugar content

My family and I are from CA and 85 degrees bakery is not a rare site there. So when the second location opened up in Federal Way, WA we were excited to have one around the corner. We used to go there often because the sweets were always delicious however, we went there about 3 weeks ago and the deserts all tasted a little off (not good). We were not happy but, thought maybe it was a one time incident so we decided to try it again on 09/07/2020 for my daughters birthday. So disappointed in them the birthday cake was frozen in the middle and the texture was not just dry but, very dry and none of us finished our slice. I gave them 2 stars because their associates are always so nice and professional. I wont be going back to there for a very long time or maybe never. 😭

I tried few locations of 85c and it was always great but not the federal way one. First, The size of bread is smaller than other location and the bread are hard. There are not many people waiting for the drink at that moment but we still waited 15minutes for one drink. Sea salt coffee is one of my favorite drink in 85c. However, it doesnt taste like it supposed to be. The staff doesnt know what to do and slow. Very disappointed with this location.

Delicious pastries here. We only tried a few but they were all good. The matcha green tea with chocolate was amazing.The red velvet cake was devine. Nice and moist and my husband loved the cream cheese frosting.The choclate bun tasted like a brownie and the filling for the strawberry jelly wasnt what I expected but thats a good thing. :) It was a cream with strawberry pieces instead of jelly like a donut like I thought.My least favorite was probably the taro but i still loved the texture of bun. My husband liked the whole thing though.Their full cakes looked so delicous but we couldnt take any home cause we had a two hour trip ahead of us.Will definitely stop by here again whenever we head back from one of our Seattle trips.

The bread is really good but the cashiers are almost always rude or not paying attention. I called once to ask if they had a specific bread in stock once and the employee acted like I was inconveniencing them. Sydney today completely zoned out while I was ordering and acted annoyed when I asked for coffee options. The food is good but there is terrible customer service.

Love it! Its a Korean bakery with every type of cake pastry you could want they also serve coffee and other smoothies and drinks. You walk through a line with your tray and you get to choose what you want and trust me baby huge selection and when you get up to pay you can also order up there different stuff on the menu if you like. You can get to go or you can dine in and eat there. Family friendly!

I loved the sea salt black tea latte.Select sweet or savory pastries, buns and breads serve yourself cafeteria style. They are restocked continuously, so theres always something fresh, even late night. Cakes and jellies, that are almost too pretty to eat, are in the glass bakery case.
